Quand donc te reposeras-tu ? contiens-toi, afin que nous parlions aussi.
¿Cuándo pondréis fin á las palabras? Entended, y después hablemos.
How long will it be ere ye make an end of words? mark, and afterwards we will speak.
“How long will you hunt for words? Consider, and afterwards we will speak.
Pourquoi devant toi sommes-nous muets comme des quadrupèdes ?
¿Por qué somos tenidos por bestias, y en vuestros ojos somos viles?
Wherefore are we counted as beasts, and reputed vile in your sight?
Why are we counted as animals, which have become unclean in your sight?
Tu te mets en colère. Qu'y a-t-il ? Si tu meurs, la terre sous le ciel sera-t-elle inhabitée, et les montagnes s'écrouleront-elles jusqu'à la base ?
Oh tú, que despedazas tu alma con tu furor, ¿será dejada la tierra por tu causa, y serán traspasadas de su lugar las peñas?
He teareth himself in his anger: shall the earth be forsaken for thee? and shall the rock be removed out of his place?
You who tear yourself in your anger, will the earth be forsaken for you? Or will the rock be removed out of its place?
La lumière des impies s'éteindra, et d'eux il ne sortira point de flamme.
Ciertamente la luz de los impíos será apagada, y no resplandecerá la centella de su fuego.
Yea, the light of the wicked shall be put out, and the spark of his fire shall not shine.
“Yes, the light of the wicked will be put out. The spark of his fire won’t shine.
La lumière est ténèbres en la demeure de l'impie ; la lampe qui l'éclaire s'éteindra.
La luz se oscurecerá en su tienda, y apagaráse sobre él su lámpara.
The light shall be dark in his tabernacle, and his candle shall be put out with him.
The light will be dark in his tent. His lamp above him will be put out.
Que les petits soient mis en possession de ses richesses ; que ces conseils soient renversés.
Los pasos de su pujanza serán acortados, y precipitarálo su mismo consejo.
The steps of his strength shall be straitened, and his own counsel shall cast him down.
The steps of his strength will be shortened. His own counsel will cast him down.
Son pied s'est pris au piège, que le filet l'enveloppe tout entier.
Porque red será echada en sus pies, y sobre red andará.
For he is cast into a net by his own feet, and he walketh upon a snare.
For he is cast into a net by his own feet, and he wanders into its mesh.
Qu' il le retienne, et ceux qui ont soif de l'attaquer prendront courage.
Lazo prenderá su calcañar: afirmaráse la trampa contra él.
The gin shall take him by the heel, and the robber shall prevail against him.
A snare will take him by the heel. A trap will catch him.
Le câble était caché en terre, il devait le heurter dans le chemin.
Su cuerda está escondida en la tierra, y su torzuelo sobre la senda.
The snare is laid for him in the ground, and a trap for him in the way.
A noose is hidden for him in the ground, a trap for him on the path.
Puissent les douleurs l'investir et le perdre, qu'elles l'entourent en foule à chacun de ses pas ;
De todas partes lo asombrarán temores, y haránle huir desconcertado.
Terrors shall make him afraid on every side, and shall drive him to his feet.
Terrors will make him afraid on every side, and will chase him at his heels.
Qu'il sente les angoisses de la faim ; une chute extraordinaire lui a été réservée.
Su fuerza será hambrienta, y á su lado estará aparejado quebrantamiento.
His strength shall be hungerbitten, and destruction shall be ready at his side.
His strength will be famished. Calamity will be ready at his side.
Que les doigts de ses pieds soient rongés ; la mort dévorera de lui tout ce qu'elle trouvera mûr pour elle.
El primogénito de la muerte comerá los ramos de su piel, y devorará sus miembros.
It shall devour the strength of his skin: even the firstborn of death shall devour his strength.
The members of his body will be devoured. The firstborn of death will devour his members.
Que la guérison fuie le toit qu'il habite, que la nécessité l'emprisonne comme s'il eût commis un crime contre le roi.
Su confianza será arrancada de su tienda, y harále esto llevar al rey de los espantos.
His confidence shall be rooted out of his tabernacle, and it shall bring him to the king of terrors.
He will be rooted out of the security of his tent. He will be brought to the king of terrors.
Dans sa nuit fatale il se sera vainement abrité sous sa tente ; tout ce qui fait sa gloire sera bouleversé par la foudre ;
En su tienda morará como si no fuese suya: piedra azufre será esparcida sobre su morada.
It shall dwell in his tabernacle, because it is none of his: brimstone shall be scattered upon his habitation.
There will dwell in his tent that which is none of his. Sulfur will be scattered on his habitation.
Au plus profond de la terre les racines de ses arbres sécheront ; à la surface sa maison tombera.
Abajo se secarán sus raíces, y arriba serán cortadas sus ramas.
His roots shall be dried up beneath, and above shall his branch be cut off.
His roots will be dried up beneath. His branch will be cut off above.
Que tout souvenir de lui périsse sur la terre, et son nom appartiendra à la face invisible de l'univers.
Su memoria perecerá de la tierra, y no tendrá nombre por las calles.
His remembrance shall perish from the earth, and he shall have no name in the street.
His memory will perish from the earth. He will have no name in the street.
Qu'il soit chassé de la lumière pour entrer dans les ténèbres.
De la luz será lanzado á las tinieblas, y echado fuera del mundo.
He shall be driven from light into darkness, and chased out of the world.
He will be driven from light into darkness, and chased out of the world.
Il sera inconnu à son peuple, et sa famille ne lui survivra pas sous la voûte du ciel. D'autres vivront des biens qu'il a eus ;
No tendrá hijo ni nieto en su pueblo, ni quien le suceda en sus moradas.
He shall neither have son nor nephew among his people, nor any remaining in his dwellings.
He will have neither son nor grandson among his people, nor any remaining where he lived.
à cause de lui finalement on gémira ; d'abord on aura été frappé d'étonnement.
Sobre su día se espantarán los por venir, como ocupó el pavor á los que fueron antes.
They that come after him shall be astonied at his day, as they that went before were affrighted.
Those who come after will be astonished at his day, as those who went before were frightened.
Tel est le sort des pervers ; ainsi s'écroule la maison de ceux qui ne connaissent pas le Seigneur.
Ciertamente tales son las moradas del impío, y este será el lugar del que no conoció á Dios.
Surely such are the dwellings of the wicked, and this is the place of him that knoweth not God.
Surely such are the dwellings of the unrighteous. This is the place of him who doesn’t know God.”
