But Job answered and said,

“Mas que grande ajuda você me dá, quando estou fraco e desanimado da vida! Que socorro você prestou ao braço que não tinha vigor?
¿En qué ayudaste al que no tiene fuerza? ¿has amparado al brazo sin fortaleza?
How hast thou helped him that is without power? how savest thou the arm that hath no strength?
“How have you helped him who is without power! How have you saved the arm that has no strength!
Que fabuloso conselheiro você é, e que grande sabedoria você revelou!
¿En qué aconsejaste al que no tiene ciencia, y mostraste bien sabiduría?
How hast thou counselled him that hath no wisdom? and how hast thou plentifully declared the thing as it is?
How have you counseled him who has no wisdom, and plentifully declared sound knowledge!
Como foi que chegou a conclusões tão brilhantes? Quem o ajudou a descobrir essas grandes verdades?
¿A quién has anunciado palabras, y cúyo es el espíritu que de ti sale?
To whom hast thou uttered words? and whose spirit came from thee?
To whom have you uttered words? Whose spirit came out of you?
“No reino dos mortos, os homens tremem de medo debaixo da água, com os seus moradores.
Cosas inanimadas son formadas debajo de las aguas, y los habitantes de ellas.
Dead things are formed from under the waters, and the inhabitants thereof.
“The departed spirits tremble, those beneath the waters and all that live in them.
A morte está nua perante Deus, e nada encobre a destruição.
El sepulcro es descubierto delante de él, y el infierno no tiene cobertura.
Hell is naked before him, and destruction hath no covering.
Sheol is naked before God, and Abaddon has no covering.
Ele estende os céus do norte sobre o espaço vazio e faz a terra flutuar sobre o nada.

Quando Deus fica irado, até as colunas do céu estremecem e ficam perplexas.

Com um simples sopro ele transforma uma tempestade em céu azul; com sua mão matou a serpente arisca.
Su espíritu adornó los cielos; su mano crió la serpiente tortuosa.
By his spirit he hath garnished the heavens; his hand hath formed the crooked serpent.
By his Spirit the heavens are garnished. His hand has pierced the swift serpent.
Isso é apenas uma amostra do poder de Deus, um simples sinal; quando ele mostrar toda a sua gloriosa força, quem será capaz de sobreviver?”
He aquí, estas son partes de sus caminos: ¡mas cuán poco hemos oído de él! Porque el estruendo de sus fortalezas, ¿quién lo detendrá?
Lo, these are parts of his ways: but how little a portion is heard of him? but the thunder of his power who can understand?
Behold, these are but the outskirts of his ways. How small a whisper do we hear of him! But the thunder of his power who can understand?”
