Doubtlesse my thoughts cause me to answere, and therefore I make haste.

“Therefore my thoughts answer me, even by reason of my haste that is in me.
I haue heard the correction of my reproch: therefore the spirite of mine vnderstanding causeth me to answere.
La reprensión de mi censura he oído, y háceme responder el espíritu de mi inteligencia.
I have heard the check of my reproach, and the spirit of my understanding causeth me to answer.
I have heard the reproof which puts me to shame. The spirit of my understanding answers me.
Knowest thou not this of olde? and since God placed man vpon the earth,
¿No sabes esto que fué siempre, desde el tiempo que fué puesto el hombre sobre la tierra,
Knowest thou not this of old, since man was placed upon earth,
Don’t you know this from old time, since man was placed on earth,
That the reioycing of the wicked is short, and that the ioy of hypocrites is but a moment?
Que la alegría de los impíos es breve, y el gozo del hipócrita por un momento?
That the triumphing of the wicked is short, and the joy of the hypocrite but for a moment?
that the triumphing of the wicked is short, the joy of the godless but for a moment?
Though his excellencie mount vp to the heauen, and his head reache vnto the cloudes,
Si subiere su altivez hasta el cielo, y su cabeza tocare en las nubes,
Though his excellency mount up to the heavens, and his head reach unto the clouds;
Though his height mount up to the heavens, and his head reach to the clouds,
Yet shall hee perish for euer, like his dung, and they which haue seene him, shall say, Where is hee?
Con su estiércol perecerá para siempre: los que le hubieren visto, dirán: ¿Qué es de él?
Yet he shall perish for ever like his own dung: they which have seen him shall say, Where is he?
yet he will perish forever like his own dung. Those who have seen him will say, ‘Where is he?’
He shall flee away as a dreame, and they shall not finde him, and shall passe away as a vision of the night,
Como sueño volará, y no será hallado: y disiparáse como visión nocturna.
He shall fly away as a dream, and shall not be found: yea, he shall be chased away as a vision of the night.
He will fly away as a dream, and will not be found. Yes, he will be chased away like a vision of the night.
So that the eye which had seene him, shall do so no more, and his place shall see him no more.
El ojo que le habrá visto, nunca más le verá; ni su lugar le echará más de ver.
The eye also which saw him shall see him no more; neither shall his place any more behold him.

His children shall flatter the poore, and his hands shall restore his substance.
Sus hijos pobres andarán rogando; y sus manos tornarán lo que él robó.
His children shall seek to please the poor, and his hands shall restore their goods.
His children will seek the favor of the poor. His hands will give back his wealth.
His bones are full of the sinne of his youth, and it shall lie downe with him in the dust.
Sus huesos están llenos de sus mocedades, y con él serán sepultados en el polvo.
His bones are full of the sin of his youth, which shall lie down with him in the dust.
His bones are full of his youth, but youth will lie down with him in the dust.
When wickednesse was sweete in his mouth, and he hid it vnder his tongue,
Si el mal se endulzó en su boca, si lo ocultaba debajo de su lengua;
Though wickedness be sweet in his mouth, though he hide it under his tongue;
“Though wickedness is sweet in his mouth, though he hide it under his tongue,
And fauoured it, and would not forsake it, but kept it close in his mouth,
Si le parecía bien, y no lo dejaba, mas antes lo detenía entre su paladar;
Though he spare it, and forsake it not; but keep it still within his mouth:
though he spare it, and will not let it go, but keep it still within his mouth,
Then his meat in his bowels was turned: the gall of Aspes was in the middes of him.
Su comida se mudará en sus entrañas, hiel de áspides será dentro de él.
Yet his meat in his bowels is turned, it is the gall of asps within him.
yet his food in his bowels is turned. It is cobra venom within him.
He hath deuoured substance, and hee shall vomit it: for God shall drawe it out of his bellie.
Devoró riquezas, mas vomitarálas; de su vientre las sacará Dios.
He hath swallowed down riches, and he shall vomit them up again: God shall cast them out of his belly.
He has swallowed down riches, and he will vomit them up again. God will cast them out of his belly.
He shall sucke the gall of Aspes, and the vipers tongue shall slay him.
Veneno de áspides chupará; matarálo lengua de víbora.
He shall suck the poison of asps: the viper’s tongue shall slay him.
He will suck cobra venom. The viper’s tongue will kill him.
He shall not see the riuers, nor the floods and streames of honie and butter.
No verá los arroyos, los ríos, los torrentes de miel y de manteca.
He shall not see the rivers, the floods, the brooks of honey and butter.
He will not look at the rivers, the flowing streams of honey and butter.
He shall restore the labour, and shall deuoure no more: euen according to the substance shalbe his exchange, and he shall enioy it no more.
Restituirá el trabajo conforme á la hacienda que tomó; y no tragará, ni gozará.
That which he laboured for shall he restore, and shall not swallow it down: according to his substance shall the restitution be, and he shall not rejoice therein.
He will restore that for which he labored, and will not swallow it down. He will not rejoice according to the substance that he has gotten.
For he hath vndone many: he hath forsaken the poore, and hath spoyled houses which he builded not.
Por cuanto quebrantó y desamparó á los pobres, robó casas, y no las edificó;
Because he hath oppressed and hath forsaken the poor; because he hath violently taken away an house which he builded not;
For he has oppressed and forsaken the poor. He has violently taken away a house, and he will not build it up.
Surely he shall feele no quietnes in his bodie, neither shall he reserue of that which he desired.
Por tanto, no sentirá él sosiego en su vientre, ni salvará nada de lo que codiciaba.
Surely he shall not feel quietness in his belly, he shall not save of that which he desired.
“Because he knew no quietness within him, he will not save anything of that in which he delights.
There shall none of his meate bee left: therefore none shall hope for his goods.
No quedó nada que no comiese: por tanto su bien no será durable.
There shall none of his meat be left; therefore shall no man look for his goods.
There was nothing left that he didn’t devour, therefore his prosperity will not endure.
When he shalbe filled with his abundance, he shalbe in paine, and the hand of all the wicked shall assaile him.
Cuando fuere lleno su bastimento, tendrá angustia: las manos todas de los malvados vendrán sobre él.
In the fulness of his sufficiency he shall be in straits: every hand of the wicked shall come upon him.
In the fullness of his sufficiency, distress will overtake him. The hand of everyone who is in misery will come on him.
He shall be about to fill his belly, but God shall sende vpon him his fierce wrath, and shall cause to rayne vpon him, euen vpon his meate.
Cuando se pusiere á henchir su vientre, Dios enviará sobre él el furor de su ira, y harála llover sobre él y sobre su comida.
When he is about to fill his belly, God shall cast the fury of his wrath upon him, and shall rain it upon him while he is eating.
When he is about to fill his belly, God will cast the fierceness of his wrath on him. It will rain on him while he is eating.
He shall flee from the yron weapons, and the bow of steele shall strike him through.
Huirá de las armas de hierro, y el arco de acero le atravesará.
He shall flee from the iron weapon, and the bow of steel shall strike him through.
He will flee from the iron weapon. The bronze arrow will strike him through.
The arrowe is drawen out, and commeth forth of the body, and shineth of his gall, so feare commeth vpon him.
Desenvainará y sacará saeta de su aljaba, y relumbrante pasará por su hiel: sobre él vendrán terrores.
It is drawn, and cometh out of the body; yea, the glittering sword cometh out of his gall: terrors are upon him.
He draws it out, and it comes out of his body. Yes, the glittering point comes out of his liver. Terrors are on him.
All darkenes shalbe hid in his secret places: the fire that is not blowen, shall deuoure him, and that which remaineth in his tabernacle, shalbe destroyed.
Todas tinieblas están guardadas para sus secretos: fuego no soplado lo devorará; su sucesor será quebrantado en su tienda.
All darkness shall be hid in his secret places: a fire not blown shall consume him; it shall go ill with him that is left in his tabernacle.
All darkness is laid up for his treasures. An unfanned fire will devour him. It will consume that which is left in his tent.
The heauen shall declare his wickednes, and the earth shall rise vp against him.
Los cielos descubrirán su iniquidad, y la tierra se levantará contra él.
The heaven shall reveal his iniquity; and the earth shall rise up against him.
The heavens will reveal his iniquity. The earth will rise up against him.
The increase of his house shall go away: it shall flow away in the day of his wrath.
Los renuevos de su casa serán trasportados; serán derramados en el día de su furor.
The increase of his house shall depart, and his goods shall flow away in the day of his wrath.
The increase of his house will depart. They will rush away in the day of his wrath.
This is the portion of the wicked man from God, and the heritage that he shall haue of God for his wordes.
Esta es la parte que Dios apareja al hombre impío, y la heredad que Dios le señala por su palabra.
This is the portion of a wicked man from God, and the heritage appointed unto him by God.
This is the portion of a wicked man from God, the heritage appointed to him by God.”
