habe ich die Sonne angesehen, weil sie leuchtete, und den Mond, weil er so prächtig dahinzog,

Si he mirado al sol cuando resplandecía, y á la luna cuando iba hermosa,

If I beheld the sun when it shined, or the moon walking in brightness;

if I have seen the sun when it shined, or the moon moving in splendor,
