Mi espíritu está quebrado, mis días han terminado, el sepulcro está listo para mí.
MI ALIENTO está corrompido, acórtanse mis días, y me está aparejado el sepulcro.
My breath is corrupt, my days are extinct, the graves are ready for me.
“My spirit is consumed. My days are extinct and the grave is ready for me.
En verdad, los que se burlan, están a mi alrededor, y mis ojos continúan viendo su amarga risa.
No hay conmigo sino escarnecedores, en cuya acrimonia se detienen mis ojos.
Are there not mockers with me? and doth not mine eye continue in their provocation?
Surely there are mockers with me. My eye dwells on their provocation.
Pon ahora tu fiador; porque no hay otro que ponga su mano en la mía.
Pon ahora, dame fianza para litigar contigo: ¿quién tocará ahora mi mano?
Lay down now, put me in a surety with thee; who is he that will strike hands with me?
“Now give a pledge. Be collateral for me with yourself. Who is there who will strike hands with me?
Guardaste sus corazones de la sabiduría; por esta razón no les darás honor.
Porque á éstos has tú escondido su corazón de inteligencia: por tanto, no los ensalzarás.
For thou hast hid their heart from understanding: therefore shalt thou not exalt them.
For you have hidden their heart from understanding, therefore you will not exalt them.
En cuanto al que es falso a su amigo por una recompensa, la luz se cortará de los ojos de sus hijos.
El que denuncia lisonjas á sus prójimos, los ojos de sus hijos desfallezcan.
He that speaketh flattery to his friends, even the eyes of his children shall fail.
He who denounces his friends for plunder, even the eyes of his children will fail.
Me ha hecho vergüenza a los pueblos; y que me escupan en la cara.
El me ha puesto por parábola de pueblos, y delante de ellos he sido como tamboril.
He hath made me also a byword of the people; and aforetime I was as a tabret.
“But he has made me a byword of the people. They spit in my face.
Mis ojos se han oscurecido debido a mi dolor, y todo mi cuerpo es como una sombra.
Y mis ojos se oscurecieron de desabrimiento, y mis pensamientos todos son como sombra.
Mine eye also is dim by reason of sorrow, and all my members are as a shadow.

Los rectos se sorprenden de esto, y el que no ha hecho nada malo se levantará contra él hipócrita.
Los rectos se maravillarán de esto, y el inocente se levantará contra el hipócrita.
Upright men shall be astonied at this, and the innocent shall stir up himself against the hypocrite.
Upright men will be astonished at this. The innocent will stir himself up against the godless.
Todavía los rectos mantendrán su camino, y el que tiene las manos limpias obtiene nuevas fuerzas.
No obstante, proseguirá el justo su camino, y el limpio de manos aumentará la fuerza.
The righteous also shall hold on his way, and he that hath clean hands shall be stronger and stronger.
Yet the righteous will hold to his way. He who has clean hands will grow stronger and stronger.
Pero regresen, ahora, todos ustedes, vengan; y no hallaré en ustedes a un hombre sabio.
Mas volved todos vosotros, y venid ahora, que no hallaré entre vosotros sabio.
But as for you all, do ye return, and come now: for I cannot find one wise man among you.

Mis días han pasado, mis propósitos se han roto, incluso los deseos de mi corazón.
Pasáronse mis días, fueron arrancados mis pensamientos, los designios de mi corazón.

They change the night into day: the light is short because of darkness.

Si estoy esperando el sepulcro como mi casa, si he hecho mi cama en la oscuridad;
Si yo espero, el sepulcro es mi casa: haré mi cama en las tinieblas.
If I wait, the grave is mine house: I have made my bed in the darkness.
If I look for Sheol as my house, if I have spread my couch in the darkness,
Si digo al sepulcro: Tú eres mi padre; y al gusano, mi madre y mi hermana;
A la huesa tengo dicho: Mi padre eres tú; á los gusanos: Mi madre y mi hermana.
I have said to corruption, Thou art my father: to the worm, Thou art my mother, and my sister.
if I have said to corruption, ‘You are my father,’ and to the worm, ‘My mother,’ and ‘My sister,’
¿Dónde está mi esperanza? ¿Y quién verá mi deseo?
¿Dónde pues estará ahora mi esperanza? y mi esperanza ¿quién la verá?
And where is now my hope? as for my hope, who shall see it?
where then is my hope? As for my hope, who will see it?
¿Bajarán conmigo al inframundo? ¿Descansaremos juntos en polvo?
A los rincones de la huesa descenderán, y juntamente descansarán en el polvo.
They shall go down to the bars of the pit, when our rest together is in the dust.
Shall it go down with me to the gates of Sheol, or descend together into the dust?”
