"Sem dúvida, vós sois o povo; a sabedoria morrerá convosco.
Ciertamente que vosotros sois el pueblo; y con vosotros morirá la sabiduría.
No doubt but ye are the people, and wisdom shall die with you.
“No doubt, but you are the people, and wisdom will die with you.
Mas eu tenho entendimento tanto quanto vós; eu não sou inferior a vós. Na verdade, quem não sabe coisas como estas?
También tengo yo seso como vosotros; no soy yo menos que vosotros: ¿y quién habrá que no pueda decir otro tanto?
But I have understanding as well as you; I am not inferior to you: yea, who knoweth not such things as these?

Eu sou motivo de riso para o meu próximo. Eu, aquele que chamou Deus e foi respondido por Ele! Eu, um justo e inocente; sou agora motivo de riso.
Yo soy uno de quien su amigo se mofa, que invoca á Dios, y él le responde: con todo, el justo y perfecto es escarnecido.
I am as one mocked of his neighbour, who calleth upon God, and he answereth him: the just upright man is laughed to scorn.
I am like one who is a joke to his neighbor, I, who called on God, and he answered. The just, the blameless man is a joke.
No pensamento de quem está tranquilo, há desprezo pela calamidade; um empurrão para aqueles cujos os pés estão escorregando.
Aquel cuyos pies van á resbalar, es como una lámpara despreciada de aquel que está á sus anchuras.
He that is ready to slip with his feet is as a lamp despised in the thought of him that is at ease.
In the thought of him who is at ease there is contempt for misfortune. It is ready for them whose foot slips.
As tendas dos bandidos prosperam e aqueles que provocam a Deus sentem-se seguros; as suas próprias mãos são os seus deuses.
Prosperan las tiendas de los ladrones, y los que provocan á Dios viven seguros; en cuyas manos él ha puesto cuanto tienen.
The tabernacles of robbers prosper, and they that provoke God are secure; into whose hand God bringeth abundantly.
The tents of robbers prosper. Those who provoke God are secure, who carry their god in their hands.
Mas agora pergunta aos animais e eles te ensinarão; pergunta às aves dos céus e elas te contarão.
Y en efecto, pregunta ahora á las bestias, que ellas te enseñarán; y á las aves de los cielos, que ellas te lo mostrarán:
But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee; and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee:
“But ask the animals now, and they will teach you; the birds of the sky, and they will tell you.
Ou fale para a Terra e ela te ensinará; os peixes do mar irão declarar-te isto.
O habla á la tierra, que ella te enseñará; los peces de la mar te lo declararán también.
Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee: and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee.
Or speak to the earth, and it will teach you. The fish of the sea will declare to you.
Qual animal entre todos estes não sabe que a mão de Yahweh fez isto?
¿Qué cosa de todas estas no entiende que la mano de Jehová la hizo?
Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the LORD hath wrought this?
Who doesn’t know that in all these, the LORD’s hand has done this,
Em Sua mão, está a vida de todo ser vivo e o fôlego de toda humanidade.
En su mano está el alma de todo viviente, y el espíritu de toda carne humana.
In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind.
in whose hand is the life of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind?
O ouvido não examina as palavras como o paladar prova a comida?
Ciertamente el oído distingue las palabras, y el paladar gusta las viandas.
Doth not the ear try words? and the mouth taste his meat?
Doesn’t the ear try words, even as the palate tastes its food?
Com os homens velhos, há sabedoria; com o passar dos dias, há entendimento.
En los viejos está la ciencia, y en la larga edad la inteligencia.
With the ancient is wisdom; and in length of days understanding.
With aged men is wisdom, in length of days understanding.
Com Deus, estão a sabedoria e o poder; Ele tem conselho e entendimento.
Con Dios está la sabiduría y la fortaleza; suyo es el consejo y la inteligencia.
With him is wisdom and strength, he hath counsel and understanding.
“With God is wisdom and might. He has counsel and understanding.
Vê, Ele destrói algo e aquilo não pode ser construído novamente; se Ele aprisiona alguém, não pode ser liberto.
He aquí, él derribará, y no será edificado: encerrará al hombre, y no habrá quien le abra.
Behold, he breaketh down, and it cannot be built again: he shutteth up a man, and there can be no opening.
Behold, he breaks down, and it can’t be built again. He imprisons a man, and there can be no release.
Vê, se Ele retém as águas, elas se secam; e, se Ele as solta, elas inundam a terra.
He aquí, él detendrá las aguas, y se secarán; él las enviará, y destruirán la tierra.
Behold, he withholdeth the waters, and they dry up: also he sendeth them out, and they overturn the earth.
Behold, he withholds the waters, and they dry up. Again, he sends them out, and they overturn the earth.
Com Ele, estão a força e a sabedoria; as pessoas que são enganadas e o enganador, ambas pertencem a Ele.
Con él está la fortaleza y la existencia; suyo es el que yerra, y el que hace errar.
With him is strength and wisdom: the deceived and the deceiver are his.
With him is strength and wisdom. The deceived and the deceiver are his.
Ele conduz os conselheiros para longe, entristecidos, com os pés descalços; Ele torna juízes em tolos.
El hace andar á los consejeros desnudos de consejo, y hace enloquecer á los jueces.
He leadeth counsellors away spoiled, and maketh the judges fools.
He leads counselors away stripped. He makes judges fools.
Ele toma a autoridade dos reis; Ele enrola um pano nas cinturas deles.
El suelta la atadura de los tiranos, y ata el cinto á sus lomos.
He looseth the bond of kings, and girdeth their loins with a girdle.
He loosens the bond of kings. He binds their waist with a belt.
Ele conduz os sacerdotes para longe, entristecidos, com os pés descalços e derruba pessoas poderosas.
El lleva despojados á los príncipes, y trastorna á los poderosos.
He leadeth princes away spoiled, and overthroweth the mighty.
He leads priests away stripped, and overthrows the mighty.
Ele remove o discurso daqueles que são confiados a falar e tira o entendimento dos anciãos.
El impide el labio á los que dicen verdad, y quita á los ancianos el consejo.
He removeth away the speech of the trusty, and taketh away the understanding of the aged.
He removes the speech of those who are trusted, and takes away the understanding of the elders.
Ele derrama desprezo sobre os príncipes e afrouxa o cinto dos poderosos.
El derrama menosprecio sobre los príncipes, y enflaquece la fuerza de los esforzados.
He poureth contempt upon princes, and weakeneth the strength of the mighty.
He pours contempt on princes, and loosens the belt of the strong.
Ele revela coisas profundas da escuridão e traz à luz as sombras de onde as pessoas estão mortas.

He discovereth deep things out of darkness, and bringeth out to light the shadow of death.

Ele tira o entendimento dos líderes do povo da Terra; e os faz vaguear por um deserto, onde não existe caminho.
El quita el seso de las cabezas del pueblo de la tierra, y háceles que se pierdan vagueando sin camino:
He taketh away the heart of the chief of the people of the earth, and causeth them to wander in a wilderness where there is no way.
He takes away understanding from the chiefs of the people of the earth, and causes them to wander in a wilderness where there is no way.
Eles apalpam no escuro, sem luz, e Ele os faz cambalear como um bêbado.
Van á tientas como en tinieblas y sin luz, y los hace errar como borrachos.
They grope in the dark without light, and he maketh them to stagger like a drunken man.
