So wahr Gott lebt, der mir mein Recht nicht gehen lasset, und der Allmachtige, der meine Seele betrubet,
Vive Dios, el cual ha apartado mi causa, y el Omnipotente, que amargó el alma mía,
As God liveth, who hath taken away my judgment; and the Almighty, who hath vexed my soul;
“As God lives, who has taken away my right, the Almighty, who has made my soul bitter
solange mein Odem in mir ist, und das Schnauben von Gott in meiner Nase ist:
Que todo el tiempo que mi alma estuviere en mí, y hubiere hálito de Dios en mis narices,
All the while my breath is in me, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils;
(for the length of my life is still in me, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils);
meine Lippen sollen nichts Unrechts reden, und meine Zunge soil keinen Betrug sagen.
Mis labios no hablarán iniquidad, ni mi lengua pronunciará engaño.
My lips shall not speak wickedness, nor my tongue utter deceit.
surely my lips will not speak unrighteousness, neither will my tongue utter deceit.
Das sei feme von mir, daß ich euch recht gebe; bis da(S mein Ende kommt, will ich nicht weichen von meiner Frommigkeit.
Nunca tal acontezca que yo os justifique: hasta morir no quitaré de mí mi integridad.
God forbid that I should justify you: till I die I will not remove mine integrity from me.

Von meiner Gerechtigkeit, die ich habe, will ich nicht lassen; mein Gewissen beißt mich nicht meines ganzen Lebens halber.
Mi justicia tengo asida, y no la cederé: no me reprochará mi corazón en el tiempo de mi vida.
My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go: my heart shall not reproach me so long as I live.

Aber mein Feind wird erfunden werden ein Gottloser, und der sich wider mich auflehnet, ein Ungerechter.
Sea como el impío mi enemigo, y como el inicuo mi adversario.
Let mine enemy be as the wicked, and he that riseth up against me as the unrighteous.

Denn was ist die FHoffnung des FHeuchlers, daß er so geizig ist, und Gott doch seine Seele hinreüßet?
Porque ¿cuál es la esperanza del hipócrita, por mucho que hubiere robado, cuando Dios arrebatare su alma?
For what is the hope of the hypocrite, though he hath gained, when God taketh away his soul?
For what is the hope of the godless, when he is cut off, when God takes away his life?
Meinest du, da(S Gott sein Schreien horen wird, wenn die Angst über ihn kommt?
¿Oirá Dios su clamor cuando la tribulación sobre él viniere?
Will God hear his cry when trouble cometh upon him?

Wie kann eran dem Allmachtigen Lust haben und Gott etwa anrufen?
¿Deleitaráse en el Omnipotente? ¿invocará á Dios en todo tiempo?
Will he delight himself in the Almighty? will he always call upon God?

Ich will euch lehren von der FHand Gottes; und was bei dem Allmachtigen gilt, will ich nicht verhehlen.
Yo os enseñaré en orden á la mano de Dios: no esconderé lo que hay para con el Omnipotente.
I will teach you by the hand of God: that which is with the Almighty will I not conceal.

Das ist der Lohn eines gottlosen Menschen bei Gott und das Erbe der Tyrannen, das sie von dem Allmachtigen nehmen werden.

Si sus hijos fueren multiplicados, serán para el cuchillo; y sus pequeños no se hartarán de pan;
If his children be multiplied, it is for the sword: and his offspring shall not be satisfied with bread.

Seine Ubrigen werden im Tode begraben werden, und seine Witwen werden nicht weinen.
Los que le quedaren, en muerte serán sepultados; y no llorarán sus viudas.

Der Reiche, wenn er sich legt, wird er's nicht mitraffen; er wird seine Augen auftun, und da wird nichts sein.

Asirán de él terrores como aguas: torbellino lo arrebatará de noche.

Der Ostwind wird ihn wegfuhren, daß er dahinfahret, und Ungestum wird ihn von seinem Ort treiben.
Lo antecogerá el solano, y partirá; y tempestad lo arrebatará del lugar suyo.
The east wind carrieth him away, and he departeth: and as a storm hurleth him out of his place.

Er wird solches uber ihn führen und wird sein nicht schonen; es wird ihm alles aus seinen Handen entfliehen.
Dios pues descargará sobre él, y no perdonará: hará él por huir de su mano.
For God shall cast upon him, and not spare: he would fain flee out of his hand.
For it hurls at him, and does not spare, as he flees away from his hand.
Man wird über ihn mit den Flanden klappen und über ihn zischen, da er gewesen ist.
