Job 34

Und Elihu hob wieder an und sprach:

ADEMÁS respondió Eliú, y dijo:

Furthermore Elihu answered and said,

Moreover Elihu answered,

Höret, ihr Weisen, meine Worte, und ihr Verständigen, merket auf mich!

Oid, sabios, mis palabras; y vosotros, doctos, estadme atentos.

Hear my words, O ye wise men; and give ear unto me, ye that have knowledge.

“Hear my words, you wise men. Give ear to me, you who have knowledge.

Denn das Ohr prüft die Rede, wie der Gaumen die Speise schmeckt.

Porque el oído prueba las palabras, como el paladar gusta para comer.

For the ear trieth words, as the mouth tasteth meat.

For the ear tries words, as the palate tastes food.

Das Rechte wollen wir uns erwählen und untereinander ausmachen, was gut ist.

Escojamos para nosotros el juicio, conozcamos entre nosotros cuál sea lo bueno:

Let us choose to us judgment: let us know among ourselves what is good.

Let us choose for us that which is right. Let us know among ourselves what is good.

Denn Hiob behauptet: «Ich bin gerecht, aber Gott hat mir mein Recht entzogen.

Porque Job ha dicho: Yo soy justo, y Dios me ha quitado mi derecho.

For Job hath said, I am righteous: and God hath taken away my judgment.

For Job has said, ‘I am righteous, God has taken away my right.

Bei all meinem Recht werde ich zum Lügner gestempelt, tödlich verwundet bin ich vom Pfeil, ohne Schuld!»

¿He de mentir yo contra mi razón? Mi saeta es gravosa sin haber yo prevaricado.

Should I lie against my right? my wound is incurable without transgression.

Notwithstanding my right I am considered a liar. My wound is incurable, though I am without disobedience.’

Wo ist ein Mann wie Hiob, der Lästerung trinkt wie Wasser,

¿Qué hombre hay como Job, que bebe el escarnio como agua?

What man is like Job, who drinketh up scorning like water?

What man is like Job, who drinks scorn like water,

der so wie er in Gesellschaft der Übeltäter wandelt und mit gottlosen Leuten umgeht?

Y va en compañía con los que obran iniquidad, y anda con los hombres maliciosos.

Which goeth in company with the workers of iniquity, and walketh with wicked men.

who goes in company with the workers of iniquity, and walks with wicked men?

Denn er hat gesagt: «Es nützt dem Menschen nichts, wenn er mit Gott Freundschaft pflegt!»

Porque ha dicho: De nada servirá al hombre el conformar su voluntad con Dios.

For he hath said, It profiteth a man nothing that he should delight himself with God.

For he has said, ‘It profits a man nothing that he should delight himself with God.’

Darum, ihr verständigen Männer, hört mir zu: Fern sei es von Gott, sich Gewalttätigkeiten zu erlauben, und von dem Allmächtigen, Unrecht zu tun;

Por tanto, varones de seso, oidme: Lejos esté de Dios la impiedad, y del Omnipotente la iniquidad.

Therefore hearken unto me, ye men of understanding: far be it from God, that he should do wickedness; and from the Almighty, that he should commit iniquity.

“Therefore listen to me, you men of understanding: far be it from God, that he should do wickedness, from the Almighty, that he should commit iniquity.

sondern er bezahlt dem Menschen, wie er es verdient, und läßt einem jeden widerfahren nach seinem Wandel.

Porque él pagará al hombre según su obra, y él le hará hallar conforme á su camino.

For the work of a man shall he render unto him, and cause every man to find according to his ways.

For the work of a man he will give to him, and cause every man to find according to his ways.

Ja wahrlich, Gott tut kein Unrecht, und der Allmächtige beugt das Recht nicht!

Sí, por cierto, Dios no hará injusticia, y el Omnipotente no pervertirá el derecho.

Yea, surely God will not do wickedly, neither will the Almighty pervert judgment.

Yes surely, God will not do wickedly, neither will the Almighty pervert justice.

Wessen Obhut ist die Erde unterstellt, und wer gibt acht auf die ganze Welt?

¿Quién visitó por él la tierra? ¿y quién puso en orden todo el mundo?

Who hath given him a charge over the earth? or who hath disposed the whole world?

Who put him in charge of the earth? Or who has appointed him over the whole world?

Wenn er nur noch auf sich selbst achtete und seinen Geist und Odem wieder zu sich nähme,

Si él pusiese sobre el hombre su corazón, y recogiese así su espíritu y su aliento,

If he set his heart upon man, if he gather unto himself his spirit and his breath;

If he set his heart on himself, if he gathered to himself his spirit and his breath,

so würde alles Fleisch miteinander vergehen und der Mensch wieder zum Staube kehren.

Toda carne perecería juntamente, y el hombre se tornaría en polvo.

All flesh shall perish together, and man shall turn again unto dust.

all flesh would perish together, and man would turn again to dust.

Hast du nun Verstand, so höre dies und merke auf die Stimme meiner Worte!

Si pues hay en ti entendimiento, oye esto: escucha la voz de mis palabras.

If now thou hast understanding, hear this: hearken to the voice of my words.

“If now you have understanding, hear this. Listen to the voice of my words.

Könnte auch einer, der das Recht haßt, herrschen, oder willst du den Gerechten, den Mächtigen, verdammen?

¿Enseñorearáse el que aborrece juicio? ¿y condenarás tú al que es tan justo?

Shall even he that hateth right govern? and wilt thou condemn him that is most just?

Should even one who hates justice govern? Will you condemn him who is righteous and mighty,

Darf man zum König sagen: Du Nichtsnutz! und zu den Edlen: Ihr seid ungerecht?

¿Hase de decir al rey: Perverso; y á los príncipes: Impíos?

Is it fit to say to a king, Thou art wicked? and to princes, Ye are ungodly?

who says to a king, ‘Vile!’ or to nobles, ‘Wicked!’?

wieviel weniger zu dem, der die Person der Fürsten nicht ansieht und den Reichen nicht mehr achtet als den Armen; denn sie sind alle seiner Hände Werk.

¿Cuánto menos á aquel que no hace acepción de personas de príncipes, ni el rico es de él más respetado que el pobre? porque todos son obras de sus manos.

How much less to him that accepteth not the persons of princes, nor regardeth the rich more than the poor? for they all are the work of his hands.

He doesn’t respect the persons of princes, nor respect the rich more than the poor, for they all are the work of his hands.

Plötzlich sterben sie, mitten in der Nacht; Völker wanken und gehen dahin, und er beseitigt Tyrannen ohne Menschenhand.

En un momento morirán, y á media noche se alborotarán los pueblos, y pasarán, y sin mano será quitado el poderoso.

In a moment shall they die, and the people shall be troubled at midnight, and pass away: and the mighty shall be taken away without hand.

In a moment they die, even at midnight. The people are shaken and pass away. The mighty are taken away without a hand.

Denn Gottes Augen sind auf die Wege eines jeden gerichtet, und er sieht jeden Schritt, den einer macht.

Porque sus ojos están sobre los caminos del hombre, y ve todos sus pasos.

For his eyes are upon the ways of man, and he seeth all his goings.

“For his eyes are on the ways of a man. He sees all his goings.

Es gibt keine Finsternis und keinen Todesschatten, wo die Übeltäter sich verbergen könnten.

No hay tinieblas ni sombra de muerte donde se encubran los que obran maldad.

There is no darkness, nor shadow of death, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves.

There is no darkness, nor thick gloom, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves.

Ja, er braucht den Menschen, der vor Gott zu Gerichte geht, nicht erst noch zu untersuchen.

No carga pues él al hombre más de lo justo, para que vaya con Dios á juicio.

For he will not lay upon man more than right; that he should enter into judgment with God.

For he doesn’t need to consider a man further, that he should go before God in judgment.

Er zerschmettert Gewaltige ohne Untersuchung und setzt andere an deren Statt.

El quebrantará á los fuertes sin pesquisa, y hará estar otros en su lugar.

He shall break in pieces mighty men without number, and set others in their stead.

He breaks mighty men in pieces in ways past finding out, and sets others in their place.

Weil er ihre Werke kennt, darum kehrt er sie um über Nacht, und sie werden zermalmt.

Por tanto él hará notorias las obras de ellos, cuando los trastornará en la noche, y serán quebrantados.

Therefore he knoweth their works, and he overturneth them in the night, so that they are destroyed.

Therefore he takes knowledge of their works. He overturns them in the night, so that they are destroyed.

Als Gottlose züchtigt er sie vor aller Augen darum,

Como á malos los herirá en lugar donde sean vistos:

He striketh them as wicked men in the open sight of others;

He strikes them as wicked men in the open sight of others;

daß sie von ihm abgefallen sind und keinen seiner Wege beachtet haben,

Por cuanto así se apartaron de él, y no consideraron todos sus caminos;

Because they turned back from him, and would not consider any of his ways:

because they turned away from following him, and wouldn’t pay attention to any of his ways,

und weil des Armen Geschrei zu ihm gelangt ist und er das Schreien der Unterdrückten erhört hat.

Haciendo venir delante de él el clamor del pobre, y que oiga el clamor de los necesitados.

So that they cause the cry of the poor to come unto him, and he heareth the cry of the afflicted.

so that they caused the cry of the poor to come to him. He heard the cry of the afflicted.

Wenn er Frieden gibt, wer will verdammen? Wenn er aber sein Angesicht verbirgt, wer kann ihn schauen? †So handelt er sowohl über einem Volk, als auch über dem einzelnen Menschen,

Y si él diere reposo, ¿quién inquietará? si escondiere el rostro, ¿quién lo mirará? Esto sobre una nación, y lo mismo sobre un hombre;

When he giveth quietness, who then can make trouble? and when he hideth his face, who then can behold him? whether it be done against a nation, or against a man only:

When he gives quietness, who then can condemn? When he hides his face, who then can see him? He is over a nation or a man alike,

damit nicht gottlose Menschen regieren und das Volk in Fallstricke gerät.

Haciendo que no reine el hombre hipócrita para vejaciones del pueblo.

That the hypocrite reign not, lest the people be ensnared.

that the godless man may not reign, that there be no one to ensnare the people.

Darf man zu Gott sagen: Ich muß †Strafe tragen und habe doch nichts verbrochen?

De seguro conviene se diga á Dios: Llevado he ya castigo, no más ofenderé:

Surely it is meet to be said unto God, I have borne chastisement, I will not offend any more:

“For has any said to God, ‘I am guilty, but I will not offend any more.

†Nein, sondern: Was ich nicht sehe, lehre du mich, und habe ich Unrecht getan, so will ich's nicht mehr tun!

Enséñame tú lo que yo no veo: que si hice mal, no lo haré más.

That which I see not teach thou me: if I have done iniquity, I will do no more.

Teach me that which I don’t see. If I have done iniquity, I will do it no more’?

Soll Er nach deinem Sinn Vergeltung üben, weil du verwirfst? Denn du mußt wählen, und nicht ich; was du weißt, das sage an!

¿Ha de ser eso según tu mente? El te retribuirá, ora rehuses, ora aceptes, y no yo: di si no, lo que tú sabes.

Should it be according to thy mind? he will recompense it, whether thou refuse, or whether thou choose; and not I: therefore speak what thou knowest.

Shall his recompense be as you desire, that you refuse it? For you must choose, and not I. Therefore speak what you know.

Verständige Männer werden mir zustimmen und jeder weise Mann, der mir zuhört:

Los hombres de seso dirán conmigo, y el hombre sabio me oirá:

Let men of understanding tell me, and let a wise man hearken unto me.

Men of understanding will tell me, yes, every wise man who hears me:

Hiob redet wie ein Unwissender, und seine Worte zeugen nicht von Verstand.

Que Job no habla con sabiduría, y que sus palabras no son con entendimiento.

Job hath spoken without knowledge, and his words were without wisdom.

‘Job speaks without knowledge. His words are without wisdom.’

Möchte Hiob fort und fort geprüft werden, weil er sich zu den gottlosen Leuten geschlagen hat!

Deseo yo que Job sea probado ampliamente, á causa de sus respuestas por los hombres inicuos.

My desire is that Job may be tried unto the end because of his answers for wicked men.

I wish that Job were tried to the end, because of his answering like wicked men.

Denn zu seiner Sünde fügt er Abfall hinzu, er verhöhnt uns und redet viel wider Gott!

Porque á su pecado añadió impiedad: bate las manos entre nosotros, y contra Dios multiplica sus palabras.

For he addeth rebellion unto his sin, he clappeth his hands among us, and multiplieth his words against God.

For he adds rebellion to his sin. He claps his hands among us, and multiplies his words against God.”
