Dopo queste cose, Gesù se ne andò all’altra riva del mar di Galilea, ch’è il mar di Tiberiade.

PASADAS estas cosas, fuése Jesús de la otra parte de la mar de Galilea, que es de Tiberias.

After these things Jesus went over the sea of Galilee, which is the sea of Tiberias.

After these things, Jesus went away to the other side of the sea of Galilee, which is also called the Sea of Tiberias.

E una gran moltitudine lo seguiva, perché vedeva i miracoli ch’egli faceva sugl’infermi.

Y seguíale grande multitud, porque veían sus señales que hacía en los enfermos.

And a great multitude followed him, because they saw his miracles which he did on them that were diseased.

A great multitude followed him, because they saw his signs which he did on those who were sick.

Ma Gesù salì sul monte e quivi si pose a sedere co’ suoi discepoli.

Y subió Jesús á un monte, y se sentó allí con sus discípulos.

And Jesus went up into a mountain, and there he sat with his disciples.

Or la Pasqua, la festa dei Giudei, era vicina.

Y estaba cerca la Pascua, la fiesta de los Judíos.

And the passover, a feast of the Jews, was nigh.

Now the Passover, the feast of the Jews, was at hand.

Gesù dunque, alzati gli occhi e vedendo che una gran folla veniva a lui, disse a Filippo: Dove comprerem noi del pane perché questa gente abbia da mangiare?

Y como alzó Jesús los ojos, y vió que había venido á él grande multitud, dice á Felipe: ¿De dónde compraremos pan para que coman éstos?

When Jesus then lifted up his eyes, and saw a great company come unto him, he saith unto Philip, Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat?

Jesus therefore, lifting up his eyes and seeing that a great multitude was coming to him, said to Philip, “Where are we to buy bread, that these may eat?”

Diceva così per provarlo; perché sapeva bene quel che stava per fare.

Mas esto decía para probarle; porque él sabía lo que había de hacer.

And this he said to prove him: for he himself knew what he would do.

He said this to test him, for he himself knew what he would do.

Filippo gli rispose: Dugento denari di pane non bastano perché ciascun di loro n’abbia un pezzetto.

Respondióle Felipe: Doscientos denarios de pan no les bastarán, para que cada uno de ellos tome un poco.

Philip answered him, Two hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may take a little.

Philip answered him, “Two hundred denarii worth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may receive a little.”

Uno de’ suoi discepoli, Andrea, fratello di Simon Pietro, gli disse:

One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, saith unto him,

One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, said to him,

V’è qui un ragazzo che ha cinque pani d’orzo e due pesci; ma che cosa sono per tanta gente?

Un muchacho está aquí que tiene cinco panes de cebada y dos pececillos; ¿mas qué es esto entre tantos?

There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many?

“There is a boy here who has five barley loaves and two fish, but what are these among so many?”

Gesù disse: Fateli sedere. Or v’era molt’erba in quel luogo. La gente dunque si sedette, ed eran circa cinquemila uomini.

Entonces Jesús dijo: Haced recostar la gente. Y había mucha hierba en aquel lugar: y recostáronse como número de cinco mil varones.

And Jesus said, Make the men sit down. Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand.

Jesus said, “Have the people sit down.” Now there was much grass in that place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand.

Gesù quindi prese i pani; e dopo aver rese grazie, li distribuì alla gente seduta; lo stesso fece de’ pesci, quanto volevano.

Y tomó Jesús aquellos panes, y habiendo dado gracias, repartió á los discípulos, y los discípulos á los que estaban recostados: asimismo de los peces, cuanto querían.

And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would.

Jesus took the loaves, and having given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to those who were sitting down, likewise also of the fish as much as they desired.

E quando furon saziati, disse ai suoi discepoli: Raccogliete i pezzi avanzati, ché nulla se ne perda.

Y como fueron saciados, dijo á sus discípulos: Recoged los pedazos que han quedado, porque no se pierda nada.

When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost.

When they were filled, he said to his disciples, “Gather up the broken pieces which are left over, that nothing be lost.”

Essi quindi li raccolsero, ed empiron dodici ceste di pezzi che di que’ cinque pani d’orzo erano avanzati a quelli che avean mangiato.

Cogieron pues, é hinchieron doce cestas de pedazos de los cinco panes de cebada, que sobraron á los que habían comido.

Therefore they gathered them together, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over and above unto them that had eaten.

So they gathered them up, and filled twelve baskets with broken pieces from the five barley loaves, which were left over by those who had eaten.

La gente dunque, avendo veduto il miracolo che Gesù avea fatto, disse: Questi è certo il profeta che ha da venire al mondo.

Aquellos hombres entonces, como vieron la señal que Jesús había hecho, decían: Este verdaderamente es el profeta que había de venir al mundo.

Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, This is of a truth that prophet that should come into the world.

When therefore the people saw the sign which Jesus did, they said, “This is truly the prophet who comes into the world.”

Gesù quindi, sapendo che stavan per venire a rapirlo per farlo re, si ritirò di nuovo sul monte, tutto solo.

Y entendiendo Jesús que habían de venir para arrebatarle, y hacerle rey, volvió á retirarse al monte, él solo.

When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force, to make him a king, he departed again into a mountain himself alone.

Jesus therefore, perceiving that they were about to come and take him by force to make him king, withdrew again to the mountain by himself.

E quando fu sera, i suoi discepoli scesero al mare;

Y como se hizo tarde, descendieron sus discípulos á la mar;

And when even was now come, his disciples went down unto the sea,

When evening came, his disciples went down to the sea.

e montati in una barca, si dirigevano all’altra riva, verso Capernaum. Già era buio, e Gesù non era ancora venuto a loro.

Y entrando en un barco, venían de la otra parte de la mar hacia Capernaum. Y era ya oscuro, y Jesús no había venido á ellos.

And entered into a ship, and went over the sea toward Capernaum. And it was now dark, and Jesus was not come to them.

They entered into the boat, and were going over the sea to Capernaum. It was now dark, and Jesus had not come to them.

E il mare era agitato, perché tirava un gran vento.

Y levantábase la mar con un gran viento que soplaba.

And the sea arose by reason of a great wind that blew.

The sea was tossed by a great wind blowing.

Or com’ebbero vogato circa venticinque o trenta stadi, videro Gesù che camminava sul mare e s’accostava alla barca; ed ebbero paura.

Y como hubieron navegado como veinticinco ó treinta estadios, ven á Jesús que andaba sobre la mar, y se acercaba al barco: y tuvieron miedo.

So when they had rowed about five and twenty or thirty furlongs, they see Jesus walking on the sea, and drawing nigh unto the ship: and they were afraid.

When therefore they had rowed about twenty-five or thirty stadia, they saw Jesus walking on the sea and drawing near to the boat; and they were afraid.

Ma egli disse loro: Son io, non temete.

Mas él les dijo: Yo soy; no tengáis miedo.

But he saith unto them, It is I; be not afraid.

But he said to them, “It is I. Don’t be afraid.”

Essi dunque lo vollero prendere nella barca, e subito la barca toccò terra là dove eran diretti.

Ellos entonces gustaron recibirle en el barco: y luego el barco llegó á la tierra donde iban.

Then they willingly received him into the ship: and immediately the ship was at the land whither they went.

They were willing therefore to receive him into the boat. Immediately the boat was at the land where they were going.

La folla che era rimasta all’altra riva del mare avea notato che non v’era quivi altro che una barca sola, e che Gesù non v’era entrato co’ suoi discepoli, ma che i discepoli eran partiti soli.

El día siguiente, la gente que estaba de la otra parte de la mar, como vió que no había allí otra navecilla sino una, y que Jesús no había entrado con sus discípulos en ella, sino que sus discípulos se habían ido solos;

The day following, when the people which stood on the other side of the sea saw that there was none other boat there, save that one whereinto his disciples were entered, and that Jesus went not with his disciples into the boat, but that his disciples were gone away alone;

On the next day, the multitude that stood on the other side of the sea saw that there was no other boat there, except the one in which his disciples had embarked, and that Jesus hadn’t entered with his disciples into the boat, but his disciples had gone away alone.

Or altre barche eran giunte da Tiberiade, presso al luogo dove avean mangiato il pane dopo che il Signore avea reso grazie.

Y que otras navecillas habían arribado de Tiberias junto al lugar donde habían comido el pan después de haber el Señor dado gracias;

(Howbeit there came other boats from Tiberias nigh unto the place where they did eat bread, after that the Lord had given thanks:)

However, boats from Tiberias came near to the place where they ate the bread after the Lord had given thanks.

La folla, dunque, quando l’indomani ebbe veduto che Gesù non era quivi, né che v’erano i suoi discepoli, montò in quelle barche, e venne a Capernaum in cerca di Gesù.

Como vió pues la gente que Jesús no estaba allí, ni sus discípulos, entraron ellos en las navecillas, y vinieron á Capernaum buscando á Jesús.

When the people therefore saw that Jesus was not there, neither his disciples, they also took shipping, and came to Capernaum, seeking for Jesus.

When the multitude therefore saw that Jesus wasn’t there, nor his disciples, they themselves got into the boats and came to Capernaum, seeking Jesus.

E trovatolo di là dal mare, gli dissero: Maestro, quando se’ giunto qua?

Y hallándole de la otra parte de la mar, dijéronle: Rabbí, ¿cuándo llegaste acá?

And when they had found him on the other side of the sea, they said unto him, Rabbi, when camest thou hither?

When they found him on the other side of the sea, they asked him, “Rabbi, when did you come here?”

Gesù rispose loro e disse: In verità, in verità vi dico che voi mi cercate, non perché avete veduto dei miracoli, ma perché avete mangiato de’ pani e siete stati saziati.

Respondióles Jesús, y dijo: De cierto, de cierto os digo, que me buscáis, no porque habéis visto las señales, sino porque comisteis el pan y os hartasteis.

Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled.

Jesus answered them, “Most certainly I tell you, you seek me, not because you saw signs, but because you ate of the loaves and were filled.

Adopratevi non per il cibo che perisce, ma per il cibo che dura in vita eterna, il quale il Figliuol dell’uomo vi darà; poiché su lui il Padre, cioè Dio, ha apposto il proprio suggello.

Trabajad no por la comida que perece, mas por la comida que á vida eterna permanece, la cual el Hijo del hombre os dará: porque á éste señaló el Padre, que es Dios.

Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.

Don’t work for the food which perishes, but for the food which remains to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you. For God the Father has sealed him.”

Essi dunque gli dissero: Che dobbiam fare per operare le opere di Dio?

Y dijéronle: ¿Qué haremos para que obremos las obras de Dios?

Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?

They said therefore to him, “What must we do, that we may work the works of God?”

Gesù rispose e disse loro: Questa è l’opera di Dio: che crediate in colui che Egli ha mandato.

Respondió Jesús, y díjoles: Esta es la obra de Dios, que creáis en el que él ha enviado.

Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

Jesus answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.”

Allora essi gli dissero: Qual segno fai tu dunque perché lo vediamo e ti crediamo? Che operi?

Dijéronle entonces: ¿Qué señal pues haces tú, para que veamos, y te creamos? ¿Qué obras?

They said therefore unto him, What sign shewest thou then, that we may see, and believe thee? what dost thou work?

They said therefore to him, “What then do you do for a sign, that we may see and believe you? What work do you do?

I nostri padri mangiaron la manna nel deserto, com’è scritto: Egli diè loro da mangiare del pane venuto dal cielo.

Nuestros padres comieron el maná en el desierto, como está escrito: Pan del cielo les dió á comer.

Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat.

Our fathers ate the manna in the wilderness. As it is written, ‘He gave them bread out of heaven to eat.’”

E Gesù disse loro: In verità vi dico che non Mosè vi ha dato il pane che vien dal cielo, ma il Padre mio vi dà il vero pane che viene dal cielo.

Y Jesús les dijo: De cierto, de cierto os digo: No os dió Moisés pan del cielo; mas mi Padre os da el verdadero pan del cielo.

Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven.

Jesus therefore said to them, “Most certainly, I tell you, it wasn’t Moses who gave you the bread out of heaven, but my Father gives you the true bread out of heaven.

Poiché il pan di Dio è quello che scende dal cielo, e dà vita al mondo. Essi quindi gli dissero:

Porque el pan de Dios es aquel que descendió del cielo y da vida al mundo.

For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.

For the bread of God is that which comes down out of heaven and gives life to the world.”

Signore, dacci sempre di codesto pane.

Y dijéronle: Señor, danos siempre este pan.

Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread.

They said therefore to him, “Lord, always give us this bread.”

Gesù disse loro: Io son il pan della vita; chi viene a me non avrà fame, e chi crede in me non avrà mai sete.

Y Jesús les dijo: Yo soy el pan de vida: el que á mí viene, nunca tendrá hambre; y el que en mí cree, no tendrá sed jamás.

And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will not be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.

Ma io ve l’ho detto: Voi m’avete veduto, eppur non credete!

Mas os he dicho, que aunque me habéis visto, no creéis.

But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not.

But I told you that you have seen me, and yet you don’t believe.

Tutto quel che il Padre mi dà, verrà a me; e colui che viene a me, io non lo caccerò fuori;

Todo lo que el Padre me da, vendrá á mí; y al que á mí viene, no le hecho fuera.

All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

All those whom the Father gives me will come to me. He who comes to me I will in no way throw out.

perché son disceso dal cielo per fare non la mia volontà, ma la volontà di Colui che mi ha mandato.

Porque he descendido del cielo, no para hacer mi voluntad, mas la voluntad del que me envió.

For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.

For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him who sent me.

E questa è la volontà di Colui che mi ha mandato: ch’io non perda nulla di tutto quel ch’Egli m’ha dato, ma che lo risusciti nell’ultimo giorno.

Y esta es la voluntad del que me envió, del Padre: Que todo lo que me diere, no pierda de ello, sino que lo resucite en el día postrero.

And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

This is the will of my Father who sent me, that of all he has given to me I should lose nothing, but should raise him up at the last day.

Poiché questa è la volontà del Padre mio: che chiunque contempla il Figliuolo e crede in lui, abbia vita eterna; e io lo risusciterò nell’ultimo giorno.

Y esta es la voluntad del que me ha enviado: Que todo aquel que ve al Hijo, y cree en él, tenga vida eterna: y yo le resucitaré en el día postrero.

And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

This is the will of the one who sent me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in him should have eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”

I Giudei perciò mormoravano di lui perché avea detto: Io sono il pane che è disceso dal cielo.

Murmuraban entonces de él los Judíos, porque había dicho: Yo soy el pan que descendí del cielo.

The Jews then murmured at him, because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven.

The Jews therefore murmured concerning him, because he said, “I am the bread which came down out of heaven.”

E dicevano: Non è costui Gesù, il figliuol di Giuseppe, del quale conosciamo il padre e la madre? Come mai dice egli ora: Io son disceso dal cielo?

Y decían: ¿No es éste Jesús, el hijo de José, cuyo padre y madre nosotros conocemos? ¿cómo, pues, dice éste: Del cielo he descendido?

And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? how is it then that he saith, I came down from heaven?

They said, “Isn’t this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How then does he say, ‘I have come down out of heaven’?”

Gesù rispose e disse loro: Non mormorate fra voi.

Y Jesús respondió, y díjoles: No murmuréis entre vosotros.

Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Murmur not among yourselves.

Therefore Jesus answered them, “Don’t murmur among yourselves.

Niuno può venire a me se non che il Padre, il quale mi ha mandato, lo attiri; e io lo risusciterò nell’ultimo giorno.

Ninguno puede venir á mí, si el Padre que me envió no le trajere; y yo le resucitaré en el día postrero.

No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him; and I will raise him up in the last day.

E’ scritto nei profeti: E saranno tutti ammaestrati da Dio. Ogni uomo che ha udito il Padre ed ha imparato da lui, viene a me.

Escrito está en los profetas: Y serán todos enseñados de Dios. Así que, todo aquel que oyó del Padre, y aprendió, viene á mí.

It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.

It is written in the prophets, ‘They will all be taught by God.’ Therefore everyone who hears from the Father and has learned, comes to me.

Non che alcuno abbia veduto il Padre, se non colui che è da Dio; egli ha veduto il Padre.

No que alguno haya visto al Padre, sino aquel que vino de Dios, éste ha visto al Padre.

Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father.

Not that anyone has seen the Father, except he who is from God. He has seen the Father.

In verità, in verità io vi dico: Chi crede ha vita eterna.

De cierto, de cierto os digo: El que cree en mí, tiene vida eterna.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.

Most certainly, I tell you, he who believes in me has eternal life.

Io sono il pan della vita.

Yo soy el pan de vida.

I am that bread of life.

I am the bread of life.

I vostri padri mangiarono la manna nel deserto e morirono.

Vuestros padres comieron el maná en el desierto, y son muertos.

Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead.

Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness and they died.

Questo è il pane che discende dal cielo, affinché chi ne mangia non muoia.

Este es el pan que desciende del cielo, para que el que de él comiere, no muera.

This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.

This is the bread which comes down out of heaven, that anyone may eat of it and not die.

Io sono il pane vivente, che è disceso dal cielo; se uno mangia di questo pane vivrà in eterno; e il pane che darò è la mia carne, che darò per la vita del mondo.

Yo soy el pan vivo que he descendido del cielo: si alguno comiere de este pan, vivirá para siempre; y el pan que yo daré es mi carne, la cual yo daré por la vida del mundo.

I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

I am the living bread which came down out of heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. Yes, the bread which I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.”

I Giudei dunque disputavano fra di loro, dicendo: Come mai può costui darci a mangiare la sua carne?

Entonces los Judíos contendían entre sí, diciendo: ¿Cómo puede éste darnos su carne á comer?

The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat?

The Jews therefore contended with one another, saying, “How can this man give us his flesh to eat?”

Perciò Gesù disse loro: In verità, in verità io vi dico che se non mangiate la carne del Figliuol dell’uomo e non bevete il suo sangue, non avete la vita in voi.

Y Jesús les dijo: De cierto, de cierto os digo: Si no comiereis la carne del Hijo del hombre, y bebiereis su sangre, no tendréis vida en vosotros.

Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.

Jesus therefore said to them, “Most certainly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you don’t have life in yourselves.

Chi mangia la mia carne e beve il mio sangue ha vita eterna; e io lo risusciterò nell’ultimo giorno.

El que come mi carne y bebe mi sangre, tiene vida eterna: y yo le resucitaré en el día postrero.

Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.

Perché la mia carne è vero cibo e il mio sangue è vera bevanda.

Porque mi carne es verdadera comida, y mi sangre es verdadera bebida.

For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.

For my flesh is food indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.

Chi mangia la mia carne e beve il mio sangue dimora in me, e io in lui.

El que come mi carne y bebe mi sangre, en mí permanece, y yo en él.

He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.

He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood lives in me, and I in him.

Come il vivente Padre mi ha mandato e io vivo a cagion del Padre, così chi mi mangia vivrà anch’egli a cagion di me.

Como me envió el Padre viviente, y yo vivo por el Padre, asimismo el que me come, él también vivirá por mí.

As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.

As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on me will also live because of me.

Questo è il pane che è disceso dal cielo; non qual era quello che i padri mangiarono e morirono; chi mangia di questo pane vivrà in eterno.

Este es el pan que descendió del cielo: no como vuestros padres comieron el maná, y son muertos: el que come de este pan, vivirá eternamente.

This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.

This is the bread which came down out of heaven—not as our fathers ate the manna and died. He who eats this bread will live forever.”

Queste cose disse Gesù, insegnando nella sinagoga di Capernaum.

Estas cosas dijo en la sinagoga, enseñando en Capernaum.

These things said he in the synagogue, as he taught in Capernaum.

He said these things in the synagogue, as he taught in Capernaum.

Onde molti dei suoi discepoli, udite che l’ebbero, dissero: Questo parlare è duro; chi lo può ascoltare?

Y muchos de sus discípulos oyéndolo, dijeron: Dura es esta palabra: ¿quién la puede oir?

Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it?

Therefore many of his disciples, when they heard this, said, “This is a hard saying! Who can listen to it?”

Ma Gesù, conoscendo in se stesso che i suoi discepoli mormoravan di ciò, disse loro: Questo vi scandalizza?

Y sabiendo Jesús en sí mismo que sus discípulos murmuraban de esto, díjoles: ¿Esto os escandaliza?

When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you?

But Jesus knowing in himself that his disciples murmured at this, said to them, “Does this cause you to stumble?

E che sarebbe se vedeste il Figliuol dell’uomo ascendere dov’era prima?

¿Pues qué, si viereis al Hijo del hombre que sube donde estaba primero?

What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?

Then what if you would see the Son of Man ascending to where he was before?

E’ lo spirito quel che vivifica; la carne non giova nulla; le parole che vi ho dette sono spirito e vita.

El espíritu es el que da vida; la carne nada aprovecha: las palabras que yo os he hablado, son espíritu, y son vida.

It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

It is the spirit who gives life. The flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and are life.

Ma fra voi ve ne sono alcuni che non credono. Poiché Gesù sapeva fin da principio chi eran quelli che non credevano, e chi era colui che lo tradirebbe.

Mas hay algunos de vosotros que no creen. Porque Jesús desde el principio sabía quiénes eran los que no creían, y quién le había de entregar.

But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him.

But there are some of you who don’t believe.” For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were who didn’t believe, and who it was who would betray him.

E diceva: Per questo v’ho detto che niuno può venire a me, se non gli è dato dal Padre.

Y dijo: Por eso os he dicho que ninguno puede venir á mí, si no le fuere dado del Padre.

And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.

He said, “For this cause I have said to you that no one can come to me, unless it is given to him by my Father.”

D’allora molti de’ suoi discepoli si ritrassero indietro e non andavan più con lui.

Desde esto, muchos de sus discípulos volvieron atrás, y ya no andaban con él.

From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.

Perciò Gesù disse ai dodici: Non ve ne volete andare anche voi?

Dijo entonces Jesús á los doce: ¿Queréis vosotros iros también?

Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?

Jesus said therefore to the twelve, “You don’t also want to go away, do you?”

Simon Pietro gli rispose: Signore, a chi ce ne andremmo noi? Tu hai parole di vita eterna;

Y respondióle Simón Pedro: Señor, ¿á quién iremos? tú tienes palabras de vida eterna.

Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.

Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words of eternal life.

e noi abbiam creduto e abbiam conosciuto che tu sei il Santo di Dio.

Y nosotros creemos y conocemos que tú eres el Cristo, el Hijo de Dios viviente.

And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.

We have come to believe and know that you are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

Gesù rispose loro: Non ho io scelto voi dodici? Eppure, un di voi è un diavolo.

Jesús le respondió: ¿No he escogido yo á vosotros doce, y uno de vosotros es diablo?

Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?

Jesus answered them, “Didn’t I choose you, the twelve, and one of you is a devil?”

Or egli parlava di Giuda, figliuol di Simone Iscariota, perché era lui, uno di quei dodici, che lo dovea tradire.

Y hablaba de Judas Iscariote, hijo de Simón, porque éste era el que le había de entregar, el cual era uno de los doce.

He spake of Judas Iscariot the son of Simon: for he it was that should betray him, being one of the twelve.

Now he spoke of Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot, for it was he who would betray him, being one of the twelve.
