Y RESPONDIÓ Bildad Suhita, y dijo:
Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said,

Jusqu'à quand ferez-vous la chasse aux mots ? Soyez raisonnables, ensuite nous parlerons.
¿Cuándo pondréis fin á las palabras? Entended, y después hablemos.
How long will it be ere ye make an end of words? mark, and afterwards we will speak.
“How long will you hunt for words? Consider, and afterwards we will speak.
Pourquoi nous considère-t-on comme des bêtes ? Pourquoi sommes-nous stupides, à vos yeux ?
¿Por qué somos tenidos por bestias, y en vuestros ojos somos viles?
Wherefore are we counted as beasts, and reputed vile in your sight?
Why are we counted as animals, which have become unclean in your sight?
Il se déchire lui-même dans sa colère ! Est-ce qu'à cause de toi la terre sera abandonnée, Et le rocher transporté hors de sa place ?
Oh tú, que despedazas tu alma con tu furor, ¿será dejada la tierra por tu causa, y serán traspasadas de su lugar las peñas?
He teareth himself in his anger: shall the earth be forsaken for thee? and shall the rock be removed out of his place?
You who tear yourself in your anger, will the earth be forsaken for you? Or will the rock be removed out of its place?
Oui, la lumière des méchants s'éteindra, La flamme de son feu ne brillera pas.
Ciertamente la luz de los impíos será apagada, y no resplandecerá la centella de su fuego.
Yea, the light of the wicked shall be put out, and the spark of his fire shall not shine.
“Yes, the light of the wicked will be put out. The spark of his fire won’t shine.
La lumière s'est obscurcie dans sa tente, Et sa lampe s'éteindra au-dessus de lui.
La luz se oscurecerá en su tienda, y apagaráse sobre él su lámpara.
The light shall be dark in his tabernacle, and his candle shall be put out with him.
The light will be dark in his tent. His lamp above him will be put out.
Son allure si ferme devient embarrassée, Son propre conseil le fait tomber.
Los pasos de su pujanza serán acortados, y precipitarálo su mismo consejo.
The steps of his strength shall be straitened, and his own counsel shall cast him down.
The steps of his strength will be shortened. His own counsel will cast him down.
Car ses pieds s'engagent dans un filet, Il marche sur des rets.
Porque red será echada en sus pies, y sobre red andará.
For he is cast into a net by his own feet, and he walketh upon a snare.
For he is cast into a net by his own feet, and he wanders into its mesh.
Le piège le prend au talon, Le filet s'empare de lui.
Lazo prenderá su calcañar: afirmaráse la trampa contra él.
The gin shall take him by the heel, and the robber shall prevail against him.
A snare will take him by the heel. A trap will catch him.
Une corde est cachée pour lui dans la terre, Une trappe sur le sentier.
Su cuerda está escondida en la tierra, y su torzuelo sobre la senda.
The snare is laid for him in the ground, and a trap for him in the way.
A noose is hidden for him in the ground, a trap for him on the path.
De toutes parts des terreurs l'épouvantent Et le poursuivent pas à pas.
De todas partes lo asombrarán temores, y haránle huir desconcertado.
Terrors shall make him afraid on every side, and shall drive him to his feet.
Terrors will make him afraid on every side, and will chase him at his heels.
Ses forces sont détruites par la faim, Et la ruine veille à son côté !
Su fuerza será hambrienta, y á su lado estará aparejado quebrantamiento.
His strength shall be hungerbitten, and destruction shall be ready at his side.
His strength will be famished. Calamity will be ready at his side.
Sa chair est dévorée morceau après morceau, Ses membres sont dévorés par le premier-né de la mort.
El primogénito de la muerte comerá los ramos de su piel, y devorará sus miembros.
It shall devour the strength of his skin: even the firstborn of death shall devour his strength.
The members of his body will be devoured. The firstborn of death will devour his members.
Il est arraché de sa tente en laquelle il se confiait, Et traîné vers le roi des épouvantements.
Su confianza será arrancada de su tienda, y harále esto llevar al rey de los espantos.
His confidence shall be rooted out of his tabernacle, and it shall bring him to the king of terrors.
He will be rooted out of the security of his tent. He will be brought to the king of terrors.
Dans sa tente habiteront d'autres que les siens, Du soufre sera semé sur sa demeure.
En su tienda morará como si no fuese suya: piedra azufre será esparcida sobre su morada.
It shall dwell in his tabernacle, because it is none of his: brimstone shall be scattered upon his habitation.
There will dwell in his tent that which is none of his. Sulfur will be scattered on his habitation.
En bas, ses racines se dessèchent ; En haut, ses branches se fanent.
Abajo se secarán sus raíces, y arriba serán cortadas sus ramas.
His roots shall be dried up beneath, and above shall his branch be cut off.

Sa mémoire a disparu de la terre, On ne parle plus de lui nulle part ;
Su memoria perecerá de la tierra, y no tendrá nombre por las calles.
His remembrance shall perish from the earth, and he shall have no name in the street.

On le repousse de la lumière dans les ténèbres, On l'expulse loin du monde.
De la luz será lanzado á las tinieblas, y echado fuera del mundo.
He shall be driven from light into darkness, and chased out of the world.

Il n'a, parmi son peuple, ni rejeton, ni descendant, Ni survivant dans ses campements.
No tendrá hijo ni nieto en su pueblo, ni quien le suceda en sus moradas.
He shall neither have son nor nephew among his people, nor any remaining in his dwellings.
He will have neither son nor grandson among his people, nor any remaining where he lived.
Son jour remplit d'effroi les habitants de l'occident Et fait frissonner ceux de l'orient.
Sobre su día se espantarán los por venir, como ocupó el pavor á los que fueron antes.
They that come after him shall be astonied at his day, as they that went before were affrighted.
Those who come after will be astonished at his day, as those who went before were frightened.
Il n'en va pas autrement aux demeures de l'impie, Au séjour de celui qui ne connaît pas Dieu.
Ciertamente tales son las moradas del impío, y este será el lugar del que no conoció á Dios.
Surely such are the dwellings of the wicked, and this is the place of him that knoweth not God.
Surely such are the dwellings of the unrighteous. This is the place of him who doesn’t know God.”
