Investigate le scritture, perciocchè voi pensate per esse aver vita eterna; ed esse son quelle che testimoniano di me.

Escudriñad las Escrituras, porque á vosotros os parece que en ellas tenéis la vida eterna; y ellas son las que dan testimonio de mí.

Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

“You search the Scriptures, because you think that in them you have eternal life; and these are they which testify about me.
