E Jó continuou o seu discurso:
Y REASUMIÓ Job su discurso, y dijo:
Moreover Job continued his parable, and said,
Job again took up his parable, and said,
“Tão certo como o fato de existir um Deus Todo-poderoso, o mesmo que me castigou sem julgamento e encheu de tristezas a minha alma,
Vive Dios, el cual ha apartado mi causa, y el Omnipotente, que amargó el alma mía,
As God liveth, who hath taken away my judgment; and the Almighty, who hath vexed my soul;
“As God lives, who has taken away my right, the Almighty, who has made my soul bitter
enquanto eu tiver vida em mim e tiver o fôlego de Deus em minhas narinas,
Que todo el tiempo que mi alma estuviere en mí, y hubiere hálito de Dios en mis narices,
All the while my breath is in me, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils;
(for the length of my life is still in me, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils);
meus lábios não terão lugar para a injustiça, nem para a mentira.
Mis labios no hablarán iniquidad, ni mi lengua pronunciará engaño.
My lips shall not speak wickedness, nor my tongue utter deceit.
surely my lips will not speak unrighteousness, neither will my tongue utter deceit.
Nunca darei razão a vocês e continuarei afirmando que sou inocente até a minha morte.
Nunca tal acontezca que yo os justifique: hasta morir no quitaré de mí mi integridad.
God forbid that I should justify you: till I die I will not remove mine integrity from me.
Far be it from me that I should justify you. Until I die I will not put away my integrity from me.
Nunca abrirei mão da minha justiça; a minha consciência está perfeitamente limpa e sempre esteve, por toda a minha vida.
Mi justicia tengo asida, y no la cederé: no me reprochará mi corazón en el tiempo de mi vida.
My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go: my heart shall not reproach me so long as I live.
I hold fast to my righteousness, and will not let it go. My heart will not reproach me so long as I live.
“E se vocês insistirem em me acusar, fiquem sabendo que isso não passa de pura maldade; quem me acusa de ser um rebelde não passa de um perverso pecador.
Sea como el impío mi enemigo, y como el inicuo mi adversario.
Let mine enemy be as the wicked, and he that riseth up against me as the unrighteous.
“Let my enemy be as the wicked. Let him who rises up against me be as the unrighteous.
Que esperança tem o pecador quando chega a hora da morte, a hora em que Deus tira a sua vida?
Porque ¿cuál es la esperanza del hipócrita, por mucho que hubiere robado, cuando Dios arrebatare su alma?
For what is the hope of the hypocrite, though he hath gained, when God taketh away his soul?
For what is the hope of the godless, when he is cut off, when God takes away his life?
Por acaso Deus atenderá aos pedidos de ajuda que o perverso fizer na hora do sofrimento?
¿Oirá Dios su clamor cuando la tribulación sobre él viniere?
Will God hear his cry when trouble cometh upon him?
Will God hear his cry when trouble comes on him?
Terá ele prazer no Todo-poderoso? Dará a Deus um lugar em sua vida?
¿Deleitaráse en el Omnipotente? ¿invocará á Dios en todo tiempo?
Will he delight himself in the Almighty? will he always call upon God?
Will he delight himself in the Almighty, and call on God at all times?
“Eu vou lhes ensinar sobre o poder de Deus, não esconderei de vocês as realidades do Todo-poderoso.
Yo os enseñaré en orden á la mano de Dios: no esconderé lo que hay para con el Omnipotente.
I will teach you by the hand of God: that which is with the Almighty will I not conceal.
I will teach you about the hand of God. I will not conceal that which is with the Almighty.
Vocês já conhecem essas realidades, mas apesar disso continuam falando tolices.
He aquí que todos vosotros lo habéis visto: ¿por qué pues os desvanecéis con fantasía?
Behold, all ye yourselves have seen it; why then are ye thus altogether vain?
Behold, all of you have seen it yourselves; why then have you become altogether vain?
“Eis o que Deus preparou como castigo para o perverso, a herança que o mau recebe do Todo-poderoso:
Esta es para con Dios la suerte del hombre impío, y la herencia que los violentos han de recibir del Omnipotente.
This is the portion of a wicked man with God, and the heritage of oppressors, which they shall receive of the Almighty.
“This is the portion of a wicked man with God, the heritage of oppressors, which they receive from the Almighty.
Se os perversos tiverem grandes famílias, seus filhos morrerão na guerra ou de fome.
Si sus hijos fueren multiplicados, serán para el cuchillo; y sus pequeños no se hartarán de pan;
If his children be multiplied, it is for the sword: and his offspring shall not be satisfied with bread.
If his children are multiplied, it is for the sword. His offspring will not be satisfied with bread.
Quem escapar da guerra e da fome morrerá de peste, e ninguém chorará a morte dos filhos do perverso, nem mesmo suas esposas.
Los que le quedaren, en muerte serán sepultados; y no llorarán sus viudas.
Those that remain of him shall be buried in death: and his widows shall not weep.
Those who remain of him will be buried in death. His widows will make no lamentation.
O perverso pode ajuntar prata como pó e encher vários armários com as melhores roupas,
Si amontonare plata como polvo, y si preparare ropa como lodo;
Though he heap up silver as the dust, and prepare raiment as the clay;
Though he heap up silver as the dust, and prepare clothing as the clay;
mas quem vai gastar o ouro e usar as roupas são os justos!
Habrála él preparado, mas el justo se vestirá, y el inocente repartirá la plata.
He may prepare it, but the just shall put it on, and the innocent shall divide the silver.
he may prepare it, but the just will put it on, and the innocent will divide the silver.
A casa que o perverso construir será fraca como um casulo de uma traça; como uma palhoça qualquer construída às pressas pela sentinela.
Edificó su casa como la polilla, y cual cabaña que el guarda hizo.
He buildeth his house as a moth, and as a booth that the keeper maketh.
He builds his house as the moth, as a booth which the watchman makes.
Quando vai dormir, ele é rico e poderoso; quando acorda, descobre que toda a sua fortuna desapareceu.
El rico dormirá, mas no será recogido: abrirá sus ojos, mas él no será.
The rich man shall lie down, but he shall not be gathered: he openeth his eyes, and he is not.
He lies down rich, but he will not do so again. He opens his eyes, and he is not.
Como uma inundação, o medo toma conta de sua alma; à noite, ele é levado embora pela tempestade.
Asirán de él terrores como aguas: torbellino lo arrebatará de noche.
Terrors take hold on him as waters, a tempest stealeth him away in the night.
Terrors overtake him like waters. A storm steals him away in the night.
O vento forte, vindo do leste, leva o perverso embora para sempre, para a eternidade.
Lo antecogerá el solano, y partirá; y tempestad lo arrebatará del lugar suyo.
The east wind carrieth him away, and he departeth: and as a storm hurleth him out of his place.
The east wind carries him away, and he departs. It sweeps him out of his place.
Deus manda esse castigo sobre os perversos, e nenhum deles pode escapar, mesmo que tente fugir a todo custo.
Dios pues descargará sobre él, y no perdonará: hará él por huir de su mano.
For God shall cast upon him, and not spare: he would fain flee out of his hand.
For it hurls at him, and does not spare, as he flees away from his hand.
Ele corre, e o vento assobia e o apavora com seu poder destruidor”.
Batirán sus manos sobre él, y desde su lugar le silbarán.
Men shall clap their hands at him, and shall hiss him out of his place.
Men will clap their hands at him, and will hiss him out of his place.
