Jusqu'à quand fatiguerez-vous mon âme et me tuerez-vous de vos discours ?
¿Hasta cuándo angustiaréis mi alma, y me moleréis con palabras?
How long will ye vex my soul, and break me in pieces with words?
“How long will you torment me, and crush me with words?
Sachez seulement que le Seigneur m'a traité de la sorte. Persuadez-moi, et ne vous attachez pas tant à me faire honte.
Ya me habéis vituperado diez veces: ¿no os avergonzáis de descomediros delante de mí?
These ten times have ye reproached me: ye are not ashamed that ye make yourselves strange to me.
You have reproached me ten times. You aren’t ashamed that you attack me.
En vérité, j'ai sans doute failli ; l'erreur réside avec moi. Dis-moi donc quelque chose que j'ignore, sans quoi je m'égarerai en mes réponses, et elles manqueront d'à propos.
Sea así que realmente haya yo errado, conmigo se quedará mi yerro.
And be it indeed that I have erred, mine error remaineth with myself.
If it is true that I have erred, my error remains with myself.
Cessez, car vous vous grandissez pour m'assaillir, et vous m'accablez d'outrages.
Mas si vosotros os engrandeciereis contra mí, y adujereis contra mí mi oprobio,
If indeed ye will magnify yourselves against me, and plead against me my reproach:

Mais ne perdez donc pas de vue que c'est le Seigneur qui m'a troublé, et qu'il a élevé contre moi ses murailles.
Sabed ahora que Dios me ha trastornado, y traído en derredor su red sobre mí.
Know now that God hath overthrown me, and hath compassed me with his net.
know now that God has subverted me, and has surrounded me with his net.
De vos injures je ne ferais que rire, et je ne dirais mot ; quand je crierais, je n'obtiendrais pas de jugement.
He aquí yo clamaré agravio, y no seré oído: daré voces, y no habrá juicio.
Behold, I cry out of wrong, but I am not heard: I cry aloud, but there is no judgment.
“Behold, I cry out of wrong, but I am not heard. I cry for help, but there is no justice.
Mais des remparts m'étreignent et je ne puis les traverser, et l'obscurité règne devant moi.
Cercó de vallado mi camino, y no pasaré; y sobre mis veredas puso tinieblas.
He hath fenced up my way that I cannot pass, and he hath set darkness in my paths.
He has walled up my way so that I can’t pass, and has set darkness in my paths.
Le Seigneur m'a ravi toute gloire, il a ôté la couronne que je portais sur la tête.
Hame despojado de mi gloria, y quitado la corona de mi cabeza.
He hath stripped me of my glory, and taken the crown from my head.

Il m'a tiraillé dans tous les sens et j'ai succombé ; il a abattu comme un arbre toute mon espérance.
Arruinóme por todos lados, y perezco; y ha hecho pasar mi esperanza como árbol arrancado.
He hath destroyed me on every side, and I am gone: and mine hope hath he removed like a tree.
He has broken me down on every side, and I am gone. He has plucked my hope up like a tree.
Il a déployé contre moi une colère terrible ; il m'a regardé comme un ennemi.
E hizo inflamar contra mí su furor, y contóme para sí entre sus enemigos.
He hath also kindled his wrath against me, and he counteth me unto him as one of his enemies.

Ses épreuves me sont venues toutes ensemble ; ses embuscades étaient placées sur toutes mes voies.
Vinieron sus ejércitos á una, y trillaron sobre mí su camino, y asentaron campo en derredor de mi tienda.
His troops come together, and raise up their way against me, and encamp round about my tabernacle.

Mes frères se sont éloignés ; ils m'ont préféré des inconnus ; mes amis n'ont eu aucune compassion.
Hizo alejar de mí mis hermanos, y positivamente se extrañaron de mí mis conocidos.
He hath put my brethren far from me, and mine acquaintance are verily estranged from me.
“He has put my brothers far from me. My acquaintances are wholly estranged from me.
Mes plus proches m'ont laissé sans soins ; et ceux qui savaient mon nom l'ont oublié.
Mis parientes se detuvieron, y mis conocidos se olvidaron de mí.
My kinsfolk have failed, and my familiar friends have forgotten me.
My relatives have gone away. My familiar friends have forgotten me.
Mes voisins, les servantes de ma maison ; je suis un étranger pour eux.
Los moradores de mi casa y mis criadas me tuvieron por extraño: forastero fuí yo en sus ojos.
They that dwell in mine house, and my maids, count me for a stranger: I am an alien in their sight.
Those who dwell in my house and my maids consider me a stranger. I am an alien in their sight.
J'ai appelé mon serviteur, il n'est point venu ; ma bouche est devenue suppliante.
Llamé á mi siervo, y no respondió; de mi propia boca le suplicaba.
I called my servant, and he gave me no answer; I intreated him with my mouth.
I call to my servant, and he gives me no answer. I beg him with my mouth.
J'ai imploré ma femme, j'ai demandé les fils de mes concubines en les flattant,
Mi aliento vino á ser extraño á mi mujer, aunque por los hijos de mis entrañas le rogaba.
My breath is strange to my wife, though I intreated for the children’s sake of mine own body.
My breath is offensive to my wife. I am loathsome to the children of my own mother.
Ils m'ont répudié pour toujours ; si je me relève, ils se récrient contre moi.
Aun los muchachos me menospreciaron: en levantándome, hablaban contra mí.
Yea, young children despised me; I arose, and they spake against me.
Even young children despise me. If I arise, they speak against me.
J'ai été pour eux un objet d'horreur pour ceux qui m'ont vu ; j'ai pour ennemis ceux que j'avais aimés.
Todos mis confidentes me aborrecieron; y los que yo amaba, se tornaron contra mí.
All my inward friends abhorred me: and they whom I loved are turned against me.
All my familiar friends abhor me. They whom I loved have turned against me.
Mes chairs sous ma peau pourrissent, mes os sont entre les dents qui les rongent.
Mi cuero y mi carne se pegaron á mis huesos; y he escapado con la piel de mis dientes.
My bone cleaveth to my skin and to my flesh, and I am escaped with the skin of my teeth.
My bones stick to my skin and to my flesh. I have escaped by the skin of my teeth.
Ayez pitié de moi, ayez pitié de moi, ô mes amis, car c'est la main du Seigneur qui m'a touché.
Oh vosotros mis amigos, tened compasión de mí, tened compasión de mí; porque la mano de Dios me ha tocado.
Have pity upon me, have pity upon me, O ye my friends; for the hand of God hath touched me.
“Have pity on me. Have pity on me, you my friends, for the hand of God has touched me.
Pourquoi me poursuivez-vous comme me poursuit le Seigneur ? Voulez-vous vous repaître de ma chair ?
¿Por qué me perseguís como Dios, y no os hartáis de mis carnes?
Why do ye persecute me as God, and are not satisfied with my flesh?

Qui donc écrira mes plaintes pour les déposer en un livre impérissable ?
¡Quién diese ahora que mis palabras fuesen escritas! ¡quién diese que se escribieran en un libro!
Oh that my words were now written! oh that they were printed in a book!
“Oh that my words were now written! Oh that they were inscribed in a book!
Qui les gravera au burin sur la pierre ou le plomb ?
¡Que con cincel de hierro y con plomo fuesen en piedra esculpidas para siempre!
That they were graven with an iron pen and lead in the rock for ever!
That with an iron pen and lead they were engraved in the rock forever!
Car je sais que de toute éternité existe celui qui doit me délivrer, et sur la terre
Yo sé que mi Redentor vive, y al fin se levantará sobre el polvo:
For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:
But as for me, I know that my Redeemer lives. In the end, he will stand upon the earth.
Faire revivre ma peau pour que je jouisse de ces choses...car c'est le Seigneur qui a fait ces choses
Y después de deshecha esta mi piel, aun he de ver en mi carne á Dios;
And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:
After my skin is destroyed, then I will see God in my flesh,
Qu'en moi-même je sais ; que mon œil a vues, et non l'œil d'autrui ; et qui déjà sont accomplies en mon sein.
Al cual yo tengo de ver por mí, y mis ojos lo verán, y no otro, aunque mis riñones se consuman dentro de mí.
Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me.
whom I, even I, will see on my side. My eyes will see, and not as a stranger. “My heart is consumed within me.
Et si vous dites : Quel langage tiendrons-nous devant lui ? quel sujet de discours trouverons-nous en sa personne ?
Mas debierais decir: ¿Por qué lo perseguimos? ya que la raíz del negocio en mí se halla.
But ye should say, Why persecute we him, seeing the root of the matter is found in me?
If you say, ‘How we will persecute him!’ because the root of the matter is found in me,
Prenez garde aux choses cachées ; songez que la colère tombera aussi sur les méchants ; et alors ils sentiront où est la matière dont ils sont formés.
Temed vosotros delante de la espada; porque sobreviene el furor de la espada á causa de las injusticias, para que sepáis que hay un juicio.
Be ye afraid of the sword: for wrath bringeth the punishments of the sword, that ye may know there is a judgment.
