"Ouvi as minhas palavras, homens sábios; escutai-me, vós, que tendes conhecimento.
Oid, sabios, mis palabras; y vosotros, doctos, estadme atentos.
Hear my words, O ye wise men; and give ear unto me, ye that have knowledge.
“Hear my words, you wise men. Give ear to me, you who have knowledge.
Pois o ouvido distingue as palavras assim como o paladar saboreia a comida.
Porque el oído prueba las palabras, como el paladar gusta para comer.
For the ear trieth words, as the mouth tasteth meat.
For the ear tries words, as the palate tastes food.
Que escolhamos por nós mesmos o que é justo: que descubramos entre nós o que é bom.
Escojamos para nosotros el juicio, conozcamos entre nosotros cuál sea lo bueno:
Let us choose to us judgment: let us know among ourselves what is good.
Let us choose for us that which is right. Let us know among ourselves what is good.
Pois Jó disse: 'Eu sou justo, mas Deus tirou meus direitos.
Porque Job ha dicho: Yo soy justo, y Dios me ha quitado mi derecho.
For Job hath said, I am righteous: and God hath taken away my judgment.
For Job has said, ‘I am righteous, God has taken away my right.
Apesar dos meus direitos, eu sou considerado um mentiroso. Minhas feridas são incuráveis, embora sem pecado'.
¿He de mentir yo contra mi razón? Mi saeta es gravosa sin haber yo prevaricado.
Should I lie against my right? my wound is incurable without transgression.
Notwithstanding my right I am considered a liar. My wound is incurable, though I am without disobedience.’
Que homem é como Jó, que bebe zombaria como água,
¿Qué hombre hay como Job, que bebe el escarnio como agua?
What man is like Job, who drinketh up scorning like water?
What man is like Job, who drinks scorn like water,
que anda na companhia daqueles que fazem o mal e dos homens perversos?
Y va en compañía con los que obran iniquidad, y anda con los hombres maliciosos.
Which goeth in company with the workers of iniquity, and walketh with wicked men.

Pois ele disse: 'É inútil uma pessoa ter prazer fazendo o que Deus quer'.
Porque ha dicho: De nada servirá al hombre el conformar su voluntad con Dios.
For he hath said, It profiteth a man nothing that he should delight himself with God.
For he has said, ‘It profits a man nothing that he should delight himself with God.’
Escutai-me, vós, homens de entendimento: longe de Deus fazer maldade; longe do Todo Poderoso cometer pecado.
Por tanto, varones de seso, oidme: Lejos esté de Dios la impiedad, y del Omnipotente la iniquidad.
Therefore hearken unto me, ye men of understanding: far be it from God, that he should do wickedness; and from the Almighty, that he should commit iniquity.
“Therefore listen to me, you men of understanding: far be it from God, that he should do wickedness, from the Almighty, that he should commit iniquity.
Porque Ele paga o trabalho de uma pessoa; recompensa a todo homem nos seus próprios caminhos.
Porque él pagará al hombre según su obra, y él le hará hallar conforme á su camino.
For the work of a man shall he render unto him, and cause every man to find according to his ways.
For the work of a man he will give to him, and cause every man to find according to his ways.
Certamente, Deus não faz maldade, o Todo Poderoso nunca perverte a justiça.
Sí, por cierto, Dios no hará injusticia, y el Omnipotente no pervertirá el derecho.
Yea, surely God will not do wickedly, neither will the Almighty pervert judgment.

A quem Deus entregou autoridade para governar toda a Terra? Quem colocou todo mundo sob Sua autoridade?
¿Quién visitó por él la tierra? ¿y quién puso en orden todo el mundo?
Who hath given him a charge over the earth? or who hath disposed the whole world?
Who put him in charge of the earth? Or who has appointed him over the whole world?
Se as Suas intenções fossem definidas somente Nele, e, se Ele juntasse de volta para Si mesmo o Seu espírito e Seu sopro,
Si él pusiese sobre el hombre su corazón, y recogiese así su espíritu y su aliento,
If he set his heart upon man, if he gather unto himself his spirit and his breath;
If he set his heart on himself, if he gathered to himself his spirit and his breath,
então, toda carne junta pereceria; a humanidade voltaria ao pó.
Toda carne perecería juntamente, y el hombre se tornaría en polvo.
All flesh shall perish together, and man shall turn again unto dust.

Se agora tendes entendimento, escutai isto: escutai o som das minhas palavras.
Si pues hay en ti entendimiento, oye esto: escucha la voz de mis palabras.
If now thou hast understanding, hear this: hearken to the voice of my words.
“If now you have understanding, hear this. Listen to the voice of my words.
Pode alguém que odeia justiça governar? Condenarás a Deus, que é justo e poderoso?
¿Enseñorearáse el que aborrece juicio? ¿y condenarás tú al que es tan justo?
Shall even he that hateth right govern? and wilt thou condemn him that is most just?
Should even one who hates justice govern? Will you condemn him who is righteous and mighty,
Deus, que fala ao rei: 'Tu és vil', ou aos nobres: 'Vós sois maus'?
¿Hase de decir al rey: Perverso; y á los príncipes: Impíos?
Is it fit to say to a king, Thou art wicked? and to princes, Ye are ungodly?
who says to a king, ‘Vile!’ or to nobles, ‘Wicked!’?
Deus, que não faz acepção entre pessoas e os líderes; não estima as pessoas ricas mais que as pobres, porque todos são obras de Suas mãos.
¿Cuánto menos á aquel que no hace acepción de personas de príncipes, ni el rico es de él más respetado que el pobre? porque todos son obras de sus manos.
How much less to him that accepteth not the persons of princes, nor regardeth the rich more than the poor? for they all are the work of his hands.
He doesn’t respect the persons of princes, nor respect the rich more than the poor, for they all are the work of his hands.
Num momento, eles morrerão; à meia noite, pessoas serão agitadas e morrerão; pessoas poderosas morrerão, mas não por mãos humanas.
En un momento morirán, y á media noche se alborotarán los pueblos, y pasarán, y sin mano será quitado el poderoso.
In a moment shall they die, and the people shall be troubled at midnight, and pass away: and the mighty shall be taken away without hand.
In a moment they die, even at midnight. The people are shaken and pass away. The mighty are taken away without a hand.
Porque os olhos de Deus estão sobre os caminhos das pessoas; Ele vê todos os seus passos.

For his eyes are upon the ways of man, and he seeth all his goings.
“For his eyes are on the ways of a man. He sees all his goings.
Não há escuridão ou densas trevas onde os praticantes da iniquidade podem esconderem-se.
No hay tinieblas ni sombra de muerte donde se encubran los que obran maldad.
There is no darkness, nor shadow of death, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves.
There is no darkness, nor thick gloom, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves.
Porque Deus não precisa examinar mais a pessoa; não há necessidade de comparecer diante Dele para o julgamento.
No carga pues él al hombre más de lo justo, para que vaya con Dios á juicio.
For he will not lay upon man more than right; that he should enter into judgment with God.
For he doesn’t need to consider a man further, that he should go before God in judgment.
Ele quebra homens poderosos em pedaços; seus caminhos não precisam de mais investigação; põe os outros em seus lugares.
El quebrantará á los fuertes sin pesquisa, y hará estar otros en su lugar.
He shall break in pieces mighty men without number, and set others in their stead.
He breaks mighty men in pieces in ways past finding out, and sets others in their place.
Dessa forma, Ele tem conhecimento dos seus feitos; Ele lança essas pessoas na escuridão, elas são destruídas.
Por tanto él hará notorias las obras de ellos, cuando los trastornará en la noche, y serán quebrantados.
Therefore he knoweth their works, and he overturneth them in the night, so that they are destroyed.
Therefore he takes knowledge of their works. He overturns them in the night, so that they are destroyed.
À vista dos outros, Ele os mata devido aos seus maus feitos como criminosos.
Como á malos los herirá en lugar donde sean vistos:
He striketh them as wicked men in the open sight of others;
He strikes them as wicked men in the open sight of others;
Porque deixaram de segui-Lo e não quiseram reconhecer nenhum dos Seus caminhos.
Por cuanto así se apartaron de él, y no consideraron todos sus caminos;
Because they turned back from him, and would not consider any of his ways:
because they turned away from following him, and wouldn’t pay attention to any of his ways,
Assim, eles fazem o clamor do povo pobre chegar a Ele. Ele ouve o choro do povo aflito.
Haciendo venir delante de él el clamor del pobre, y que oiga el clamor de los necesitados.
So that they cause the cry of the poor to come unto him, and he heareth the cry of the afflicted.
so that they caused the cry of the poor to come to him. He heard the cry of the afflicted.
Quando Ele fica em silêncio, quem pode Lhe condenar? Se Ele esconde a Sua face, quem O pode encontrar? Ele reina sobre as nações e todas as pessoas,
Y si él diere reposo, ¿quién inquietará? si escondiere el rostro, ¿quién lo mirará? Esto sobre una nación, y lo mismo sobre un hombre;
When he giveth quietness, who then can make trouble? and when he hideth his face, who then can behold him? whether it be done against a nation, or against a man only:
When he gives quietness, who then can condemn? When he hides his face, who then can see him? He is over a nation or a man alike,
de modo que o homem corrupto não reine e não haja ninguém que engane o povo.
Haciendo que no reine el hombre hipócrita para vejaciones del pueblo.
That the hypocrite reign not, lest the people be ensnared.
that the godless man may not reign, that there be no one to ensnare the people.
Imagina que alguém diga a Deus: 'Certamente sou culpado, mas não irei pecar mais;
De seguro conviene se diga á Dios: Llevado he ya castigo, no más ofenderé:
Surely it is meet to be said unto God, I have borne chastisement, I will not offend any more:
“For has any said to God, ‘I am guilty, but I will not offend any more.
ensina-me o que eu não posso ver; eu cometi pecado, mas não farei mais'.
Enséñame tú lo que yo no veo: que si hice mal, no lo haré más.
That which I see not teach thou me: if I have done iniquity, I will do no more.
Teach me that which I don’t see. If I have done iniquity, I will do it no more’?
Tu pensas que Deus irá punir o pecado dessa pessoa, ainda que tu não gostes do que Deus faz? Deve escolher, não eu. Assim, diz aquilo que tu sabes.
¿Ha de ser eso según tu mente? El te retribuirá, ora rehuses, ora aceptes, y no yo: di si no, lo que tú sabes.
Should it be according to thy mind? he will recompense it, whether thou refuse, or whether thou choose; and not I: therefore speak what thou knowest.
Shall his recompense be as you desire, that you refuse it? For you must choose, and not I. Therefore speak what you know.
Homens de entendimento me dirão — de fato, qualquer homem sábio que me ouvir dirá:
Los hombres de seso dirán conmigo, y el hombre sabio me oirá:
Let men of understanding tell me, and let a wise man hearken unto me.
Men of understanding will tell me, yes, every wise man who hears me:
'Jó fala sem conhecimento, suas palavras são sem entendimento'.
Que Job no habla con sabiduría, y que sus palabras no son con entendimiento.
Job hath spoken without knowledge, and his words were without wisdom.
‘Job speaks without knowledge. His words are without wisdom.’
Se tão somente Jó colocado em julgamento, nos pequenos detalhes, devido à sua fala como dos homens maus.
Deseo yo que Job sea probado ampliamente, á causa de sus respuestas por los hombres inicuos.
My desire is that Job may be tried unto the end because of his answers for wicked men.
I wish that Job were tried to the end, because of his answering like wicked men.
Ele adiciona rebelião ao seu pecado; aplaude, zombando no nosso meio; ele continuou falando palavras más contra Deus".
Porque á su pecado añadió impiedad: bate las manos entre nosotros, y contra Dios multiplica sus palabras.
For he addeth rebellion unto his sin, he clappeth his hands among us, and multiplieth his words against God.
For he adds rebellion to his sin. He claps his hands among us, and multiplies his words against God.”
