Si j'ai fait de l'or mon assurance, Si j'ai appelé l'or pur ma confiance ;

Si puse en oro mi esperanza, y dije al oro: Mi confianza eres tú;

If I have made gold my hope, or have said to the fine gold, Thou art my confidence;
