Brevísima vida has concedido al hombre; no le das más que unos meses. No puede tener ni una pequeña prórroga de vida.

Ciertamente sus días están determinados, y el número de sus meses está cerca de ti: tú le pusiste términos, de los cuales no pasará.

Seeing his days are determined, the number of his months are with thee, thou hast appointed his bounds that he cannot pass;
