Espera-me um pouco, e eu te mostrarei que ainda há palavras a favor de Deus.

Suffer me a little, and I will shew thee that I have yet to speak on God’s behalf.
“Bear with me a little, and I will show you; for I still have something to say on God’s behalf.
Desde longe trarei meu conhecimento, e a meu Criador atribuirei a justiça.
Tomaré mi noticia de lejos, y atribuiré justicia á mi Hacedor.
I will fetch my knowledge from afar, and will ascribe righteousness to my Maker.
I will get my knowledge from afar, and will ascribe righteousness to my Maker.
Porque verdadeiramente minhas palavras não serão falsas; contigo está um que tem completo conhecimento.
Porque de cierto no son mentira mis palabras; contigo está el que es íntegro en sus conceptos.
For truly my words shall not be false: he that is perfect in knowledge is with thee.
For truly my words are not false. One who is perfect in knowledge is with you.
Eis que Deus é grande, porém despreza ninguém; grande ele é em poder de entendimento.
He aquí que Dios es grande, mas no desestima á nadie: es poderoso en fuerza de sabiduría.
Behold, God is mighty, and despiseth not any: he is mighty in strength and wisdom.
“Behold, God is mighty, and doesn’t despise anyone. He is mighty in strength of understanding.
Ele não permite o perverso viver, e faz justiça aos aflitos.
No otorgará vida al impío, y á los afligidos dará su derecho.
He preserveth not the life of the wicked: but giveth right to the poor.
He doesn’t preserve the life of the wicked, but gives justice to the afflicted.
Ele não tira seus olhos do justo; ao contrário, ele os faz sentar com os reis no trono, e assim são exaltados.
No quitará sus ojos del justo; antes bien con los reyes los pondrá en solio para siempre, y serán ensalzados.
He withdraweth not his eyes from the righteous: but with kings are they on the throne; yea, he doth establish them for ever, and they are exalted.

E se estiverem presos em grilhões, e detidos com cordas de aflição,
Y si estuvieren prendidos en grillos, y aprisionados en las cuerdas de aflicción,
And if they be bound in fetters, and be holden in cords of affliction;
If they are bound in fetters, and are taken in the cords of afflictions,
Então ele lhes faz saber as obras que fizeram, e suas transgressões, das quais se orgulharam.
El les dará á conocer la obra de ellos, y que prevalecieron sus rebeliones.
Then he sheweth them their work, and their transgressions that they have exceeded.

E revela a seus ouvidos, para que sejam disciplinados; e lhes diz, para que se convertam da maldade.
Despierta además el oído de ellos para la corrección, y díceles que se conviertan de la iniquidad.

Se ouvirem, e o servirem, acabarão seus dias em prosperidade, e seus anos em prazeres.
Si oyeren, y le sirvieren, acabarán sus días en bien, y sus años en deleites.
If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.
If they listen and serve him, they will spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.
Porém se não ouvirem, perecerão pela espada, e morrerão sem conhecimento.
Mas si no oyeren, serán pasados á cuchillo, y perecerán sin sabiduría.
But if they obey not, they shall perish by the sword, and they shall die without knowledge.
But if they don’t listen, they will perish by the sword; they will die without knowledge.
E os hipócritas de coração acumulam a ira divina ; e quando ele os amarrar, mesmo assim não clamam.
Empero los hipócritas de corazón lo irritarán más, y no clamarán cuando él los atare.
But the hypocrites in heart heap up wrath: they cry not when he bindeth them.
“But those who are godless in heart lay up anger. They don’t cry for help when he binds them.
A alma deles morrerá em sua juventude, e sua vida entre os pervertidos.
Fallecerá el alma de ellos en su mocedad, y su vida entre los sodomitas.
They die in youth, and their life is among the unclean.
They die in youth. Their life perishes among the unclean.
Ele livra o aflito de sua aflição, e na opressão ele revela a seus ouvidos.
Al pobre librará de su pobreza, y en la aflicción despertará su oído.
He delivereth the poor in his affliction, and openeth their ears in oppression.
He delivers the afflicted by their affliction, and opens their ear in oppression.
Assim também ele pode te desviar da boca da angústia para um lugar amplo, onde não haveria aperto; para o conforto de tua mesa, cheia dos melhores alimentos.
Asimismo te apartaría de la boca de la angustia á lugar espacioso, libre de todo apuro; y te asentará mesa llena de grosura.
Even so would he have removed thee out of the strait into a broad place, where there is no straitness; and that which should be set on thy table should be full of fatness.
Yes, he would have allured you out of distress, into a wide place, where there is no restriction. That which is set on your table would be full of fatness.
Mas tu estás cheio do julgamento do perverso; o julgamento e a justiça te tomam.
Mas tú has llenado el juicio del impío, en vez de sustentar el juicio y la justicia.
But thou hast fulfilled the judgment of the wicked: judgment and justice take hold on thee.
“But you are full of the judgment of the wicked. Judgment and justice take hold of you.
Por causa da furor, guarda-te para que não sejas seduzido pela riqueza, nem que um grande suborno te faça desviar.
Por lo cual teme que en su ira no te quite con golpe, el cual no puedas apartar de ti con gran rescate.
Because there is wrath, beware lest he take thee away with his stroke: then a great ransom cannot deliver thee.
Don’t let riches entice you to wrath, neither let the great size of a bribe turn you aside.
Pode, por acaso, a tua riqueza te sustentar para que não tenhas aflição, mesmo com todos os esforços de teu poder?
¿Hará él estima de tus riquezas, ni del oro, ni de todas las fuerzas del poder?
Will he esteem thy riches? no, not gold, nor all the forces of strength.
Would your wealth sustain you in distress, or all the might of your strength?
Não anseies pela noite, em que os povos são tomados de seu lugar.
No anheles la noche, en que desaparecen los pueblos de su lugar.
Desire not the night, when people are cut off in their place.
Don’t desire the night, when people are cut off in their place.
Guarda-te, e não te voltes para a maldade; pois por isto que tens sido testado com miséria.
Guárdate, no tornes á la iniquidad; pues ésta escogiste más bien que la aflicción.
Take heed, regard not iniquity: for this hast thou chosen rather than affliction.
Take heed, don’t regard iniquity; for you have chosen this rather than affliction.
Eis que Deus é exaltado em seu poder; que instrutor há como ele?
He aquí que Dios es excelso con su potencia: ¿qué enseñador semejante á él?
Behold, God exalteth by his power: who teacheth like him?
Behold, God is exalted in his power. Who is a teacher like him?
Quem lhe indica o seu caminho? Quem poderá lhe dizer: Cometeste maldade?
¿Quién le ha prescrito su camino? ¿y quién le dirá: Iniquidad has hecho?
Who hath enjoined him his way? or who can say, Thou hast wrought iniquity?
Who has prescribed his way for him? Or who can say, ‘You have committed unrighteousness’?
Lembra-te de engrandeceres sua obra, a qual os seres humanos contemplam.
Acuérdate de engrandecer su obra, la cual contemplan los hombres.
Remember that thou magnify his work, which men behold.
“Remember that you magnify his work, about which men have sung.
Todas as pessoas a veem; o ser humano a enxerga de longe.
Los hombres todos la ven; mírala el hombre de lejos.
Every man may see it; man may behold it afar off.
All men have looked on it. Man sees it afar off.
Eis que Deus é grande, e nós não o compreendemos; não se pode descobrir o número de seus anos.
He aquí, Dios es grande, y nosotros no le conocemos; ni se puede rastrear el número de sus años.
Behold, God is great, and we know him not, neither can the number of his years be searched out.
Behold, God is great, and we don’t know him. The number of his years is unsearchable.
Ele traz para cima as gotas das águas, que derramam a chuva de seu vapor;
El reduce las gotas de las aguas, al derramarse la lluvia según el vapor;
For he maketh small the drops of water: they pour down rain according to the vapour thereof:
For he draws up the drops of water, which distill in rain from his vapor,
A qual as nuvens destilam, gotejando abundantemente sobre o ser humano.
Las cuales destilan las nubes, goteando en abundancia sobre los hombres.
Which the clouds do drop and distil upon man abundantly.
which the skies pour down and which drop on man abundantly.
Poderá alguém entender a extensão das nuvens, e os estrondos de seu pavilhão?
¿Quién podrá tampoco comprender la extensión de las nubes, y el sonido estrepitoso de su pabellón?
Also can any understand the spreadings of the clouds, or the noise of his tabernacle?
Indeed, can anyone understand the spreading of the clouds and the thunderings of his pavilion?
Eis que estende sobre ele sua luz, e cobre as profundezas do mar.
He aquí que sobre él extiende su luz, y cobija con ella las raíces de la mar.
Behold, he spreadeth his light upon it, and covereth the bottom of the sea.
Behold, he spreads his light around him. He covers the bottom of the sea.
Pois por estas coisas ele julga aos povos, e dá alimento em abundância.
Bien que por esos medios castiga á los pueblos, á la multitud da comida.
For by them judgeth he the people; he giveth meat in abundance.
For by these he judges the people. He gives food in abundance.
Ele cobre as mãos com o relâmpago, e dá ordens para que atinja o alvo.
Con las nubes encubre la luz, y mándale no brillar, interponiendo aquéllas.
With clouds he covereth the light; and commandeth it not to shine by the cloud that cometh betwixt.
He covers his hands with the lightning, and commands it to strike the mark.
O trovão anuncia sua presença; o gado também prenuncia a tempestade que se aproxima.
Tocante á ella anunciará el trueno, su compañero, que hay acumulación de ira sobre el que se eleva.
The noise thereof sheweth concerning it, the cattle also concerning the vapour.
Its noise tells about him, and the livestock also, concerning the storm that comes up.
