Job 36

Patiente un moment encore afin que je t'instruise ; je sens en moi bien des choses à dire.

Espérame un poco, y enseñarte he; porque todavía tengo razones en orden á Dios.

Suffer me a little, and I will shew thee that I have yet to speak on God’s behalf.

“Bear with me a little, and I will show you; for I still have something to say on God’s behalf.

Je reprendrai de loin ce que je sais, et, d'accord avec mes œuvres,

Tomaré mi noticia de lejos, y atribuiré justicia á mi Hacedor.

I will fetch my knowledge from afar, and will ascribe righteousness to my Maker.

I will get my knowledge from afar, and will ascribe righteousness to my Maker.

Je te parlerai sincèrement, en homme qui ne conçoit rien d'injuste.

Porque de cierto no son mentira mis palabras; contigo está el que es íntegro en sus conceptos.

For truly my words shall not be false: he that is perfect in knowledge is with thee.

For truly my words are not false. One who is perfect in knowledge is with you.

Apprends que jamais Dieu, en la force de son cœur, ne repoussera l'innocence.

He aquí que Dios es grande, mas no desestima á nadie: es poderoso en fuerza de sabiduría.

Behold, God is mighty, and despiseth not any: he is mighty in strength and wisdom.

“Behold, God is mighty, and doesn’t despise anyone. He is mighty in strength of understanding.

Jamais il ne vivifiera l'impie ; il ne refusera point de juger l'indigent.

No otorgará vida al impío, y á los afligidos dará su derecho.

He preserveth not the life of the wicked: but giveth right to the poor.

He doesn’t preserve the life of the wicked, but gives justice to the afflicted.

Il ne détournera pas ses regards du juste ; il le placera sur le trône avec les rois ; il le fera triompher comme eux ; ils seront pareillement glorifiés.

No quitará sus ojos del justo; antes bien con los reyes los pondrá en solio para siempre, y serán ensalzados.

He withdraweth not his eyes from the righteous: but with kings are they on the throne; yea, he doth establish them for ever, and they are exalted.

He doesn’t withdraw his eyes from the righteous, but with kings on the throne, he sets them forever, and they are exalted.

Ceux qu'auront pris des entraves ou les liens de la pauvreté,

Y si estuvieren prendidos en grillos, y aprisionados en las cuerdas de aflicción,

And if they be bound in fetters, and be holden in cords of affliction;

If they are bound in fetters, and are taken in the cords of afflictions,

Il se contentera de leur faire connaître leurs fautes et leurs œuvres ; car ils se raffermiront.

El les dará á conocer la obra de ellos, y que prevalecieron sus rebeliones.

Then he sheweth them their work, and their transgressions that they have exceeded.

Mais il écoutera les justes, parce qu'il est résolu à les corriger de l'iniquité.

Despierta además el oído de ellos para la corrección, y díceles que se conviertan de la iniquidad.

He openeth also their ear to discipline, and commandeth that they return from iniquity.

He also opens their ears to instruction, and commands that they return from iniquity.

S'ils lui sont dociles et le servent, ils achèveront leurs jours dans l'abondance des biens, et leurs années dans les grandeurs.

Si oyeren, y le sirvieren, acabarán sus días en bien, y sus años en deleites.

If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.

If they listen and serve him, they will spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.

Il ne protège point les impies, parce qu'ils refusent de le connaître, et qu'ils sont rebelles à ses avertissements.

Mas si no oyeren, serán pasados á cuchillo, y perecerán sin sabiduría.

But if they obey not, they shall perish by the sword, and they shall die without knowledge.

But if they don’t listen, they will perish by the sword; they will die without knowledge.

Et les hommes au cœur hypocrite réprimeront leur colère, et ils ne crieront point s'il vient à les enchaîner.

Empero los hipócritas de corazón lo irritarán más, y no clamarán cuando él los atare.

But the hypocrites in heart heap up wrath: they cry not when he bindeth them.

“But those who are godless in heart lay up anger. They don’t cry for help when he binds them.

Ceux-là, que leur âme meure en leur jeunesse, que la vie leur soit ôtée par des anges.

Fallecerá el alma de ellos en su mocedad, y su vida entre los sodomitas.

They die in youth, and their life is among the unclean.

They die in youth. Their life perishes among the unclean.

Car ils auront opprimé le pauvre et le faible ; que le Seigneur absolve les esprits pacifiques.

Al pobre librará de su pobreza, y en la aflicción despertará su oído.

He delivereth the poor in his affliction, and openeth their ears in oppression.

He delivers the afflicted by their affliction, and opens their ear in oppression.

S'il a permis que la bouche de ton ennemi t'ait trompé ; les flots de l'abîme sont sous ta table, et elle y tombera chargée de mets.

Asimismo te apartaría de la boca de la angustia á lugar espacioso, libre de todo apuro; y te asentará mesa llena de grosura.

Even so would he have removed thee out of the strait into a broad place, where there is no straitness; and that which should be set on thy table should be full of fatness.

Yes, he would have allured you out of distress, into a wide place, where there is no restriction. That which is set on your table would be full of fatness.

Il ne fera pas attendre aux justes sa sentence.

Mas tú has llenado el juicio del impío, en vez de sustentar el juicio y la justicia.

But thou hast fulfilled the judgment of the wicked: judgment and justice take hold on thee.

“But you are full of the judgment of the wicked. Judgment and justice take hold of you.

Son courroux s'élèvera contre les pervers, à cause des dons honteux qu'ils ont reçus pour salaire de leur iniquité.

Por lo cual teme que en su ira no te quite con golpe, el cual no puedas apartar de ti con gran rescate.

Because there is wrath, beware lest he take thee away with his stroke: then a great ransom cannot deliver thee.

Don’t let riches entice you to wrath, neither let the great size of a bribe turn you aside.

Veille à ne point te détourner de la demande du pauvre pressé par le besoin ; quant à ceux qui usent de violence,

¿Hará él estima de tus riquezas, ni del oro, ni de todas las fuerzas del poder?

Will he esteem thy riches? no, not gold, nor all the forces of strength.

Would your wealth sustain you in distress, or all the might of your strength?

Ne les soustrais pas la nuit au peuple qui marche contre eux.

No anheles la noche, en que desaparecen los pueblos de su lugar.

Desire not the night, when people are cut off in their place.

Don’t desire the night, when people are cut off in their place.

Sois attentif à t'abstenir d'actions vaines ; c'est d'elles que provient la pauvreté.

Guárdate, no tornes á la iniquidad; pues ésta escogiste más bien que la aflicción.

Take heed, regard not iniquity: for this hast thou chosen rather than affliction.

Take heed, don’t regard iniquity; for you have chosen this rather than affliction.

Le Tout-Puissant s'est affermi dans sa force ; qui peut prévaloir contre lui ?

He aquí que Dios es excelso con su potencia: ¿qué enseñador semejante á él?

Behold, God exalteth by his power: who teacheth like him?

Behold, God is exalted in his power. Who is a teacher like him?

Qui peut le rechercher dans ses œuvres et l'accuser d'injustice ?

¿Quién le ha prescrito su camino? ¿y quién le dirá: Iniquidad has hecho?

Who hath enjoined him his way? or who can say, Thou hast wrought iniquity?

Who has prescribed his way for him? Or who can say, ‘You have committed unrighteousness’?

Souviens-toi qu'il n'a rien fait que de grand, et que les hommes l'ont célébré.

Acuérdate de engrandecer su obra, la cual contemplan los hombres.

Remember that thou magnify his work, which men behold.

“Remember that you magnify his work, about which men have sung.

Tout homme a vu en lui-même combien les mortels sont vulnérables.

Los hombres todos la ven; mírala el hombre de lejos.

Every man may see it; man may behold it afar off.

All men have looked on it. Man sees it afar off.

Le Tout-Puissant est multiple, et nous ne le connaîtrons jamais ; le nombre de ses années est infini.

He aquí, Dios es grande, y nosotros no le conocemos; ni se puede rastrear el número de sus años.

Behold, God is great, and we know him not, neither can the number of his years be searched out.

Behold, God is great, and we don’t know him. The number of his years is unsearchable.

Il sait le nombre des gouttes de pluie et il les recueille pour en former de nouveaux nuages.

El reduce las gotas de las aguas, al derramarse la lluvia según el vapor;

For he maketh small the drops of water: they pour down rain according to the vapour thereof:

For he draws up the drops of water, which distill in rain from his vapor,

Les anciens monuments s'écrouleront, et les nuées couvrent d'ombre le mortel ignoré. Dieu a enseigné les heures aux bestiaux ; ils savent régler leur sommeil.

Las cuales destilan las nubes, goteando en abundancia sobre los hombres.

Which the clouds do drop and distil upon man abundantly.

which the skies pour down and which drop on man abundantly.

Toutes ces choses sont adhérentes à ta pensée, comme ton cœur à ta poitrine. Si le Seigneur rassemble en une seule toutes les nuées, c'est comme son tabernacle.

¿Quién podrá tampoco comprender la extensión de las nubes, y el sonido estrepitoso de su pabellón?

Also can any understand the spreadings of the clouds, or the noise of his tabernacle?

Indeed, can anyone understand the spreading of the clouds and the thunderings of his pavilion?

S'il s'enveloppe d'une lueur incertaine, la mer se trouble, et ses profondeurs sont cachées.

He aquí que sobre él extiende su luz, y cobija con ella las raíces de la mar.

Behold, he spreadeth his light upon it, and covereth the bottom of the sea.

Behold, he spreads his light around him. He covers the bottom of the sea.

Il juge les peuples selon ce qu'ils valent ; les plus puissants lui doivent leur nourriture.

Bien que por esos medios castiga á los pueblos, á la multitud da comida.

For by them judgeth he the people; he giveth meat in abundance.

For by these he judges the people. He gives food in abundance.

Il a caché de ses mains la lumière, et, à cause d'elle, il a donné ses préceptes à ceux qui sont survenus.

Con las nubes encubre la luz, y mándale no brillar, interponiendo aquéllas.

With clouds he covereth the light; and commandeth it not to shine by the cloud that cometh betwixt.

He covers his hands with the lightning, and commands it to strike the mark.

Dieu et le bien mal acquis montreront que le Seigneur aime la lumière.

Tocante á ella anunciará el trueno, su compañero, que hay acumulación de ira sobre el que se eleva.

The noise thereof sheweth concerning it, the cattle also concerning the vapour.

Its noise tells about him, and the livestock also, concerning the storm that comes up.
