Darauf muß ich antworten und kann nicht harren.
Por cierto mis pensamientos me hacen responder, y por tanto me apresuro.
Therefore do my thoughts cause me to answer, and for this I make haste.
“Therefore my thoughts answer me, even by reason of my haste that is in me.
Und will gerne horen, wer mir das soil strafen und tadeln; denn der Geist meines Verstandes soil fur mich antworten.
La reprensión de mi censura he oído, y háceme responder el espíritu de mi inteligencia.
I have heard the check of my reproach, and the spirit of my understanding causeth me to answer.
I have heard the reproof which puts me to shame. The spirit of my understanding answers me.
Weißt du nicht, daß es allezeit so gegangen ist, seit daß Menschen auf Erden gewesen sind;
¿No sabes esto que fué siempre, desde el tiempo que fué puesto el hombre sobre la tierra,
Knowest thou not this of old, since man was placed upon earth,

daß der Ruhm der Gottlosen stehet nicht lange, und die Freude des Heuchlers wahret einen Augenblick?

Si subiere su altivez hasta el cielo, y su cabeza tocare en las nubes,

so wird er doch zuletzt umkommen wie ein Kot, daß die, vor denen er ist angesehen, werden sagen: Wo ist er?

Erwird der Ottern Galle saugen, und die Zunge der Schlange wird ihn toten.
Veneno de áspides chupará; matarálo lengua de víbora.
He shall suck the poison of asps: the viper’s tongue shall slay him.

Er wird nicht sehen die Strome noch die Wasserbache, die mit Honig und Butter flieften.
No verá los arroyos, los ríos, los torrentes de miel y de manteca.

Erwird arbeiten und des nicht genietien; und seine Güter werden andern, daß er deren nicht froh wird.
Restituirá el trabajo conforme á la hacienda que tomó; y no tragará, ni gozará.
That which he laboured for shall he restore, and shall not swallow it down: according to his substance shall the restitution be, and he shall not rejoice therein.

Wenn er gleich die Fülle und genug hat, wird ihm doch angst werden; allerhand Mühe wird über ihn kommen.

In the fulness of his sufficiency he shall be in straits: every hand of the wicked shall come upon him.

When he is about to fill his belly, God shall cast the fury of his wrath upon him, and shall rain it upon him while he is eating.

Erwird fliehen vordem eisernen Harnisch, und der eherne Bogen wird ihn verjagen.
Huirá de las armas de hierro, y el arco de acero le atravesará.
He shall flee from the iron weapon, and the bow of steel shall strike him through.
He will flee from the iron weapon. The bronze arrow will strike him through.
Ein blofi Schwert wird durch ihn ausgehen, und des Schwerts Blitz, der ihm bitter sein wird, wird mit Schrecken uber ihn fahren.
Desenvainará y sacará saeta de su aljaba, y relumbrante pasará por su hiel: sobre él vendrán terrores.
It is drawn, and cometh out of the body; yea, the glittering sword cometh out of his gall: terrors are upon him.
He draws it out, and it comes out of his body. Yes, the glittering point comes out of his liver. Terrors are on him.

Todas tinieblas están guardadas para sus secretos: fuego no soplado lo devorará; su sucesor será quebrantado en su tienda.
All darkness shall be hid in his secret places: a fire not blown shall consume him; it shall go ill with him that is left in his tabernacle.
All darkness is laid up for his treasures. An unfanned fire will devour him. It will consume that which is left in his tent.
Der Himmel wird seine Missetat eroffnen, und die Erde wird sich wider ihn setzen.

Das Getreide in seinem Hause wird weggeführet werden, zerstreuet am Tage seines Zorns.
