Danach ging (fuhr?) Jesus weg über das Galiläische Meer, †den See Tiberias.

PASADAS estas cosas, fuése Jesús de la otra parte de la mar de Galilea, que es de Tiberias.

After these things Jesus went over the sea of Galilee, which is the sea of Tiberias.

After these things, Jesus went away to the other side of the sea of Galilee, which is also called the Sea of Tiberias.

Es folgte ihm nun aber eine große Volksmenge (Menschenmasse, Menge), weil sie die Zeichen gesehen hatten, die er an den Kranken getan hatte.

Y seguíale grande multitud, porque veían sus señales que hacía en los enfermos.

And a great multitude followed him, because they saw his miracles which he did on them that were diseased.

A great multitude followed him, because they saw his signs which he did on those who were sick.

Es ging aber auf den Berg (stieg hinauf) Jesus, und dort setzte er sich (verweilte, hielt sich auf) mit seinen Jüngern (Schülern).

Y subió Jesús á un monte, y se sentó allí con sus discípulos.

And Jesus went up into a mountain, and there he sat with his disciples.

Es war aber nahe das Pascha, das Fest der Juden.

Y estaba cerca la Pascua, la fiesta de los Judíos.

And the passover, a feast of the Jews, was nigh.

Now the Passover, the feast of the Jews, was at hand.

Wie nun Jesus die Augen aufhebt und sieht, dass eine große Menge (Volksmenge, Menschenmasse) zu ihm gekommen war, sagt er zu Philippus: Woher werden wir Brote einkaufen, damit diese essen?

Y como alzó Jesús los ojos, y vió que había venido á él grande multitud, dice á Felipe: ¿De dónde compraremos pan para que coman éstos?

When Jesus then lifted up his eyes, and saw a great company come unto him, he saith unto Philip, Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat?

Jesus therefore, lifting up his eyes and seeing that a great multitude was coming to him, said to Philip, “Where are we to buy bread, that these may eat?”

Dies aber sagte er, um ihn auf die Probe zu stellen; er nämlich wusste, was er tun wollte (vorhatte, im Begriff war zu tun).

Mas esto decía para probarle; porque él sabía lo que había de hacer.

And this he said to prove him: for he himself knew what he would do.

He said this to test him, for he himself knew what he would do.

Ihm antwortete Philippus: Brote im Wert von 200 Denaren genügen nicht für sie, damit jeder ein wenig bekommt.

Respondióle Felipe: Doscientos denarios de pan no les bastarán, para que cada uno de ellos tome un poco.

Philip answered him, Two hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may take a little.

Philip answered him, “Two hundred denarii worth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may receive a little.”

Sagt zu ihm einer seiner Jünger, Andreas, der Bruder von Simon Petrus:

One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, saith unto him,

Es ist hier ein Junge, der hat fünf Gerstenbrote und zwei Fische, aber das - was ist das für so viele?

Un muchacho está aquí que tiene cinco panes de cebada y dos pececillos; ¿mas qué es esto entre tantos?

There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many?

“There is a boy here who has five barley loaves and two fish, but what are these among so many?”

Sprach Jesus: veranlasst (schafft), dass diese Menschen sich lagern (zu Tisch legen). Es war aber viel Gras an dem Ort. Es lagerten (legten sich zu Tisch) nun die Männer, deren Anzahl †war etwa 5.000.

Entonces Jesús dijo: Haced recostar la gente. Y había mucha hierba en aquel lugar: y recostáronse como número de cinco mil varones.

And Jesus said, Make the men sit down. Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand.

Jesus said, “Have the people sit down.” Now there was much grass in that place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand.

Es nahm nun die Brote Jesus und, nachdem er Dank gesagt (gebetet) hatte, teilte er an die Tischgäste aus, ebenso (in gleicher Weise) auch von den Fischen, so viele wollten.

Y tomó Jesús aquellos panes, y habiendo dado gracias, repartió á los discípulos, y los discípulos á los que estaban recostados: asimismo de los peces, cuanto querían.

And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would.

Jesus took the loaves, and having given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to those who were sitting down, likewise also of the fish as much as they desired.

Als sie nun aber satt waren, sagt er seinen Jüngern: sammelt die restlichen Brocken, damit nichts umkommt.

Y como fueron saciados, dijo á sus discípulos: Recoged los pedazos que han quedado, porque no se pierda nada.

When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost.

When they were filled, he said to his disciples, “Gather up the broken pieces which are left over, that nothing be lost.”

Sie sammelten also und füllten zwölf Körbe mit Brocken von den fünf Gerstenbroten, die die Essenden übrig gelassen hatten.

Cogieron pues, é hinchieron doce cestas de pedazos de los cinco panes de cebada, que sobraron á los que habían comido.

Therefore they gathered them together, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over and above unto them that had eaten.

So they gathered them up, and filled twelve baskets with broken pieces from the five barley loaves, which were left over by those who had eaten.

Da die Menschen das Zeichen sahen, das er getan hatte, sagten sie: Dieser ist wirklich (wahrhaftig) der Prophet, der in die Welt kommen soll.

Aquellos hombres entonces, como vieron la señal que Jesús había hecho, decían: Este verdaderamente es el profeta que había de venir al mundo.

Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, This is of a truth that prophet that should come into the world.

When therefore the people saw the sign which Jesus did, they said, “This is truly the prophet who comes into the world.”

Da Jesus erkannte, dass sie vorhatten (wollten, im Begriff waren) zu kommen und ihn zu entführen (rauben), um ihn zum König zu machen, zog er sich wiederum auf den Berg zurück (kehrte ... zurück), er allein.

Y entendiendo Jesús que habían de venir para arrebatarle, y hacerle rey, volvió á retirarse al monte, él solo.

When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force, to make him a king, he departed again into a mountain himself alone.

Jesus therefore, perceiving that they were about to come and take him by force to make him king, withdrew again to the mountain by himself.

Als es nun Abend wurde, stiegen seine Jünger zum Meer hinab

Y como se hizo tarde, descendieron sus discípulos á la mar;

And when even was now come, his disciples went down unto the sea,

When evening came, his disciples went down to the sea.

und bestiegen ein Boot (Kahn) und fuhren über das Meer nach Kapernaum. Und die Dunkelheit war schon hereingebrochen und noch nicht war zu ihnen gekommen Jesus,

Y entrando en un barco, venían de la otra parte de la mar hacia Capernaum. Y era ya oscuro, y Jesús no había venido á ellos.

And entered into a ship, and went over the sea toward Capernaum. And it was now dark, and Jesus was not come to them.

They entered into the boat, and were going over the sea to Capernaum. It was now dark, and Jesus had not come to them.

und das Meer wurde von einem stark (heftig) wehenden Wind erregt.

Y levantábase la mar con un gran viento que soplaba.

And the sea arose by reason of a great wind that blew.

The sea was tossed by a great wind blowing.

Nachdem sie also 25 oder 30 Stadien gerudert waren, sehen sie Jesus, wie er auf dem Meer geht und nahe ans Schiff kommt, und sie fürchteten sich.

Y como hubieron navegado como veinticinco ó treinta estadios, ven á Jesús que andaba sobre la mar, y se acercaba al barco: y tuvieron miedo.

So when they had rowed about five and twenty or thirty furlongs, they see Jesus walking on the sea, and drawing nigh unto the ship: and they were afraid.

When therefore they had rowed about twenty-five or thirty stadia, they saw Jesus walking on the sea and drawing near to the boat; and they were afraid.

Er aber spricht zu ihnen: Ich bin†'s. Fürchtet euch nicht!

Mas él les dijo: Yo soy; no tengáis miedo.

But he saith unto them, It is I; be not afraid.

But he said to them, “It is I. Don’t be afraid.”

Da wollten sie ihn ins Boot nehmen, und sofort (sogleich) war das Boot an Land, wohin sie aufgebrochen waren.

Ellos entonces gustaron recibirle en el barco: y luego el barco llegó á la tierra donde iban.

Then they willingly received him into the ship: and immediately the ship was at the land whither they went.

They were willing therefore to receive him into the boat. Immediately the boat was at the land where they were going.

Am nächsten Tag merkte (realisierte, erkannte, sah) die Menge, die †(noch) auf der anderen Seite des Sees geblieben war (stand), daß dort kein anderes Boot †gewesen war, außer einem, und daß Jesus nicht mit seinen Jüngern in das Boot eingestiegen war, sondern daß die Jünger alleine weggefahren waren.

El día siguiente, la gente que estaba de la otra parte de la mar, como vió que no había allí otra navecilla sino una, y que Jesús no había entrado con sus discípulos en ella, sino que sus discípulos se habían ido solos;

The day following, when the people which stood on the other side of the sea saw that there was none other boat there, save that one whereinto his disciples were entered, and that Jesus went not with his disciples into the boat, but that his disciples were gone away alone;

On the next day, the multitude that stood on the other side of the sea saw that there was no other boat there, except the one in which his disciples had embarked, and that Jesus hadn’t entered with his disciples into the boat, but his disciples had gone away alone.

Von Tiberias her kamen andere Boote in die Nähe des Ortes, wo sie das Brot aßen (gegessen hatten), nachdem der Herr das Dankgebet gesprochen (dankgesagt, gedankt) hatte.

Y que otras navecillas habían arribado de Tiberias junto al lugar donde habían comido el pan después de haber el Señor dado gracias;

(Howbeit there came other boats from Tiberias nigh unto the place where they did eat bread, after that the Lord had given thanks:)

However, boats from Tiberias came near to the place where they ate the bread after the Lord had given thanks.

Als die Menge also sah, daß Jesus nicht dort ist und auch seine Jünger nicht, stiegen sie in die Boote und kamen nach Kafarnaum und suchten Jesus (um Jesus zu suchen).

Como vió pues la gente que Jesús no estaba allí, ni sus discípulos, entraron ellos en las navecillas, y vinieron á Capernaum buscando á Jesús.

When the people therefore saw that Jesus was not there, neither his disciples, they also took shipping, and came to Capernaum, seeking for Jesus.

When the multitude therefore saw that Jesus wasn’t there, nor his disciples, they themselves got into the boats and came to Capernaum, seeking Jesus.

Und wie sie ihn auf der anderen Seite des Sees fanden, sagten sie ihm: Rabbi, wann bist du hierher gekommen?

Y hallándole de la otra parte de la mar, dijéronle: Rabbí, ¿cuándo llegaste acá?

And when they had found him on the other side of the sea, they said unto him, Rabbi, when camest thou hither?

When they found him on the other side of the sea, they asked him, “Rabbi, when did you come here?”

{Der} Jesus antwortet ihnen und sagte: Amen, Amen (Wahrlich, wahrlich), ich sage Euch, Ihr sucht mich nicht, weil Ihr Zeichen gesehen habt, sondern weil Ihr von den Broten gegessen habt und satt geworden seid.

Respondióles Jesús, y dijo: De cierto, de cierto os digo, que me buscáis, no porque habéis visto las señales, sino porque comisteis el pan y os hartasteis.

Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled.

Jesus answered them, “Most certainly I tell you, you seek me, not because you saw signs, but because you ate of the loaves and were filled.

Arbeitet (Bemüht Euch) nicht für (um) die Nahrung, die vergeht, aber für (um) die Nahrung, die bis in das ewige Leben vorhält (ausreicht, bleibt) und die der Sohn des Menschen (der Menschensohn) Euch geben wird. Diesen nämlich hat der Vater, Gott bestätigt (besiegelt).

Trabajad no por la comida que perece, mas por la comida que á vida eterna permanece, la cual el Hijo del hombre os dará: porque á éste señaló el Padre, que es Dios.

Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.

Don’t work for the food which perishes, but for the food which remains to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you. For God the Father has sealed him.”

Sie sagten also zu ihm: Was sollen wir tun, damit wir für (uns um) die Werke Gottes arbeiten (bemühen, die Werke Gottes tun)?

Y dijéronle: ¿Qué haremos para que obremos las obras de Dios?

Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?

They said therefore to him, “What must we do, that we may work the works of God?”

{Der} Jesus antwortete und sagte ihnen: Dieses ist das Werk Gottes, daß Ihr an den glaubt, den er (jener) gesandt hat.

Respondió Jesús, y díjoles: Esta es la obra de Dios, que creáis en el que él ha enviado.

Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

Jesus answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.”

Sie sprachen daher (da) zu ihm: Welches Zeichen also wirkst (verrichtest, tust) du, damit wir †es sehen und dir glauben? Was bewirkst (tust, machst, arbeitest, 'treibst') du?

Dijéronle entonces: ¿Qué señal pues haces tú, para que veamos, y te creamos? ¿Qué obras?

They said therefore unto him, What sign shewest thou then, that we may see, and believe thee? what dost thou work?

They said therefore to him, “What then do you do for a sign, that we may see and believe you? What work do you do?

Unsere Väter aßen das Manna in der Wüste, wie geschrieben steht: Brot vom Himmel gab er ihnen zu essen.

Nuestros padres comieron el maná en el desierto, como está escrito: Pan del cielo les dió á comer.

Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat.

Our fathers ate the manna in the wilderness. As it is written, ‘He gave them bread out of heaven to eat.’”

Da sprach Jesus zu ihnen: Amen, amen (wahrhaftig!), ich sage euch, nicht Mose hat euch das Brot vom Himmel gegeben, sondern mein Vater gibt euch das echte (wirkliche, wahrhaftige) Brot vom Himmel.

Y Jesús les dijo: De cierto, de cierto os digo: No os dió Moisés pan del cielo; mas mi Padre os da el verdadero pan del cielo.

Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven.

Jesus therefore said to them, “Most certainly, I tell you, it wasn’t Moses who gave you the bread out of heaven, but my Father gives you the true bread out of heaven.

Denn das Brot Gottes ist das, das vom Himmel kommt und das der Welt das Leben gibt .

Porque el pan de Dios es aquel que descendió del cielo y da vida al mundo.

For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.

For the bread of God is that which comes down out of heaven and gives life to the world.”

Da sprachen sie zu ihm: Herr, immer (stets, jederzeit) gib uns dieses Brot!

Y dijéronle: Señor, danos siempre este pan.

Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread.

They said therefore to him, “Lord, always give us this bread.”

Jesus antwortete (sprach zu) ihnen: Ich bin das Brot des Lebens. Wer zu mir kommt, wird gewiss nicht hungern, und wer an mich glaubt, wird gewiss niemals dürsten!

Y Jesús les dijo: Yo soy el pan de vida: el que á mí viene, nunca tendrá hambre; y el que en mí cree, no tendrá sed jamás.

And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will not be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.

Aber ich habe Euch gesagt: (daß) Und Ihr habt mich gesehen und doch glaubt Ihr nicht.

Mas os he dicho, que aunque me habéis visto, no creéis.

But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not.

But I told you that you have seen me, and yet you don’t believe.

Alles, was mir der Vater gibt, wird zu mir kommen, und wer zu mir kommt, †den werde ich sicher nicht wegschicken (herauswerfen).

Todo lo que el Padre me da, vendrá á mí; y al que á mí viene, no le hecho fuera.

All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

All those whom the Father gives me will come to me. He who comes to me I will in no way throw out.

Denn ich bin vom Himmel heruntergestiegen (heruntergekommen), nicht damit ich meinen Willen verwirkliche (tue), sondern den Willen dessen, der mich gesandt hat.

Porque he descendido del cielo, no para hacer mi voluntad, mas la voluntad del que me envió.

For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.

For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him who sent me.

Dieses aber ist der Wille, dessen, der mich gesandt hat, daß ich nichts von allem, was er mir gegeben hat, verliere (vernichte), sondern daß ich es auferwecke am letzten Tag.

Y esta es la voluntad del que me envió, del Padre: Que todo lo que me diere, no pierda de ello, sino que lo resucite en el día postrero.

And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

This is the will of my Father who sent me, that of all he has given to me I should lose nothing, but should raise him up at the last day.

Dieses nämlich ist der Wille meines Vaters, daß jeder, der den Sohn sieht und an ihn glaubt, ewiges Leben habe – und ich werde ihn auferwecken am letzten Tag.

Y esta es la voluntad del que me ha enviado: Que todo aquel que ve al Hijo, y cree en él, tenga vida eterna: y yo le resucitaré en el día postrero.

And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

This is the will of the one who sent me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in him should have eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”

†Es murrten also die Juden über ihn, weil er gesagt hatte: Ich bin das Brot, das vom (aus dem) Himmel heruntergestiegen (heruntergekommen) ist,

Murmuraban entonces de él los Judíos, porque había dicho: Yo soy el pan que descendí del cielo.

The Jews then murmured at him, because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven.

The Jews therefore murmured concerning him, because he said, “I am the bread which came down out of heaven.”

und sie sagten: Ist dieser nicht Jesus, der Sohn Josefs, dessen Vater und Mutter wir kennen? Wie sagt er nun: {daß} Vom (aus dem) Himmel bin ich heruntergestiegen (herabgestiegen)?

Y decían: ¿No es éste Jesús, el hijo de José, cuyo padre y madre nosotros conocemos? ¿cómo, pues, dice éste: Del cielo he descendido?

And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? how is it then that he saith, I came down from heaven?

They said, “Isn’t this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How then does he say, ‘I have come down out of heaven’?”

Jesus antwortete und sagte ihnen: Murrt nicht untereinander (miteinander).

Y Jesús respondió, y díjoles: No murmuréis entre vosotros.

Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Murmur not among yourselves.

Therefore Jesus answered them, “Don’t murmur among yourselves.

Keiner kann zu mir kommen, wenn nicht der Vater, der mich gesandt hat, ihn heranzieht (zieht) – und ich werde ihn auferwecken am letzten Tag.

Ninguno puede venir á mí, si el Padre que me envió no le trajere; y yo le resucitaré en el día postrero.

No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him; and I will raise him up in the last day.

Es steht (ist) geschrieben in den Propheten: Und alle werden von Gott belehrt (Gottes Gelehrte) sein: Jeder der vom Vater gehört und gelernt hat (hört und lernt), kommt zu mir.

Escrito está en los profetas: Y serán todos enseñados de Dios. Así que, todo aquel que oyó del Padre, y aprendió, viene á mí.

It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.

It is written in the prophets, ‘They will all be taught by God.’ Therefore everyone who hears from the Father and has learned, comes to me.

Nicht, daß einer den Vater gesehen hat, außer dem, der von Gott ist – dieser hat den Vater gesehen.

No que alguno haya visto al Padre, sino aquel que vino de Dios, éste ha visto al Padre.

Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father.

Not that anyone has seen the Father, except he who is from God. He has seen the Father.

Amen, Amen (Wahrlich, wahrlich), ich sage Euch, wer glaubt, hat ewiges Leben.

De cierto, de cierto os digo: El que cree en mí, tiene vida eterna.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.

Most certainly, I tell you, he who believes in me has eternal life.

Ich bin das Brot des Lebens.

Yo soy el pan de vida.

I am that bread of life.

I am the bread of life.

Eure Väter haben in der Wüste das Manna gegessen und sind gestorben.

Vuestros padres comieron el maná en el desierto, y son muertos.

Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead.

Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness and they died.

Dieses ist das Brot, das vom (aus dem) Himmel herabkommt, damit man (einer) von ihm ißt und nicht stirbt.

Este es el pan que desciende del cielo, para que el que de él comiere, no muera.

This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.

This is the bread which comes down out of heaven, that anyone may eat of it and not die.

Ich bin das Brot, das lebendige, das vom (aus dem) Himmel herabgekommen ist: Wenn einer von diesem Brot ißt, wird er in {die} Ewigkeit leben – und das Brot aber, das ich geben werde, ist mein Fleisch für das Leben der Welt.

Yo soy el pan vivo que he descendido del cielo: si alguno comiere de este pan, vivirá para siempre; y el pan que yo daré es mi carne, la cual yo daré por la vida del mundo.

I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

I am the living bread which came down out of heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. Yes, the bread which I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.”

†Es stritten also die Juden untereinander und sagten: Wie kann dieser uns das Fleisch zu essen geben?

Entonces los Judíos contendían entre sí, diciendo: ¿Cómo puede éste darnos su carne á comer?

The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat?

The Jews therefore contended with one another, saying, “How can this man give us his flesh to eat?”

{Der} Jesus sagte also zu ihnen: Amen, Amen (Wahrlich, wahrlich), ich sage Euch, wenn Ihr nicht das Fleisch des Menschensohns (des Sohns des Menschen) eßt und sein Blut drinkt, habt Ihr kein Leben in Euch.

Y Jesús les dijo: De cierto, de cierto os digo: Si no comiereis la carne del Hijo del hombre, y bebiereis su sangre, no tendréis vida en vosotros.

Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.

Jesus therefore said to them, “Most certainly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you don’t have life in yourselves.

Wer mein Fleisch verzehrt (ißt) und mein Blut drinkt, hat ewige Leben und ich werde ihn am letzten Tag auferwecken (aufwecken).

El que come mi carne y bebe mi sangre, tiene vida eterna: y yo le resucitaré en el día postrero.

Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.

Denn mein Fleisch ist wahre Speise (wahrhaftiges Speisen) und mein Blut ist wahrer Trank (wahrhaftiges Trinken).

Porque mi carne es verdadera comida, y mi sangre es verdadera bebida.

Wie mich der lebendige Vater geschickt hat und ich durch den Vater lebe, wird auch jener, der mich isst (kaut) und trinkt, leben durch mich.

Como me envió el Padre viviente, y yo vivo por el Padre, asimismo el que me come, él también vivirá por mí.

As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.

Der Geist (Wind, Atem) ist es, der lebendig macht. Das Fleisch †allein nützt gar nichts. Die Worte (Rede, Lehre), die ich zu euch gesprochen habe, sind Geist und sind Leben.

El espíritu es el que da vida; la carne nada aprovecha: las palabras que yo os he hablado, son espíritu, y son vida.

It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

Doch es gibt einige von euch, die nicht glauben (vertrauen). Jesus wusste nämlich von Anfang an, welche die sind, die nicht glaubten, und welcher der ist, der ihn verriet

Mas hay algunos de vosotros que no creen. Porque Jesús desde el principio sabía quiénes eran los que no creían, y quién le había de entregar.

But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him.

Und er sprach: Darum habe ich euch gesagt, dass keiner zu mir kommen kann, wenn es ihm nicht gegeben wäre vom Vater.

Aus diesem Grund (Von da an) zogen sich viele seiner Jünger zurück und folgten ihm (begleiteten ihn) nicht mehr (zogen nicht mehr mit ihm umher).

Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.

und wir glauben (haben geglaubt) und wissen (haben erkannt), daß Du der Heilige Gottes bist.“

Y nosotros creemos y conocemos que tú eres el Cristo, el Hijo de Dios viviente.

And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.

We have come to believe and know that you are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

Jesus antwortete ihnen: „Habe nicht ich Euch, die Zwölf, erwählt (ausgewählt)? Und †doch ist einer von Euch ist ein Teufel (Satan, Verleumdner).“

Jesús le respondió: ¿No he escogido yo á vosotros doce, y uno de vosotros es diablo?

Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?

Jesus answered them, “Didn’t I choose you, the twelve, and one of you is a devil?”

Er meinte aber den Judas †, den Sohn des Simon Iskariot. Dieser war nämlich im Begriff, ihn auszuliefern (zu veraten), einer von den Zwölf.

Y hablaba de Judas Iscariote, hijo de Simón, porque éste era el que le había de entregar, el cual era uno de los doce.

He spake of Judas Iscariot the son of Simon: for he it was that should betray him, being one of the twelve.
