Job 32

Als nun jene drei Männer es aufgegeben hatten, dem Hiob (darauf) zu antworten, daß er sich selbst für gerecht hielt,

Y CESARON estos tres varones de responder á Job, por cuanto él era justo en sus ojos.

da entbrannte der Zorn des Busiters Elihu, des Sohnes Barachels, aus dem Geschlechte Ram. Gegen Hiob war er in Zorn geraten, weil dieser Gott gegenüber im Recht zu sein behauptete;

Entonces Eliú hijo de Barachêl, Bucita,, de la familia de Ram, se enojó con furor contra Job: enojóse con furor, por cuanto justificaba su vida más que á Dios.

Then was kindled the wrath of Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the kindred of Ram: against Job was his wrath kindled, because he justified himself rather than God.

und gegen dessen drei Freunde war er deshalb in Zorn geraten, weil sie nicht die (rechte) Antwort gefunden hatten, um Hiob als schuldig zu erweisen.

Enojóse asimismo con furor contra sus tres amigos, porque no hallaban qué responder, aunque habían condenado á Job.

Elihu hatte aber mit einer Entgegnung an Hiob an sich gehalten, weil jene älter an Jahren waren als er.

Y Eliú había esperado á Job en la disputa, porque eran más viejos de días que él.

Now Elihu had waited till Job had spoken, because they were elder than he.

Als Elihu aber sah, daß im Munde der drei Männer keine Widerlegung sich fand, geriet er in Zorn.

Empero viendo Eliú que no había respuesta en la boca de aquellos tres varones, su furor se encendió.

When Elihu saw that there was no answer in the mouth of these three men, then his wrath was kindled.

So nahm denn der Busiter Elihu, der Sohn Barachels, das Wort und sagte: »Noch jung bin ich an Tagen, und ihr seid Greise; darum habe ich mich gescheut und an mich gehalten, euch mein Wissen kundzutun.

Y respondió Eliú hijo de Barachêl, Bucita, y dijo: Yo soy menor de días, y vosotros viejos; he tenido por tanto miedo, y temido declararos mi opinión.

And Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite answered and said, I am young, and ye are very old; wherefore I was afraid, and durst not shew you mine opinion.

Ich dachte: ›Das Alter mag reden und die Menge der Jahre Weisheit an den Tag legen!‹

Jedoch der Geist ist es in den Menschen und der Hauch des Allmächtigen, der ihnen Einsicht verleiht.

Ciertamente espíritu hay en el hombre, é inspiración del Omnipotente los hace que entiendan.

But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.

Nicht die Bejahrten sind die weisesten, und nicht die Greise (an sich) verstehen sich auf das, was Recht ist.

No los grandes son los sabios, ni los viejos entienden el derecho.

Great men are not always wise: neither do the aged understand judgment.

It is not the great who are wise, nor the aged who understand justice.

Darum sage ich: ›Hört mir zu! Laßt auch mich mein Wissen euch kundtun.‹

Por tanto yo dije: Escuchadme; declararé yo también mi sabiduría.

Therefore I said, Hearken to me; I also will shew mine opinion.

Seht, ich habe auf eure Reden geharrt, habe nach einsichtigen Darlegungen von euch hingehorcht, bis ihr die rechten Worte ausfindig machen würdet,

He aquí yo he esperado á vuestras razones, he escuchado vuestros argumentos, en tanto que buscabais palabras.

Behold, I waited for your words; I gave ear to your reasons, whilst ye searched out what to say.

“Behold, I waited for your words, and I listened for your reasoning, while you searched out what to say.

ja, ich habe aufmerksam auf euch achtgegeben; doch seht: keiner hat Hiob widerlegt, keiner von euch auf seine Reden die (rechte) Antwort gegeben.

Os he pues prestado atención, y he aquí que no hay de vosotros quien redarguya á Job, y responda á sus razones.

Yea, I attended unto you, and, behold, there was none of you that convinced Job, or that answered his words:

Yes, I gave you my full attention, but there was no one who convinced Job, or who answered his words, among you.

Wendet nur nicht ein: ›Wir sind (bei ihm) auf Weisheit gestoßen: nur Gott kann ihn aus dem Felde schlagen, nicht ein Mensch!‹

Porque no digáis: Nosotros hemos hallado sabiduría: lanzólo Dios, no el hombre.

Lest ye should say, We have found out wisdom: God thrusteth him down, not man.

Beware lest you say, ‘We have found wisdom. God may refute him, not man;’

Gegen mich hat er ja noch keine Beweisgründe ins Treffen geführt, und nicht mit euren Reden werde ich ihm entgegentreten.«

Ahora bien, Job no enderezó á mí sus palabras, ni yo le responderé con vuestras razones.

Now he hath not directed his words against me: neither will I answer him with your speeches.

for he has not directed his words against me; neither will I answer him with your speeches.

»Bestürzt stehen sie da, finden keine Antwort mehr; die Worte sind ihnen ausgegangen!

Espantáronse, no respondieron más: fuéronseles los razonamientos.

They were amazed, they answered no more: they left off speaking.

“They are amazed. They answer no more. They don’t have a word to say.

Und da sollte ich warten, weil sie nicht mehr reden, weil sie dastehen, ohne zu antworten?

Yo pues he esperado, porque no hablaban, antes pararon, y no respondieron más.

When I had waited, (for they spake not, but stood still, and answered no more;)

Shall I wait, because they don’t speak, because they stand still, and answer no more?

Nein, auch ich will mein Teil erwidern, auch ich will mein Wissen kundtun!

Por eso yo también responderé mi parte, también yo declararé mi juicio.

I said, I will answer also my part, I also will shew mine opinion.

Denn voll bin ich von Worten; der Geist drängt und beengt mich in meinem Inneren, zu reden.

Porque lleno estoy de palabras, y el espíritu de mi vientre me constriñe.

For I am full of matter, the spirit within me constraineth me.

For I am full of words. The spirit within me constrains me.

Seht, meiner Brust geht es wie dem Wein, dem man nicht Luft schafft: sie droht zu bersten wie neugefüllte Schläuche.

De cierto mi vientre está como el vino que no tiene respiradero, y se rompe como odres nuevos.

Behold, my belly is as wine which hath no vent; it is ready to burst like new bottles.

Behold, my breast is as wine which has no vent; like new wineskins it is ready to burst.

Reden will ich, um mir Luft zu schaffen, will meine Lippen auftun und entgegnen!

Hablaré pues y respiraré; abriré mis labios, y responderé.

I will speak, that I may be refreshed: I will open my lips and answer.

Ich will dabei für niemand Partei nehmen und keinem Menschen zu Gefallen reden;

No haré ahora acepción de personas, ni usaré con hombre de lisonjeros títulos.

Let me not, I pray you, accept any man’s person, neither let me give flattering titles unto man.

Please don’t let me respect any man’s person, neither will I give flattering titles to any man.

denn ich verstehe mich nicht darauf, zu Gefallen zu reden: gar bald würde mein Schöpfer mich sonst hinwegraffen.«

Porque no sé hablar lisonjas: de otra manera en breve mi Hacedor me consuma.

For I know not to give flattering titles; in so doing my maker would soon take me away.

For I don’t know how to give flattering titles, or else my Maker would soon take me away.
