HE AQUÍ que todas estas cosas han visto mis ojos, y oído y entendido de por sí mis oídos.
Lo, mine eye hath seen all this, mine ear hath heard and understood it.

Quanto sapete voi, so anch'io; Io non son da men di voi.
Como vosotros lo sabéis, lo sé yo; no soy menos que vosotros.
What ye know, the same do I know also: I am not inferior unto you.

E pure io parlerò all'Onnipotente; Io avrò a grado di venire a ragione con lui.
Mas yo hablaría con el Todopoderoso, y querría razonar con Dios.
Surely I would speak to the Almighty, and I desire to reason with God.

Ma certo, quant'è a voi, voi siete rappezzatori di menzogna; Voi siete medici da nulla tutti quanti.

Oh! vi taceste pur del tutto, Ciò vi sarebbe reputato in saviezza!

Egli del certo vi arguirà, Se di nascosto avete riguardo alla qualità delle persone.
El os reprochará de seguro, si solapadamente hacéis acepción de personas.
He will surely reprove you, if ye do secretly accept persons.

La sua altezza non vi sgomenterà ella? Lo spavento di lui non vi caderà egli addosso?

Chi è colui che voglia litigar meco? Conciossiachè di presente mi tacerò, e spirerò.
¿Quién es el que pleiteará conmigo? porque si ahora yo callara, fenecería.
Who is he that will plead with me? for now, if I hold my tongue, I shall give up the ghost.
Who is he who will contend with me? For then I would hold my peace and give up the spirit.
Sol non farmi due cose, Ed allora io non mi nasconderò dal tuo cospetto.

Che tu mi sentenzii a pene amare, E mi faccia eredar l'iniquità della mia fanciullezza!
¿Por qué escribes contra mí amarguras, y me haces cargo de los pecados de mi mocedad?
For thou writest bitter things against me, and makest me to possess the iniquities of my youth.
