Siehe, ich tue meinen Mund auf, und meine Zunge redet in meinem Munde.
He aquí yo abriré ahora mi boca, y mi lengua hablará en mi garganta.
Behold, now I have opened my mouth, my tongue hath spoken in my mouth.
See now, I have opened my mouth. My tongue has spoken in my mouth.
Mein Herz soil recht reden, und meine Lippen sollen den reinen Verstand sagen.
Mis razones declararán la rectitud de mi corazón, y mis labios proferirán pura sabiduría.
My words shall be of the uprightness of my heart: and my lips shall utter knowledge clearly.
My words will utter the uprightness of my heart. That which my lips know they will speak sincerely.

Siehe ich bin Gottes ebensowohl als du, und aus Leimen bin ich auch gemacht.
Heme aquí á mí en lugar de Dios, conforme á tu dicho: de lodo soy yo también formado.
Behold, I am according to thy wish in God’s stead: I also am formed out of the clay.
Behold, I am toward God even as you are. I am also formed out of the clay.
Doch du darfst vor mir nicht erschrecken, und meine Hand soli dir nicht zu schwer sein.
He aquí que mi terror no te espantará, ni mi mano se agravará sobre ti.
Behold, my terror shall not make thee afraid, neither shall my hand be heavy upon thee.

De cierto tú dijiste á oídos míos, y yo oí la voz de tus palabras que decían:
Surely thou hast spoken in mine hearing, and I have heard the voice of thy words, saying,
“Surely you have spoken in my hearing, I have heard the voice of your words, saying,
Ich bin rein, ohne Missetat, unschuldig und habe keine Sunde.
Yo soy limpio y sin defecto; y soy inocente, y no hay maldad en mí.
I am clean without transgression, I am innocent; neither is there iniquity in me.
‘I am clean, without disobedience. I am innocent, neither is there iniquity in me.
Siehe, er hat eine Sache wider mich funden, darum achtet er mich fur seinen Feind.
He aquí que él buscó achaques contra mí, y me tiene por su enemigo;
Behold, he findeth occasions against me, he counteth me for his enemy,
Behold, he finds occasions against me. He counts me for his enemy.
Er hat meinen Fuli in Stock gelegt und hat alle meine Wege verwahret.

Siehe, eben daraus schlielie ich wider dich, daß du nicht recht bist; denn Gott ist mehr weder ein Mensch.
He aquí en esto no has hablado justamente: yo te responderé que mayor es Dios que el hombre.
Behold, in this thou art not just: I will answer thee, that God is greater than man.

Warum willstdu mit ihm zanken, daß erdir nicht Rechenschaft gibt alles seines Tuns?
¿Por qué tomaste pleito contra él? Porque él no da cuenta de ninguna de sus razones.
Why dost thou strive against him? for he giveth not account of any of his matters.

Denn wenn Gott einmal etwas beschlielit, so bedenket er's nicht erst her nach.
Sin embargo, en una ó en dos maneras habla Dios; mas el hombre no entiende.
For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not.

Im Traum des Gesichts in der Nacht, wenn der Schlaf auf die Leute fallt, wenn sie schlafen auf dem Bette,
Por sueño de visión nocturna, cuando el sueño cae sobre los hombres, cuando se adormecen sobre el lecho;
In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed;

Er straft ihn mit Schmerzen auf seinem Bette und alle seine Gebeine heftig;
También sobre su cama es castigado con dolor fuerte en todos sus huesos,
He is chastened also with pain upon his bed, and the multitude of his bones with strong pain:
“He is chastened also with pain on his bed, with continual strife in his bones,
und richtet ihm sein Leben so zu, daß ihm vor der Speise ekelt, und seine Seele, daß sie nicht Lust zu essen hat.

So dann ein Engel, einer aus tausend, mit ihm redet, zu verkundigen dem Menschen, wie er solle recht tun,
Si tuviera cerca de él algún elocuente anunciador muy escogido, que anuncie al hombre su deber;
If there be a messenger with him, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to shew unto man his uprightness:
“If there is beside him an angel, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to show to man what is right for him,
so wird er ihm gnadig sein und sagen: Er soil erloset werden, daß er nicht hinunterfahre ins Verderben; denn ich habe eine Versohnung funden.
Que le diga que Dios tuvo de él misericordia, que lo libró de descender al sepulcro, que halló redención:
Then he is gracious unto him, and saith, Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom.

Sein Fleisch grüne wieder wie in der Jugend, und lali ihn wieder jung werden.
Enterneceráse su carne más que de niño, volverá á los días de su mocedad.
His flesh shall be fresher than a child’s: he shall return to the days of his youth:

Er wird Gott bitten; der wird ihm Gnade erzeigen und wird sein Antlitz sehen lassen mit Freuden und wird dem Menschen nach seiner Gerechtigkeit vergelten.
Orará á Dios, y le amará, y verá su faz con júbilo: y él restituirá al hombre su justicia.
He shall pray unto God, and he will be favourable unto him: and he shall see his face with joy: for he will render unto man his righteousness.
He prays to God, and he is favorable to him, so that he sees his face with joy. He restores to man his righteousness.
Er wird vor den Leuten bekennen und sagen: Ich wollte gesundiget und das Recht verkehret haben, aber es hatte mir nichts genutzet.
El mira sobre los hombres; y el que dijere: Pequé, y pervertí lo recto, y no me ha aprovechado;
He looketh upon men, and if any say, I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, and it profited me not;
He sings before men, and says, ‘I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, and it didn’t profit me.
Er hat meine Seele erloset, daß sie nicht fuhre ins Verderben, sondern mein Leben das Licht sahe.
Dios redimirá su alma, que no pase al sepulcro, y su vida se verá en luz.
He will deliver his soul from going into the pit, and his life shall see the light.
He has redeemed my soul from going into the pit. My life will see the light.’
Siehe, das alles tut Gott zwei Oder dreimal mit einem jeglichen,
He aquí, todas estas cosas hace Dios dos y tres veces con el hombre;
Lo, all these things worketh God oftentimes with man,
“Behold, God does all these things, twice, yes three times, with a man,
daß er seine Seele herumhole aus dem Verderben und erleuchte ihn mit dem Licht der Lebendigen.
Para apartar su alma del sepulcro, y para iluminarlo con la luz de los vivientes.

Merke auf, Hiob, und hore mirzu, und schweige, daß ich rede!
Escucha, Job, y óyeme; calla, y yo hablaré.

Hast du aber was zu sagen, so antworte mir; sage her, bist du recht, ich will's gerne horen.
Que si tuvieres razones, respóndeme: habla, porque yo te quiero justificar.
If thou hast any thing to say, answer me: speak, for I desire to justify thee.

Hast du aber nichts, so hore mir zu und schweige, ich will dich die Weisheit lehren.
Y si no, óyeme tú á mí; calla, y enseñarte he sabiduría.
If not, hearken unto me: hold thy peace, and I shall teach thee wisdom.
If not, listen to me. Hold your peace, and I will teach you wisdom.”
