»Herrschergewalt und Schrecken sind bei ihm, der da Frieden schafft in seinen Höhen.
El señorío y el temor están con él: él hace paz en sus alturas.
Dominion and fear are with him, he maketh peace in his high places.

Sind seine Heerscharen zu zählen? Und wo ist einer, über den sein Licht sich nicht erhöbe?
¿Tienen sus ejércitos número? ¿y sobre quién no está su luz?
Is there any number of his armies? and upon whom doth not his light arise?
Can his armies be counted? On whom does his light not arise?
Wie könnte da ein Mensch recht behalten Gott gegenüber und wie ein vom Weibe Geborener neben ihm rein erscheinen?
¿Cómo pues se justificará el hombre con Dios? ¿y cómo será limpio el que nace de mujer?
How then can man be justified with God? or how can he be clean that is born of a woman?
How then can man be just with God? Or how can he who is born of a woman be clean?
Bedenke nur: sogar der Mond ist nicht hell, und die Sterne sind nicht rein in seinen Augen –
He aquí que ni aun la misma luna será resplandeciente, ni las estrellas son limpias delante de sus ojos:
Behold even to the moon, and it shineth not; yea, the stars are not pure in his sight.
Behold, even the moon has no brightness, and the stars are not pure in his sight;
wieviel weniger der Sterbliche, die Made, und der Menschensohn, der Wurm!«
¿Cuánto menos el hombre que es un gusano, y el hijo de hombre, también gusano?
How much less man, that is a worm? and the son of man, which is a worm?
How much less man, who is a worm, and the son of man, who is a worm!”
