Fino a quando non metterete fine a' ragionamenti? Intendete prima, e poi parleremo insieme.
¿Cuándo pondréis fin á las palabras? Entended, y después hablemos.
How long will it be ere ye make an end of words? mark, and afterwards we will speak.
“How long will you hunt for words? Consider, and afterwards we will speak.
Perchè siamo noi riputati per bestie? E perchè ci avete voi a schifo?
¿Por qué somos tenidos por bestias, y en vuestros ojos somos viles?
Wherefore are we counted as beasts, and reputed vile in your sight?
Why are we counted as animals, which have become unclean in your sight?
O tu, che laceri l'anima tua nel tuo cruccio, Sarà la terra abbandonata per cagion tua, E saranno le roccie trasportate dal luogo loro?
Oh tú, que despedazas tu alma con tu furor, ¿será dejada la tierra por tu causa, y serán traspasadas de su lugar las peñas?
He teareth himself in his anger: shall the earth be forsaken for thee? and shall the rock be removed out of his place?
You who tear yourself in your anger, will the earth be forsaken for you? Or will the rock be removed out of its place?
Sì, la luce degli empi sarà spenta, E niuna favilla del fuoco loro rilucerà.
Ciertamente la luz de los impíos será apagada, y no resplandecerá la centella de su fuego.
Yea, the light of the wicked shall be put out, and the spark of his fire shall not shine.
“Yes, the light of the wicked will be put out. The spark of his fire won’t shine.
La luce sarà oscurata nel lor tabernacolo. E la lor lampana sarà spenta intorno a loro.
La luz se oscurecerá en su tienda, y apagaráse sobre él su lámpara.
The light shall be dark in his tabernacle, and his candle shall be put out with him.
The light will be dark in his tent. His lamp above him will be put out.
I lor fieri passi saran ristretti, E il lor proprio consiglio li traboccherà abbasso;
Los pasos de su pujanza serán acortados, y precipitarálo su mismo consejo.
The steps of his strength shall be straitened, and his own counsel shall cast him down.
The steps of his strength will be shortened. His own counsel will cast him down.
Perciocchè essi si gitteranno nel laccio co' piedi loro, E cammineranno sopra la rete.
Porque red será echada en sus pies, y sobre red andará.
For he is cast into a net by his own feet, and he walketh upon a snare.
For he is cast into a net by his own feet, and he wanders into its mesh.
Il laccio prenderà loro il calcagno, Il ladrone farà loro forza e violenza.
Lazo prenderá su calcañar: afirmaráse la trampa contra él.
The gin shall take him by the heel, and the robber shall prevail against him.
A snare will take him by the heel. A trap will catch him.
La fune sarà loro nascosta in terra, E la trappola in sul sentiero.
Su cuerda está escondida en la tierra, y su torzuelo sobre la senda.
The snare is laid for him in the ground, and a trap for him in the way.
A noose is hidden for him in the ground, a trap for him on the path.
Spaventi li conturberanno d'ogn'intorno, E li faranno fuggire in rotta.
De todas partes lo asombrarán temores, y haránle huir desconcertado.
Terrors shall make him afraid on every side, and shall drive him to his feet.
Terrors will make him afraid on every side, and will chase him at his heels.
La lor forza sarà affamata, E la calamità sarà loro apparecchiata allato.
Su fuerza será hambrienta, y á su lado estará aparejado quebrantamiento.
His strength shall be hungerbitten, and destruction shall be ready at his side.
His strength will be famished. Calamity will be ready at his side.
Il primogenito della morte divorerà le membra della lor pelle; Divorerà le membra loro.
El primogénito de la muerte comerá los ramos de su piel, y devorará sus miembros.
It shall devour the strength of his skin: even the firstborn of death shall devour his strength.
The members of his body will be devoured. The firstborn of death will devour his members.
La lor confidanza sarà divelta dal lor tabernacolo; E ciò li farà camminare al re degli spaventi.
Su confianza será arrancada de su tienda, y harále esto llevar al rey de los espantos.
His confidence shall be rooted out of his tabernacle, and it shall bring him to the king of terrors.
He will be rooted out of the security of his tent. He will be brought to the king of terrors.
Abiteranno ne' lor tabernacoli che non saranno più loro; Ei si spargerà del solfo in su le loro stanze.
En su tienda morará como si no fuese suya: piedra azufre será esparcida sobre su morada.
It shall dwell in his tabernacle, because it is none of his: brimstone shall be scattered upon his habitation.
There will dwell in his tent that which is none of his. Sulfur will be scattered on his habitation.
Disotto le lor radici si seccheranno, E disopra i lor rami saranno tagliati.
Abajo se secarán sus raíces, y arriba serán cortadas sus ramas.
His roots shall be dried up beneath, and above shall his branch be cut off.
His roots will be dried up beneath. His branch will be cut off above.
La lor memoria perirà d'in su la terra, E non avranno nome alcuno sopra le piazze.
Su memoria perecerá de la tierra, y no tendrá nombre por las calles.
His remembrance shall perish from the earth, and he shall have no name in the street.

Saranno spinti dalla luce nelle tenebre, E saranno cacciati fuor del mondo.
De la luz será lanzado á las tinieblas, y echado fuera del mundo.
He shall be driven from light into darkness, and chased out of the world.
He will be driven from light into darkness, and chased out of the world.
Non avranno figliuoli, nè nipoti fra il lor popolo, Nè alcuno che sopravviva loro nelle loro abitazioni.
No tendrá hijo ni nieto en su pueblo, ni quien le suceda en sus moradas.
He shall neither have son nor nephew among his people, nor any remaining in his dwellings.
He will have neither son nor grandson among his people, nor any remaining where he lived.
La posterità stupirà del lor giorno, Come gli antenati ne avranno avuto orrore.
Sobre su día se espantarán los por venir, como ocupó el pavor á los que fueron antes.
They that come after him shall be astonied at his day, as they that went before were affrighted.
Those who come after will be astonished at his day, as those who went before were frightened.
Certo tali saranno gli abitacoli de' perversi, E tal sarà il luogo di coloro che non conoscono Iddio.
Ciertamente tales son las moradas del impío, y este será el lugar del que no conoció á Dios.
Surely such are the dwellings of the wicked, and this is the place of him that knoweth not God.
Surely such are the dwellings of the unrighteous. This is the place of him who doesn’t know God.”
