Die Welt kann euch nicht hassen; mich aber hasst sie, weil ich von ihr zeuge, dass ihre Werke böse sind.

No puede el mundo aborreceros á vosotros; mas á mí me aborrece, porque yo doy testimonio de él, que sus obras son malas.

The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil.

The world can’t hate you, but it hates me, because I testify about it, that its works are evil.
