Se io parlo, il mio dolore non però si rallenta; E se io resto di parlare, quanto se ne partirà egli da me?

Si hablo, mi dolor no cesa; y si dejo de hablar, no se aparta de mí.

Though I speak, my grief is not asswaged: and though I forbear, what am I eased?
