Pois de que me serveria a força das mãos dos seus pais, homens cuja força da sua idade madura já pereceu?

Porque ¿para qué yo habría menester la fuerza de sus manos, en los cuales había perecido con el tiempo?

Yea, whereto might the strength of their hands profit me, in whom old age was perished?

Of what use is the strength of their hands to me, men in whom ripe age has perished?
