Vocês estudam cuidadosamente as Escrituras, porque creem que elas têm a vida eterna. E são as Escrituras que testemunham a meu respeito!

Escudriñad las Escrituras, porque á vosotros os parece que en ellas tenéis la vida eterna; y ellas son las que dan testimonio de mí.

Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
