Ce n'est point de cette manière que je voudrais, sur ces choses, discuter avec toi ; et vous tous vous ne vous y êtes pas mieux pris.
Por cierto mis pensamientos me hacen responder, y por tanto me apresuro.
Therefore do my thoughts cause me to answer, and for this I make haste.
“Therefore my thoughts answer me, even by reason of my haste that is in me.
Je mettrai à profit ce que m'enseigne ma retenue, et l'esprit d'intelligence répondra pour moi.
La reprensión de mi censura he oído, y háceme responder el espíritu de mi inteligencia.
I have heard the check of my reproach, and the spirit of my understanding causeth me to answer.
I have heard the reproof which puts me to shame. The spirit of my understanding answers me.
Est-ce que l'on ne sait pas ces choses depuis que l'homme a été placé sur la terre ?
¿No sabes esto que fué siempre, desde el tiempo que fué puesto el hombre sobre la tierra,
Knowest thou not this of old, since man was placed upon earth,
Don’t you know this from old time, since man was placed on earth,
Joie des méchants, chute extraordinaire ; plaisir des pervers, ruine.
Que la alegría de los impíos es breve, y el gozo del hipócrita por un momento?
That the triumphing of the wicked is short, and the joy of the hypocrite but for a moment?

Lors même que les présents de l'impie monteraient jusqu'au ciel, et que ses sacrifices atteindraient les nuées ;
Si subiere su altivez hasta el cielo, y su cabeza tocare en las nubes,
Though his excellency mount up to the heavens, and his head reach unto the clouds;
Though his height mount up to the heavens, and his head reach to the clouds,
Lors même qu'il serait soutenu par de forts étais, finalement il périra, et ceux qui le connaissaient diront : Où est-il ?
Con su estiércol perecerá para siempre: los que le hubieren visto, dirán: ¿Qué es de él?
Yet he shall perish for ever like his own dung: they which have seen him shall say, Where is he?

On ne le voit non plus qu'un songe évanoui, et il s'est envolé comme une vision nocturne.
Como sueño volará, y no será hallado: y disiparáse como visión nocturna.

L'œil a regardé et il n'est plus là, et le lieu qu'il habitait ne s'apercevra plus.
El ojo que le habrá visto, nunca más le verá; ni su lugar le echará más de ver.

Que ses fils meurent sous les coups des petits ; que ses mains ne connaissent plus que les douleurs.

His children shall seek to please the poor, and his hands shall restore their goods.

Ses os ont eu la force de la jeunesse, et ils sont couchés comme lui dans la terre.

Si la méchanceté est douce à sa bouche, il la cachera sous sa langue,

Mais elle ne lui profitera pas ; ce sera en ses entrailles un venin d'aspic.

Il vomira sa richesse injustement acquise, et un ange l'expulsera de la maison où il l'aura amassée.

Puisse-t-il s'allaiter du fiel des dragons ; puisse la langue des serpents le faire périr.
Veneno de áspides chupará; matarálo lengua de víbora.
He shall suck the poison of asps: the viper’s tongue shall slay him.
He will suck cobra venom. The viper’s tongue will kill him.
Qu'il ne voie plus de lait trait au pâturage ; qu'il ne mange ni beurre ni miel.
No verá los arroyos, los ríos, los torrentes de miel y de manteca.
He shall not see the rivers, the floods, the brooks of honey and butter.
He will not look at the rivers, the flowing streams of honey and butter.
Il s'est fatigué pour des choses vaines et insensées, pour des biens dont il ne goûtera pas, qui lui serviront comme un nerf desséché où il n'y a rien à manger ni à boire.
Restituirá el trabajo conforme á la hacienda que tomó; y no tragará, ni gozará.
That which he laboured for shall he restore, and shall not swallow it down: according to his substance shall the restitution be, and he shall not rejoice therein.
He will restore that for which he labored, and will not swallow it down. He will not rejoice according to the substance that he has gotten.
Car il a brisé les demeures d'une multitude d'hommes puissants ; il les a dépouillés de maisons qu'il n'avait point bâties.
Por cuanto quebrantó y desamparó á los pobres, robó casas, y no las edificó;
Because he hath oppressed and hath forsaken the poor; because he hath violently taken away an house which he builded not;
For he has oppressed and forsaken the poor. He has violently taken away a house, and he will not build it up.
Il ne trouvera pas son salut dans ses trésors ; il ne sera point sauvé par sa convoitise.
Por tanto, no sentirá él sosiego en su vientre, ni salvará nada de lo que codiciaba.
Surely he shall not feel quietness in his belly, he shall not save of that which he desired.
“Because he knew no quietness within him, he will not save anything of that in which he delights.
Jamais rien ne reste de ses aliments ; aussi ses richesses pour lui ne porteront pas de fleurs.
No quedó nada que no comiese: por tanto su bien no será durable.
There shall none of his meat be left; therefore shall no man look for his goods.
There was nothing left that he didn’t devour, therefore his prosperity will not endure.
A peine à son repas se sera-t-il bien gorgé, qu'il sera oppressé et torturé par toutes sortes d'étreintes.
Cuando fuere lleno su bastimento, tendrá angustia: las manos todas de los malvados vendrán sobre él.
In the fulness of his sufficiency he shall be in straits: every hand of the wicked shall come upon him.
In the fullness of his sufficiency, distress will overtake him. The hand of everyone who is in misery will come on him.
Si, n'importe comment, tu as rempli sa panse, c'est comme si tu avais fait tomber sur lui le poids de ta colère et des flots de douleurs.
Cuando se pusiere á henchir su vientre, Dios enviará sobre él el furor de su ira, y harála llover sobre él y sobre su comida.
When he is about to fill his belly, God shall cast the fury of his wrath upon him, and shall rain it upon him while he is eating.
When he is about to fill his belly, God will cast the fierceness of his wrath on him. It will rain on him while he is eating.
Il n'est point à l'abri d'une main armée de fer, ni à l'épreuve d'une flèche d'airain.
Huirá de las armas de hierro, y el arco de acero le atravesará.
He shall flee from the iron weapon, and the bow of steel shall strike him through.
He will flee from the iron weapon. The bronze arrow will strike him through.
Que le trait entre par sa bouche ; que les éclairs sillonnent ses demeures. Que les épouvantements se promènent à ses côtés ;
Desenvainará y sacará saeta de su aljaba, y relumbrante pasará por su hiel: sobre él vendrán terrores.
It is drawn, and cometh out of the body; yea, the glittering sword cometh out of his gall: terrors are upon him.
He draws it out, and it comes out of his body. Yes, the glittering point comes out of his liver. Terrors are on him.
Que les ténèbres autour de lui ne se dissipent jamais ; que la flamme le dévore sans le consumer ; que son hôte ruine sa maison.
Todas tinieblas están guardadas para sus secretos: fuego no soplado lo devorará; su sucesor será quebrantado en su tienda.
All darkness shall be hid in his secret places: a fire not blown shall consume him; it shall go ill with him that is left in his tabernacle.
All darkness is laid up for his treasures. An unfanned fire will devour him. It will consume that which is left in his tent.
Que le ciel dévoile ses péchés ; que la terre s'élève contre lui.
Los cielos descubrirán su iniquidad, y la tierra se levantará contra él.
The heaven shall reveal his iniquity; and the earth shall rise up against him.
The heavens will reveal his iniquity. The earth will rise up against him.
Que sa famille enfin périsse et qu'il voie luire le jour de la colère.

The increase of his house shall depart, and his goods shall flow away in the day of his wrath.

Tel est le sort que le Seigneur réserve à l'impie ; telle est la part de richesses que lui donnera Celui qui voit tout.
Esta es la parte que Dios apareja al hombre impío, y la heredad que Dios le señala por su palabra.
This is the portion of a wicked man from God, and the heritage appointed unto him by God.
