HE AQUÍ que todas estas cosas han visto mis ojos, y oído y entendido de por sí mis oídos.

Ce que vous savez, je le sais aussi ; je ne vous suis pas inférieur.

Mais je veux parler au Tout-Puissant, je veux plaider auprès de Dieu.

Tiendrez-vous des discours injustes en faveur de Dieu ? Et, pour le défendre, direz-vous des mensonges ?
¿Habéis de hablar iniquidad por Dios? ¿habéis de hablar por él engaño?
Will ye speak wickedly for God? and talk deceitfully for him?
Will you speak unrighteously for God, and talk deceitfully for him?
Ferez-vous acception de personnes en sa faveur ? Prétendrez-vous plaider pour Dieu ?

Vous en prendra-t-il bien, s’il vous sonde ? Comme on trompe un homme, le tromperez-vous ?
¿Sería bueno que él os escudriñase? ¿os burlaréis de él como quien se burla de algún hombre?
Is it good that he should search you out? or as one man mocketh another, do ye so mock him?

Certainement, il vous reprendra, si secrètement vous faites acception de personnes.
El os reprochará de seguro, si solapadamente hacéis acepción de personas.
He will surely reprove you, if ye do secretly accept persons.

Sa majesté ne vous épouvantera-t-elle point, et sa frayeur ne tombera-t-elle pas sur vous ?
De cierto su alteza os había de espantar, y su pavor había de caer sobre vosotros.

Voici, j’ai préparé ma cause. Je sais que je serai justifié.
He aquí ahora, si yo me apercibiere á juicio, sé que seré justificado.
Behold now, I have ordered my cause; I know that I shall be justified.
See now, I have set my cause in order. I know that I am righteous.
Quelqu’un plaidera-t-il contre moi ? Alors je me tais, et je meurs.
¿Quién es el que pleiteará conmigo? porque si ahora yo callara, fenecería.
Who is he that will plead with me? for now, if I hold my tongue, I shall give up the ghost.
Who is he who will contend with me? For then I would hold my peace and give up the spirit.
Seulement, ne me fais point deux choses, et alors je ne me cacherai pas loin de ta face :
A lo menos dos cosas no hagas conmigo; entonces no me esconderé de tu rostro:
Only do not two things unto me: then will I not hide myself from thee.

Éloigne ta main de moi, et que ta terreur ne me trouble point.
Aparta de mí tu mano, y no me asombre tu terror.
Withdraw thine hand far from me: and let not thy dread make me afraid.

Puis, appelle-moi et je répondrai. Ou bien, que je parle, et tu me répliqueras.

Wilt thou break a leaf driven to and fro? and wilt thou pursue the dry stubble?
Will you harass a driven leaf? Will you pursue the dry stubble?
Pour que tu écrives contre moi d’amers arrêts, et que tu me fasses recevoir la peine des péchés de ma jeunesse ;
¿Por qué escribes contra mí amarguras, y me haces cargo de los pecados de mi mocedad?
For thou writest bitter things against me, and makest me to possess the iniquities of my youth.
For you write bitter things against me, and make me inherit the iniquities of my youth.
Pour que tu mettes mes pieds dans des ceps, que tu épies tous mes chemins, et que tu traces une limite autour de la plante de mes pieds ;
Pones además mis pies en el cepo, y guardas todos mis caminos, imprimiéndolo á las raíces de mis pies.
Thou puttest my feet also in the stocks, and lookest narrowly unto all my paths; thou settest a print upon the heels of my feet.

Et ce corps se détruit comme du bois vermoulu, comme un vêtement que la teigne a rongé.
Y el cuerpo mío se va gastando como de carcoma, como vestido que se come de polilla.
And he, as a rotten thing, consumeth, as a garment that is moth eaten.
