Hoje eles moram nos leitos secos dos rios, e nos vales estreitos entre as montanhas.

Habitaban en las barrancas de los arroyos, en las cavernas de la tierra, y en las rocas.

To dwell in the clifts of the valleys, in caves of the earth, and in the rocks.

so that they live in frightful valleys, and in holes of the earth and of the rocks.
