1Bildad de Súah responde:
2«Dios es poderoso y temible. Él pone orden en las altura de los cielos.
3¿Quién podrá contar sus ejércitos de ángeles? Y su luz se derrama sobre toda la tierra.
4¿Cómo puede el simple hombre plantarse ante Dios y pretender que es justo? ¿Quién en el mundo entero puede alardear de ser puro?
5Tan glorioso es Dios, que hasta la luna y las estrellas son menos que nada comparadas con él.
6¡Cuánto más insignificante es el hombre, que no es más que un simple gusano a la vista de él!».

1Y RESPONDIÓ Bildad Suhita, y dijo:
2El señorío y el temor están con él: él hace paz en sus alturas.
3¿Tienen sus ejércitos número? ¿y sobre quién no está su luz?
4¿Cómo pues se justificará el hombre con Dios? ¿y cómo será limpio el que nace de mujer?
5He aquí que ni aun la misma luna será resplandeciente, ni las estrellas son limpias delante de sus ojos:
6¿Cuánto menos el hombre que es un gusano, y el hijo de hombre, también gusano?

1Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said,
2Dominion and fear are with him, he maketh peace in his high places.
3Is there any number of his armies? and upon whom doth not his light arise?
4How then can man be justified with God? or how can he be clean that is born of a woman?
5Behold even to the moon, and it shineth not; yea, the stars are not pure in his sight.
6How much less man, that is a worm? and the son of man, which is a worm?

1Then Bildad the Shuhite answered,
2“Dominion and fear are with him. He makes peace in his high places.
3Can his armies be counted? On whom does his light not arise?
4How then can man be just with God? Or how can he who is born of a woman be clean?
5Behold, even the moon has no brightness, and the stars are not pure in his sight;
6How much less man, who is a worm, and the son of man, who is a worm!”
