Après ces choses Jésus s’en alla au delà de la mer de Galilée, qui est la mer de Tibériade.

PASADAS estas cosas, fuése Jesús de la otra parte de la mar de Galilea, que es de Tiberias.

After these things Jesus went over the sea of Galilee, which is the sea of Tiberias.

After these things, Jesus went away to the other side of the sea of Galilee, which is also called the Sea of Tiberias.

Et de grandes troupes le suivaient, à cause qu’ils voyaient les miracles qu’il faisait en ceux qui étaient malades.

Y seguíale grande multitud, porque veían sus señales que hacía en los enfermos.

And a great multitude followed him, because they saw his miracles which he did on them that were diseased.

Mais Jésus monta sur une montagne, et il s’assit là avec ses Disciples.

Y subió Jesús á un monte, y se sentó allí con sus discípulos.

Or le jour de Pâque, qui était la Fête des Juifs, était proche.

Y estaba cerca la Pascua, la fiesta de los Judíos.

And the passover, a feast of the Jews, was nigh.

Et Jésus ayant levé ses yeux, et voyant que de grandes troupes venaient à lui, dit à Philippe : d’où achèterons-nous des pains, afin que ceux-ci aient à manger ?

Y como alzó Jesús los ojos, y vió que había venido á él grande multitud, dice á Felipe: ¿De dónde compraremos pan para que coman éstos?

When Jesus then lifted up his eyes, and saw a great company come unto him, he saith unto Philip, Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat?

Jesus therefore, lifting up his eyes and seeing that a great multitude was coming to him, said to Philip, “Where are we to buy bread, that these may eat?”

Or il disait cela pour l’éprouver : car il savait bien ce qu’il devait faire.

Mas esto decía para probarle; porque él sabía lo que había de hacer.

And this he said to prove him: for he himself knew what he would do.

He said this to test him, for he himself knew what he would do.

Philippe lui répondit : quand nous aurions pour deux cents deniers de pain, cela ne leur suffirait point, quoique chacun d’eux n’en prît que tant soit peu.

Respondióle Felipe: Doscientos denarios de pan no les bastarán, para que cada uno de ellos tome un poco.

Philip answered him, Two hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may take a little.

Philip answered him, “Two hundred denarii worth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may receive a little.”

Et l’un de ses Disciples, savoir André, frère de Simon Pierre, lui dit :

Dícele uno de sus discípulos, Andrés, hermano de Simón Pedro:

One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, saith unto him,

Il y a ici un petit garçon qui a cinq pains d’orge et deux poissons ; mais qu’est-ce que cela pour tant de gens ?

Un muchacho está aquí que tiene cinco panes de cebada y dos pececillos; ¿mas qué es esto entre tantos?

There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many?

“There is a boy here who has five barley loaves and two fish, but what are these among so many?”

Alors Jésus dit : faites asseoir les gens ; (or il y avait beaucoup d’herbe en ce lieu-là), les gens donc s’assirent au nombre d’environ cinq mille.

Entonces Jesús dijo: Haced recostar la gente. Y había mucha hierba en aquel lugar: y recostáronse como número de cinco mil varones.

And Jesus said, Make the men sit down. Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand.

Jesus said, “Have the people sit down.” Now there was much grass in that place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand.

Et Jésus prit les pains ; et après avoir rendu grâces, il les distribua aux Disciples, et les Disciples à ceux qui étaient assis, et de même des poissons, autant qu’ils en voulaient.

Y tomó Jesús aquellos panes, y habiendo dado gracias, repartió á los discípulos, y los discípulos á los que estaban recostados: asimismo de los peces, cuanto querían.

And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would.

Et après qu’ils furent rassasiés, il dit à ses Disciples : amassez les pièces qui sont de reste, afin que rien ne soit perdu.

Y como fueron saciados, dijo á sus discípulos: Recoged los pedazos que han quedado, porque no se pierda nada.

When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost.

When they were filled, he said to his disciples, “Gather up the broken pieces which are left over, that nothing be lost.”

Ils les amassèrent donc, et ils remplirent douze corbeilles des pièces des cinq pains d’orge, qui étaient demeurées de reste à ceux qui en avaient mangé.

Cogieron pues, é hinchieron doce cestas de pedazos de los cinco panes de cebada, que sobraron á los que habían comido.

Therefore they gathered them together, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over and above unto them that had eaten.

So they gathered them up, and filled twelve baskets with broken pieces from the five barley loaves, which were left over by those who had eaten.

Or ces gens ayant vu le miracle que Jésus avait fait, disaient : celui-ci est véritablement le Prophète qui devait venir au monde.

Aquellos hombres entonces, como vieron la señal que Jesús había hecho, decían: Este verdaderamente es el profeta que había de venir al mundo.

Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, This is of a truth that prophet that should come into the world.

When therefore the people saw the sign which Jesus did, they said, “This is truly the prophet who comes into the world.”

Mais Jésus ayant connu qu’ils devaient venir l’enlever afin de le faire Roi, se retira encore tout seul en la montagne.

Y entendiendo Jesús que habían de venir para arrebatarle, y hacerle rey, volvió á retirarse al monte, él solo.

When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force, to make him a king, he departed again into a mountain himself alone.

Jesus therefore, perceiving that they were about to come and take him by force to make him king, withdrew again to the mountain by himself.

Et quand le soir fut venu, ses Disciples descendirent à la mer.

Y como se hizo tarde, descendieron sus discípulos á la mar;

And when even was now come, his disciples went down unto the sea,

When evening came, his disciples went down to the sea.

Et étant montés dans la nacelle, ils passaient au delà de la mer vers Capernaüm, et il était déjà nuit, que Jésus n’était pas encore venu à eux.

Y entrando en un barco, venían de la otra parte de la mar hacia Capernaum. Y era ya oscuro, y Jesús no había venido á ellos.

And entered into a ship, and went over the sea toward Capernaum. And it was now dark, and Jesus was not come to them.

They entered into the boat, and were going over the sea to Capernaum. It was now dark, and Jesus had not come to them.

Et la mer s’éleva par un grand vent qui soufflait.

Y levantábase la mar con un gran viento que soplaba.

And the sea arose by reason of a great wind that blew.

The sea was tossed by a great wind blowing.

Mais après qu’ils eurent ramé environ vingt-cinq ou trente stades, ils virent Jésus marchant sur la mer, et s’approchant de la nacelle ; et ils eurent peur.

Y como hubieron navegado como veinticinco ó treinta estadios, ven á Jesús que andaba sobre la mar, y se acercaba al barco: y tuvieron miedo.

So when they had rowed about five and twenty or thirty furlongs, they see Jesus walking on the sea, and drawing nigh unto the ship: and they were afraid.

When therefore they had rowed about twenty-five or thirty stadia, they saw Jesus walking on the sea and drawing near to the boat; and they were afraid.

Mais il leur dit : c’est moi, ne craignez point.

Mas él les dijo: Yo soy; no tengáis miedo.

But he saith unto them, It is I; be not afraid.

But he said to them, “It is I. Don’t be afraid.”

Ils le reçurent donc avec plaisir dans la nacelle, et aussitôt la nacelle prit terre au lieu où ils allaient.

Ellos entonces gustaron recibirle en el barco: y luego el barco llegó á la tierra donde iban.

Then they willingly received him into the ship: and immediately the ship was at the land whither they went.

They were willing therefore to receive him into the boat. Immediately the boat was at the land where they were going.

Le lendemain les troupes qui étaient demeurées de l’autre côté de la mer, voyant qu’il n’y avait point là d’autre nacelle que celle-là seule dans laquelle ses Disciples étaient entrés, et que Jésus n’était point entré avec ses Disciples dans la nacelle, mais que ses Disciples s’en étaient allés seuls ;

El día siguiente, la gente que estaba de la otra parte de la mar, como vió que no había allí otra navecilla sino una, y que Jesús no había entrado con sus discípulos en ella, sino que sus discípulos se habían ido solos;

The day following, when the people which stood on the other side of the sea saw that there was none other boat there, save that one whereinto his disciples were entered, and that Jesus went not with his disciples into the boat, but that his disciples were gone away alone;

On the next day, the multitude that stood on the other side of the sea saw that there was no other boat there, except the one in which his disciples had embarked, and that Jesus hadn’t entered with his disciples into the boat, but his disciples had gone away alone.

Et d’autres nacelles étant venues de Tibériade près du lieu où ils avaient mangé le pain, après que le Seigneur eut rendu grâces ;

Y que otras navecillas habían arribado de Tiberias junto al lugar donde habían comido el pan después de haber el Señor dado gracias;

(Howbeit there came other boats from Tiberias nigh unto the place where they did eat bread, after that the Lord had given thanks:)

However, boats from Tiberias came near to the place where they ate the bread after the Lord had given thanks.

Ces troupes donc qui voyaient que Jésus n’était point là, ni ses Disciples, montèrent aussi dans ces nacelles, et vinrent à Capernaüm, cherchant Jésus.

Como vió pues la gente que Jesús no estaba allí, ni sus discípulos, entraron ellos en las navecillas, y vinieron á Capernaum buscando á Jesús.

When the people therefore saw that Jesus was not there, neither his disciples, they also took shipping, and came to Capernaum, seeking for Jesus.

When the multitude therefore saw that Jesus wasn’t there, nor his disciples, they themselves got into the boats and came to Capernaum, seeking Jesus.

Et l’ayant trouvé au delà de la mer, ils lui dirent : Maître, quand es-tu arrivé ici ?

Y hallándole de la otra parte de la mar, dijéronle: Rabbí, ¿cuándo llegaste acá?

And when they had found him on the other side of the sea, they said unto him, Rabbi, when camest thou hither?

When they found him on the other side of the sea, they asked him, “Rabbi, when did you come here?”

Jésus leur répondit, et leur dit : en vérité, en vérité je vous dis : vous me cherchez, non parce que vous avez vu des miracles, mais parce que vous avez mangé des pains, et que vous avez été rassasiés.

Respondióles Jesús, y dijo: De cierto, de cierto os digo, que me buscáis, no porque habéis visto las señales, sino porque comisteis el pan y os hartasteis.

Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled.

Jesus answered them, “Most certainly I tell you, you seek me, not because you saw signs, but because you ate of the loaves and were filled.

Travaillez, non point après la viande qui périt, mais après celle qui est permanente jusque dans la vie éternelle, laquelle le Fils de l’homme vous donnera ; car le Père, savoir Dieu, l’a approuvé de son cachet.

Trabajad no por la comida que perece, mas por la comida que á vida eterna permanece, la cual el Hijo del hombre os dará: porque á éste señaló el Padre, que es Dios.

Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.

Don’t work for the food which perishes, but for the food which remains to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you. For God the Father has sealed him.”

Ils lui dirent donc : que ferons-nous pour faire les oeuvres de Dieu ?

Y dijéronle: ¿Qué haremos para que obremos las obras de Dios?

Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?

They said therefore to him, “What must we do, that we may work the works of God?”

Jésus répondit, et leur dit : c’est ici l’oeuvre de Dieu, que vous croyiez en celui qu’il a envoyé.

Respondió Jesús, y díjoles: Esta es la obra de Dios, que creáis en el que él ha enviado.

Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

Jesus answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.”

Alors ils lui dirent : quel miracle fais-tu donc, afin que nous le voyions, et que nous te croyions ? quelle oeuvre fais-tu ?

Dijéronle entonces: ¿Qué señal pues haces tú, para que veamos, y te creamos? ¿Qué obras?

They said therefore unto him, What sign shewest thou then, that we may see, and believe thee? what dost thou work?

They said therefore to him, “What then do you do for a sign, that we may see and believe you? What work do you do?

Nos pères ont mangé la manne au désert ; selon ce qui est écrit : il leur a donné à manger le pain du ciel.

Nuestros padres comieron el maná en el desierto, como está escrito: Pan del cielo les dió á comer.

Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat.

Our fathers ate the manna in the wilderness. As it is written, ‘He gave them bread out of heaven to eat.’”

Mais Jésus leur dit : en vérité, en vérité je vous dis : Moïse ne vous a pas donné le pain du ciel ; mais mon Père vous donne le vrai pain du ciel ;

Y Jesús les dijo: De cierto, de cierto os digo: No os dió Moisés pan del cielo; mas mi Padre os da el verdadero pan del cielo.

Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven.

Jesus therefore said to them, “Most certainly, I tell you, it wasn’t Moses who gave you the bread out of heaven, but my Father gives you the true bread out of heaven.

Car le pain de Dieu c’est celui qui est descendu du ciel, et qui donne la vie au monde.

Porque el pan de Dios es aquel que descendió del cielo y da vida al mundo.

For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.

For the bread of God is that which comes down out of heaven and gives life to the world.”

Ils lui dirent donc : Seigneur, donne-nous toujours ce pain-là.

Y dijéronle: Señor, danos siempre este pan.

Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread.

They said therefore to him, “Lord, always give us this bread.”

Et Jésus leur dit : je suis le pain de vie. Celui qui vient à moi, n’aura point de faim ; et celui qui croit en moi, n’aura jamais soif.

Y Jesús les dijo: Yo soy el pan de vida: el que á mí viene, nunca tendrá hambre; y el que en mí cree, no tendrá sed jamás.

And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will not be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.

Mais je vous ai dit que vous m’avez vu, et cependant vous ne croyez point.

Mas os he dicho, que aunque me habéis visto, no creéis.

But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not.

But I told you that you have seen me, and yet you don’t believe.

Tout ce que mon Père me donne, viendra à moi ; et je ne mettrai point dehors celui qui viendra à moi.

Todo lo que el Padre me da, vendrá á mí; y al que á mí viene, no le hecho fuera.

All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

All those whom the Father gives me will come to me. He who comes to me I will in no way throw out.

Car je suis descendu du ciel non point pour faire ma volonté, mais la volonté de celui qui m’a envoyé.

Porque he descendido del cielo, no para hacer mi voluntad, mas la voluntad del que me envió.

For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.

For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him who sent me.

Et c’est ici la volonté du Père qui m’a envoyé, que je ne perde rien de tout ce qu’il m’a donné, mais que je le ressuscite au dernier jour.

Y esta es la voluntad del que me envió, del Padre: Que todo lo que me diere, no pierda de ello, sino que lo resucite en el día postrero.

And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

This is the will of my Father who sent me, that of all he has given to me I should lose nothing, but should raise him up at the last day.

Et c’est ici la volonté de celui qui m’a envoyé, que quiconque contemple le Fils, et croit en lui, ait la vie éternelle ; c’est pourquoi je le ressusciterai au dernier jour.

Y esta es la voluntad del que me ha enviado: Que todo aquel que ve al Hijo, y cree en él, tenga vida eterna: y yo le resucitaré en el día postrero.

And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

This is the will of the one who sent me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in him should have eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”

Or les Juifs murmuraient contre lui de ce qu’il avait dit : je suis le pain descendu du ciel.

Murmuraban entonces de él los Judíos, porque había dicho: Yo soy el pan que descendí del cielo.

The Jews then murmured at him, because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven.

The Jews therefore murmured concerning him, because he said, “I am the bread which came down out of heaven.”

Car ils disaient : n’est-ce pas ici Jésus, le fils de Joseph, duquel nous connaissons le père et la mère ? comment donc dit celui-ci : je suis descendu du ciel ?

Y decían: ¿No es éste Jesús, el hijo de José, cuyo padre y madre nosotros conocemos? ¿cómo, pues, dice éste: Del cielo he descendido?

And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? how is it then that he saith, I came down from heaven?

They said, “Isn’t this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How then does he say, ‘I have come down out of heaven’?”

Jésus donc répondit, et leur dit : ne murmurez point entre vous.

Y Jesús respondió, y díjoles: No murmuréis entre vosotros.

Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Murmur not among yourselves.

Therefore Jesus answered them, “Don’t murmur among yourselves.

Nul ne peut venir à moi, si le Père, qui m’a envoyé, ne le tire ; et moi, je le ressusciterai au dernier jour.

Ninguno puede venir á mí, si el Padre que me envió no le trajere; y yo le resucitaré en el día postrero.

No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him; and I will raise him up in the last day.

Il est écrit dans les Prophètes : et ils seront tous enseignés de Dieu. Quiconque donc a écouté le Père, et a été instruit de ses intentions, vient à moi.

Escrito está en los profetas: Y serán todos enseñados de Dios. Así que, todo aquel que oyó del Padre, y aprendió, viene á mí.

It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.

It is written in the prophets, ‘They will all be taught by God.’ Therefore everyone who hears from the Father and has learned, comes to me.

Non point qu’aucun ait vu le Père, sinon celui qui est de Dieu, celui- là a vu le Père.

No que alguno haya visto al Padre, sino aquel que vino de Dios, éste ha visto al Padre.

Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father.

Not that anyone has seen the Father, except he who is from God. He has seen the Father.

En vérité, en vérité je vous dis : qui croit en moi a la vie éternelle.

De cierto, de cierto os digo: El que cree en mí, tiene vida eterna.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.

Most certainly, I tell you, he who believes in me has eternal life.

Je suis le pain de vie.

Yo soy el pan de vida.

I am that bread of life.

I am the bread of life.

Vos pères ont mangé la manne au désert, et ils sont morts.

Vuestros padres comieron el maná en el desierto, y son muertos.

Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead.

Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness and they died.

C’est ici le pain qui est descendu du ciel, afin que si quelqu’un en mange, il ne meure point.

Este es el pan que desciende del cielo, para que el que de él comiere, no muera.

This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.

This is the bread which comes down out of heaven, that anyone may eat of it and not die.

Je suis le pain vivifiant qui suis descendu du ciel ; si quelqu’un mange de ce pain, il vivra éternellement ; et le pain que je donnerai, c’est ma chair, laquelle je donnerai pour la vie du monde.

Yo soy el pan vivo que he descendido del cielo: si alguno comiere de este pan, vivirá para siempre; y el pan que yo daré es mi carne, la cual yo daré por la vida del mundo.

I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

I am the living bread which came down out of heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. Yes, the bread which I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.”

Les Juifs donc disputaient entre eux, et disaient : comment celui-ci nous peut-il donner sa chair à manger ?

Entonces los Judíos contendían entre sí, diciendo: ¿Cómo puede éste darnos su carne á comer?

The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat?

The Jews therefore contended with one another, saying, “How can this man give us his flesh to eat?”

Et Jésus leur dit : en vérité, en vérité je vous dis, que si vous ne mangez la chair du Fils de l’homme, et ne buvez son sang, vous n’aurez point la vie en vous-mêmes.

Y Jesús les dijo: De cierto, de cierto os digo: Si no comiereis la carne del Hijo del hombre, y bebiereis su sangre, no tendréis vida en vosotros.

Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.

Jesus therefore said to them, “Most certainly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you don’t have life in yourselves.

Celui qui mange ma chair, et qui boit mon sang a la vie éternelle ; et je le ressusciterai au dernier jour.

El que come mi carne y bebe mi sangre, tiene vida eterna: y yo le resucitaré en el día postrero.

Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.

Car ma chair est une véritable nourriture, et mon sang est un véritable breuvage.

Porque mi carne es verdadera comida, y mi sangre es verdadera bebida.

For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.

For my flesh is food indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.

Celui qui mange ma chair, et qui boit mon sang, demeure en moi, et moi en lui.

El que come mi carne y bebe mi sangre, en mí permanece, y yo en él.

He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.

He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood lives in me, and I in him.

Comme le Père qui est vivant m’a envoyé, et que je suis vivant par le Père ; ainsi celui qui me mangera, vivra aussi par moi.

Como me envió el Padre viviente, y yo vivo por el Padre, asimismo el que me come, él también vivirá por mí.

As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.

As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on me will also live because of me.

C’est ici le pain qui est descendu du ciel, non point comme vos pères ont mangé la manne, et ils sont morts ; celui qui mangera ce pain, vivra éternellement.

Este es el pan que descendió del cielo: no como vuestros padres comieron el maná, y son muertos: el que come de este pan, vivirá eternamente.

This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.

This is the bread which came down out of heaven—not as our fathers ate the manna and died. He who eats this bread will live forever.”

Il dit ces choses dans la Synagogue, enseignant à Capernaüm.

Estas cosas dijo en la sinagoga, enseñando en Capernaum.

These things said he in the synagogue, as he taught in Capernaum.

Et plusieurs de ses disciples l’ayant entendu, dirent : cette parole est dure, qui la peut ouïr ?

Y muchos de sus discípulos oyéndolo, dijeron: Dura es esta palabra: ¿quién la puede oir?

Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it?

Therefore many of his disciples, when they heard this, said, “This is a hard saying! Who can listen to it?”

Mais Jésus sachant en lui-même que ses disciples murmuraient de cela, leur dit : ceci vous scandalise-t-il ?

Y sabiendo Jesús en sí mismo que sus discípulos murmuraban de esto, díjoles: ¿Esto os escandaliza?

When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you?

But Jesus knowing in himself that his disciples murmured at this, said to them, “Does this cause you to stumble?

Que sera-ce donc si vous voyez le Fils de l’homme monter où il était premièrement ?

¿Pues qué, si viereis al Hijo del hombre que sube donde estaba primero?

What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?

Then what if you would see the Son of Man ascending to where he was before?

C’est l’esprit qui vivifie ; la chair ne profite de rien ; les paroles que je vous dis, sont esprit et vie.

El espíritu es el que da vida; la carne nada aprovecha: las palabras que yo os he hablado, son espíritu, y son vida.

It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

It is the spirit who gives life. The flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and are life.

Mais il y en a plusieurs entre vous qui ne croient point ; car Jésus savait dès le commencement qui seraient ceux qui ne croiraient point, et qui serait celui qui le trahirait.

Mas hay algunos de vosotros que no creen. Porque Jesús desde el principio sabía quiénes eran los que no creían, y quién le había de entregar.

But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him.

But there are some of you who don’t believe.” For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were who didn’t believe, and who it was who would betray him.

Il leur dit donc : c’est pour cela que je vous ai dit, que nul ne peut venir à moi, s’il ne lui est donné de mon Père.

Y dijo: Por eso os he dicho que ninguno puede venir á mí, si no le fuere dado del Padre.

And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.

He said, “For this cause I have said to you that no one can come to me, unless it is given to him by my Father.”

Dès cette heure-là plusieurs de ses Disciples l’abandonnèrent, et ils ne marchaient plus avec lui.

Desde esto, muchos de sus discípulos volvieron atrás, y ya no andaban con él.

From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.

At this, many of his disciples went back and walked no more with him.

Et Jésus dit aux douze : et vous, ne vous en voulez-vous point aussi aller ?

Dijo entonces Jesús á los doce: ¿Queréis vosotros iros también?

Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?

Jesus said therefore to the twelve, “You don’t also want to go away, do you?”

Mais Simon Pierre lui répondit : Seigneur ! auprès de qui nous en irons-nous ? tu as les paroles de la vie éternelle :

Y respondióle Simón Pedro: Señor, ¿á quién iremos? tú tienes palabras de vida eterna.

Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.

Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words of eternal life.

Et nous avons cru, et nous avons connu que tu es le Christ, le Fils du Dieu vivant.

Y nosotros creemos y conocemos que tú eres el Cristo, el Hijo de Dios viviente.

And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.

We have come to believe and know that you are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

Jésus leur répondit : ne vous ai-je pas choisis vous douze ? et toutefois l’un de vous est un démon.

Jesús le respondió: ¿No he escogido yo á vosotros doce, y uno de vosotros es diablo?

Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?

Jesus answered them, “Didn’t I choose you, the twelve, and one of you is a devil?”

Or il disait cela de Judas Iscariot, fils de Simon ; car c’était celui à qui il devait arriver de le trahir, quoiqu’il fût l’un des douze.

Y hablaba de Judas Iscariote, hijo de Simón, porque éste era el que le había de entregar, el cual era uno de los doce.

He spake of Judas Iscariot the son of Simon: for he it was that should betray him, being one of the twelve.

Now he spoke of Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot, for it was he who would betray him, being one of the twelve.
