“Eu preciso dizer o que estou pensando imediatamente, porque estou profundamente perturbado.
Por cierto mis pensamientos me hacen responder, y por tanto me apresuro.
Therefore do my thoughts cause me to answer, and for this I make haste.
“Therefore my thoughts answer me, even by reason of my haste that is in me.
Ouvi com atenção sua resposta e suas acusações contra mim e por isso tenho de responder de acordo com a minha consciência.
La reprensión de mi censura he oído, y háceme responder el espíritu de mi inteligencia.
I have heard the check of my reproach, and the spirit of my understanding causeth me to answer.
I have heard the reproof which puts me to shame. The spirit of my understanding answers me.
“Você não compreende que desde a antiguidade, desde que existe gente na terra,
¿No sabes esto que fué siempre, desde el tiempo que fué puesto el hombre sobre la tierra,
Knowest thou not this of old, since man was placed upon earth,
Don’t you know this from old time, since man was placed on earth,
a alegria dos maus é passageira, e o riso dos pecadores rebeldes dura apenas um momento?
Que la alegría de los impíos es breve, y el gozo del hipócrita por un momento?
That the triumphing of the wicked is short, and the joy of the hypocrite but for a moment?
that the triumphing of the wicked is short, the joy of the godless but for a moment?
Mesmo que ele seja cheio de si e orgulhoso, e a sua cabeça toque as nuvens,
Si subiere su altivez hasta el cielo, y su cabeza tocare en las nubes,
Though his excellency mount up to the heavens, and his head reach unto the clouds;
Though his height mount up to the heavens, and his head reach to the clouds,
o perverso perecerá para sempre, como o seu próprio excremento. Seus conhecidos todos vão perguntar: ‘Onde ele foi parar?’
Con su estiércol perecerá para siempre: los que le hubieren visto, dirán: ¿Qué es de él?
Yet he shall perish for ever like his own dung: they which have seen him shall say, Where is he?

Ele passará depressa como um sonho, para nunca mais ser encontrado; desaparecerá como uma visão da noite.
Como sueño volará, y no será hallado: y disiparáse como visión nocturna.
He shall fly away as a dream, and shall not be found: yea, he shall be chased away as a vision of the night.

Os olhos que o viram não o verão mais; nem o seu lugar o verá outra vez.
El ojo que le habrá visto, nunca más le verá; ni su lugar le echará más de ver.
The eye also which saw him shall see him no more; neither shall his place any more behold him.

Seus filhos terão de fazer restituição aos pobres; ele próprio, com as suas mãos, terá de restituir a sua riqueza.

His children shall seek to please the poor, and his hands shall restore their goods.

Mesmo que ainda seja jovem e cheio de saúde, o perverso será castigado com a morte.
Sus huesos están llenos de sus mocedades, y con él serán sepultados en el polvo.
His bones are full of the sin of his youth, which shall lie down with him in the dust.

“Para o perverso, a maldade tem um gosto doce em sua boca e ele o esconde sob a língua.
Si el mal se endulzó en su boca, si lo ocultaba debajo de su lengua;
Though wickedness be sweet in his mouth, though he hide it under his tongue;
“Though wickedness is sweet in his mouth, though he hide it under his tongue,
Mesmo que ele goste de saborear as maldades como se fossem uma comida deliciosa,
Si le parecía bien, y no lo dejaba, mas antes lo detenía entre su paladar;
Though he spare it, and forsake it not; but keep it still within his mouth:
though he spare it, and will not let it go, but keep it still within his mouth,
ainda assim essa comida deliciosa deixará um gosto amargo no seu estômago; e se transformará em veneno de serpente em seu interior.
Su comida se mudará en sus entrañas, hiel de áspides será dentro de él.
Yet his meat in his bowels is turned, it is the gall of asps within him.
yet his food in his bowels is turned. It is cobra venom within him.
Ele vomitará as riquezas que engoliu; Deus fará seu estômago lançá-las fora.
Devoró riquezas, mas vomitarálas; de su vientre las sacará Dios.
He hath swallowed down riches, and he shall vomit them up again: God shall cast them out of his belly.
He has swallowed down riches, and he will vomit them up again. God will cast them out of his belly.
Ele toma veneno de cobra, um veneno terrível que acabará tirando a sua vida.
Veneno de áspides chupará; matarálo lengua de víbora.
He shall suck the poison of asps: the viper’s tongue shall slay him.
He will suck cobra venom. The viper’s tongue will kill him.
Ele não aproveitará as coisas belas da vida, os rios correndo pelos campos, cobertos de mel, e de manteiga.
No verá los arroyos, los ríos, los torrentes de miel y de manteca.
He shall not see the rivers, the floods, the brooks of honey and butter.
He will not look at the rivers, the flowing streams of honey and butter.
O perverso não aproveitará o fruto de seu trabalho; seus lucros desonestos não trarão a menor alegria.
Restituirá el trabajo conforme á la hacienda que tomó; y no tragará, ni gozará.
That which he laboured for shall he restore, and shall not swallow it down: according to his substance shall the restitution be, and he shall not rejoice therein.
He will restore that for which he labored, and will not swallow it down. He will not rejoice according to the substance that he has gotten.
Tudo isso porque explorou os pobres e os deixou desamparados; tomou à força as propriedades que não construiu.
Por cuanto quebrantó y desamparó á los pobres, robó casas, y no las edificó;
Because he hath oppressed and hath forsaken the poor; because he hath violently taken away an house which he builded not;
For he has oppressed and forsaken the poor. He has violently taken away a house, and he will not build it up.
Por causa da sua cobiça sem limites, o perverso perdeu tudo que tanto desejou e sonhou conseguir.
Por tanto, no sentirá él sosiego en su vientre, ni salvará nada de lo que codiciaba.
Surely he shall not feel quietness in his belly, he shall not save of that which he desired.
“Because he knew no quietness within him, he will not save anything of that in which he delights.
Ele nunca perdeu uma oportunidade de roubar para conseguir riquezas e por isso perderá toda a sua fortuna.
No quedó nada que no comiese: por tanto su bien no será durable.
There shall none of his meat be left; therefore shall no man look for his goods.
There was nothing left that he didn’t devour, therefore his prosperity will not endure.
Quando atingir o máximo da riqueza, a aflição o dominará; toda a força da miséria vai acabar com ele.
Cuando fuere lleno su bastimento, tendrá angustia: las manos todas de los malvados vendrán sobre él.
In the fulness of his sufficiency he shall be in straits: every hand of the wicked shall come upon him.
In the fullness of his sufficiency, distress will overtake him. The hand of everyone who is in misery will come on him.
Para alimento, Deus fará chover a sua ira sobre o perverso, até ele dizer: ‘Não aguento mais!’
Cuando se pusiere á henchir su vientre, Dios enviará sobre él el furor de su ira, y harála llover sobre él y sobre su comida.
When he is about to fill his belly, God shall cast the fury of his wrath upon him, and shall rain it upon him while he is eating.
When he is about to fill his belly, God will cast the fierceness of his wrath on him. It will rain on him while he is eating.
Se ele escapar da arma de ferro, uma flecha com ponta de bronze o atravessará.
Huirá de las armas de hierro, y el arco de acero le atravesará.
He shall flee from the iron weapon, and the bow of steel shall strike him through.
He will flee from the iron weapon. The bronze arrow will strike him through.
Ele arranca a flecha cravada em suas costas, e a ponta sai brilhando do seu fígado. O ferimento é mortal, e o perverso é dominado pelo medo da morte!
Desenvainará y sacará saeta de su aljaba, y relumbrante pasará por su hiel: sobre él vendrán terrores.
It is drawn, and cometh out of the body; yea, the glittering sword cometh out of his gall: terrors are upon him.
He draws it out, and it comes out of his body. Yes, the glittering point comes out of his liver. Terrors are on him.
Densas trevas estarão à espera das suas riquezas; um incêndio que ninguém saberá explicar destruirá todos os tesouros que ele ajuntou em sua casa.
Todas tinieblas están guardadas para sus secretos: fuego no soplado lo devorará; su sucesor será quebrantado en su tienda.
All darkness shall be hid in his secret places: a fire not blown shall consume him; it shall go ill with him that is left in his tabernacle.
All darkness is laid up for his treasures. An unfanned fire will devour him. It will consume that which is left in his tent.
Os céus revelarão o pecado do perverso, e a terra se levantará contra ele.
Los cielos descubrirán su iniquidad, y la tierra se levantará contra él.
The heaven shall reveal his iniquity; and the earth shall rise up against him.
The heavens will reveal his iniquity. The earth will rise up against him.
Os bens da sua casa serão levados, arrastados pelas águas, no dia do castigo de Deus.
Los renuevos de su casa serán trasportados; serán derramados en el día de su furor.
The increase of his house shall depart, and his goods shall flow away in the day of his wrath.
The increase of his house will depart. They will rush away in the day of his wrath.
Pois isto é o que acontece ao homem que se revolta contra Deus. Esse é o terrível destino que Deus reserva para ele”.
Esta es la parte que Dios apareja al hombre impío, y la heredad que Dios le señala por su palabra.
This is the portion of a wicked man from God, and the heritage appointed unto him by God.
