He aquí yo abriré ahora mi boca, y mi lengua hablará en mi garganta.
Behold, now I have opened my mouth, my tongue hath spoken in my mouth.

La droiture de mon cœur respire dans mes paroles, et mes lèvres diront clairement ce que je sais.
Mis razones declararán la rectitud de mi corazón, y mis labios proferirán pura sabiduría.
My words shall be of the uprightness of my heart: and my lips shall utter knowledge clearly.
My words will utter the uprightness of my heart. That which my lips know they will speak sincerely.
L'esprit de Dieu m'a créé, le souffle de Dieu soutient ma vie.

Vois, je suis comme toi au regard de Dieu: je suis pétri d'argile, moi aussi.
Heme aquí á mí en lugar de Dios, conforme á tu dicho: de lodo soy yo también formado.
Behold, I am according to thy wish in God’s stead: I also am formed out of the clay.
Behold, I am toward God even as you are. I am also formed out of the clay.
Tu n'as donc pas à trembler devant moi, et mon autorité ne pèsera pas lourdement sur toi.
He aquí que mi terror no te espantará, ni mi mano se agravará sobre ti.
Behold, my terror shall not make thee afraid, neither shall my hand be heavy upon thee.

Mais tu as dit à mes oreilles j'entends encore le son de tes paroles:
De cierto tú dijiste á oídos míos, y yo oí la voz de tus palabras que decían:
Surely thou hast spoken in mine hearing, and I have heard the voice of thy words, saying,
“Surely you have spoken in my hearing, I have heard the voice of your words, saying,
"Je suis pur, sans péché; je suis à l'abri de tout blâme, n'ayant point commis de faute.
Yo soy limpio y sin defecto; y soy inocente, y no hay maldad en mí.
I am clean without transgression, I am innocent; neither is there iniquity in me.
‘I am clean, without disobedience. I am innocent, neither is there iniquity in me.
Mais quoi! Dieu trouve des griefs contre moi, il me considère comme son ennemi.
He aquí que él buscó achaques contra mí, y me tiene por su enemigo;
Behold, he findeth occasions against me, he counteth me for his enemy,
Behold, he finds occasions against me. He counts me for his enemy.
Il emprisonne mes pieds dans les ceps, surveille toutes mes voies!"
Puso mis pies en el cepo, y guardó todas mis sendas.

" Certes, en cela tu n'as pas raison, te répliquerai-je, car Dieu est plus grand que l'homme."
He aquí en esto no has hablado justamente: yo te responderé que mayor es Dios que el hombre.
Behold, in this thou art not just: I will answer thee, that God is greater than man.

Pourquoi entres-tu en lutte avec lui, sous prétexte qu'il ne rend compte d'aucun de ses décrets?

Why dost thou strive against him? for he giveth not account of any of his matters.

A la vérité, Dieu parle une fois, même deux fois; on n'y fait pas attention!
Sin embargo, en una ó en dos maneras habla Dios; mas el hombre no entiende.
For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not.

En songe, dans des visions nocturnes, lorsqu'un profond sommeil s'empare des hommes, lorsqu'ils dorment sur leurs couches,
Por sueño de visión nocturna, cuando el sueño cae sobre los hombres, cuando se adormecen sobre el lecho;
In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed;

L'homme est éprouvé par la souffrance sur sa couche, alors que la plupart de ses os demeurent intacts.
También sobre su cama es castigado con dolor fuerte en todos sus huesos,
He is chastened also with pain upon his bed, and the multitude of his bones with strong pain:
“He is chastened also with pain on his bed, with continual strife in his bones,
Tout son être a le dégoût de la nourriture, son âme repousse les mets les plus délicieux.
Que le hace que su vida aborrezca el pan, y su alma la comida suave.
So that his life abhorreth bread, and his soul dainty meat.

Sa chair se consume et disparaît à la vue; ses os, qui étaient invisibles, deviennent saillants.

S'il est alors un ange qui intercède pour lui, un seul entre mille, qui révèle à l'homme son devoir,
Si tuviera cerca de él algún elocuente anunciador muy escogido, que anuncie al hombre su deber;
If there be a messenger with him, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to shew unto man his uprightness:
“If there is beside him an angel, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to show to man what is right for him,
qui le prenne en pitié et dise: "Fais-lui grâce, pour qu'il ne descende pas dans la fosse, j'ai obtenu sa rançon",
Que le diga que Dios tuvo de él misericordia, que lo libró de descender al sepulcro, que halló redención:
Then he is gracious unto him, and saith, Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom.
then God is gracious to him, and says, ‘Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom.’
alors sa chair retrouve la sève de la jeunesse, il est rendu aux jours de son adolescence.
Enterneceráse su carne más que de niño, volverá á los días de su mocedad.
His flesh shall be fresher than a child’s: he shall return to the days of his youth:

Il implore Dieu, qui l'écoute avec bienveillance et lui permet de voir sa face avec des cris d'allégresse; il rémunère ainsi la droiture du mortel.
Orará á Dios, y le amará, y verá su faz con júbilo: y él restituirá al hombre su justicia.
He shall pray unto God, and he will be favourable unto him: and he shall see his face with joy: for he will render unto man his righteousness.
He prays to God, and he is favorable to him, so that he sees his face with joy. He restores to man his righteousness.
Celui-ci promène ses regards sur les hommes et dit: "J'avais péché, violé le droit, et cela n'était pas bien de ma part.
El mira sobre los hombres; y el que dijere: Pequé, y pervertí lo recto, y no me ha aprovechado;
He looketh upon men, and if any say, I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, and it profited me not;
He sings before men, and says, ‘I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, and it didn’t profit me.
Mais Dieu a exempté mon âme de descendre dans la fosse, ma vie jouira encore de la lumière."
Dios redimirá su alma, que no pase al sepulcro, y su vida se verá en luz.
He will deliver his soul from going into the pit, and his life shall see the light.

Voyez, tout cela, Dieu le fait deux ou trois fois en faveur de l'homme,
He aquí, todas estas cosas hace Dios dos y tres veces con el hombre;
Lo, all these things worketh God oftentimes with man,
“Behold, God does all these things, twice, yes three times, with a man,
pour ramener son âme des bords de l'abîme, et l'éclairer de la lumière des vivants.
Para apartar su alma del sepulcro, y para iluminarlo con la luz de los vivientes.

Sois attentif, Job, écoute-moi; fais silence et laisse-moi parler.

Si tu as quelque chose à dire, réplique-moi; parle, car je souhaite te voir justifié.
Que si tuvieres razones, respóndeme: habla, porque yo te quiero justificar.

Si non, c'est à toi à m'écouter; tais-toi, et je t'enseignerai la sagesse.
