MI ALIENTO está corrompido, acórtanse mis días, y me está aparejado el sepulcro.
My breath is corrupt, my days are extinct, the graves are ready for me.
“My spirit is consumed. My days are extinct and the grave is ready for me.
Estou cercado de pessoas que zombam de mim e sou obrigado a olhar os seus desaforos.
No hay conmigo sino escarnecedores, en cuya acrimonia se detienen mis ojos.
Are there not mockers with me? and doth not mine eye continue in their provocation?
Surely there are mockers with me. My eye dwells on their provocation.
“Ó Deus, por favor, só o Senhor pode garantir o meu livramento. Quem mais pode ser meu fiador?
Pon ahora, dame fianza para litigar contigo: ¿quién tocará ahora mi mano?
Lay down now, put me in a surety with thee; who is he that will strike hands with me?
“Now give a pledge. Be collateral for me with yourself. Who is there who will strike hands with me?
O Senhor fechou a mente deles para o entendimento. Não permita que esse falso julgamento destrua a verdade!
Porque á éstos has tú escondido su corazón de inteligencia: por tanto, no los ensalzarás.
For thou hast hid their heart from understanding: therefore shalt thou not exalt them.
For you have hidden their heart from understanding, therefore you will not exalt them.
Se alguém denuncia seus amigos por recompensa, que fiquem cegos os seus filhos.
El que denuncia lisonjas á sus prójimos, los ojos de sus hijos desfallezcan.
He that speaketh flattery to his friends, even the eyes of his children shall fail.
He who denounces his friends for plunder, even the eyes of his children will fail.
“Deus me transformou em motivo de riso e zombaria para o povo; eu me tornei um desprezado, em cujo rosto os outros cospem.
El me ha puesto por parábola de pueblos, y delante de ellos he sido como tamboril.
He hath made me also a byword of the people; and aforetime I was as a tabret.
“But he has made me a byword of the people. They spit in my face.
Por isso, chorei tanto que mal consigo enxergar. Já não sou nem sombra do que era antes, a minha vida se acaba a cada dia que passa.
Y mis ojos se oscurecieron de desabrimiento, y mis pensamientos todos son como sombra.
Mine eye also is dim by reason of sorrow, and all my members are as a shadow.

Os justos ficam espantados ao ver o meu estado, e os inocentes se levantam contra o perverso.
Los rectos se maravillarán de esto, y el inocente se levantará contra el hipócrita.
Upright men shall be astonied at this, and the innocent shall stir up himself against the hypocrite.
Upright men will be astonished at this. The innocent will stir himself up against the godless.
Mas o justo seguirá firme o seu caminho, e os homens de mãos puras se tornarão cada vez mais poderosos.
No obstante, proseguirá el justo su camino, y el limpio de manos aumentará la fuerza.
The righteous also shall hold on his way, and he that hath clean hands shall be stronger and stronger.
Yet the righteous will hold to his way. He who has clean hands will grow stronger and stronger.
“Por isso, venham todos vocês, não existe um sábio entre vocês, capaz de falar e entender a verdade.
Mas volved todos vosotros, y venid ahora, que no hallaré entre vosotros sabio.
But as for you all, do ye return, and come now: for I cannot find one wise man among you.
But as for you all, come back. I will not find a wise man among you.
A minha vida ficou para trás, os meus planos não se realizaram e meus desejos não se cumpriram.

onde está a minha esperança? Há alguém que possa ver a esperança para mim?
¿Dónde pues estará ahora mi esperanza? y mi esperanza ¿quién la verá?
And where is now my hope? as for my hope, who shall see it?

Descerá a esperança às portas da sepultura? Descansaremos juntos no pó?”
A los rincones de la huesa descenderán, y juntamente descansarán en el polvo.
They shall go down to the bars of the pit, when our rest together is in the dust.
Shall it go down with me to the gates of Sheol, or descend together into the dust?”
