Il le fait retentir sous tous les cieux, Et ses éclairs vont jusqu'aux extrémités de la terre.
Debajo de todos los cielos lo dirige, y su luz hasta los fines de la tierra.
He directeth it under the whole heaven, and his lightning unto the ends of the earth.

Aussitôt sa voix mugit, Il tonne de sa voix majestueuse ; Quand sa voix se fait entendre, ses foudres ne sont plus dans sa main.
Después de ella bramará el sonido, tronará él con la voz de su magnificencia; y aunque sea oída su voz, no los detiene.
After it a voice roareth: he thundereth with the voice of his excellency; and he will not stay them when his voice is heard.
After it a voice roars. He thunders with the voice of his majesty. He doesn’t hold back anything when his voice is heard.
Dieu tonne merveilleusement de sa voix ; Il fait de grandes choses, que nous ne connaissons pas.
Tronará Dios maravillosamente con su voz; él hace grandes cosas, que nosotros no entendemos.
God thundereth marvellously with his voice; great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend.
God thunders marvelously with his voice. He does great things, which we can’t comprehend.
Car à la neige il dit : Tombe sur la terre ; Il le dit à la pluie, aux pluies torrentielles les plus fortes.
Porque á la nieve dice: Desciende á la tierra; también á la llovizna, y á los aguaceros de su fortaleza.
For he saith to the snow, Be thou on the earth; likewise to the small rain, and to the great rain of his strength.

Au souffle de Dieu se produit la glace, Et l'étendue des eaux est à l'étroit.
Por el soplo de Dios se da el hielo, y las anchas aguas son constreñidas.
By the breath of God frost is given: and the breadth of the waters is straitened.
By the breath of God, ice is given, and the width of the waters is frozen.
Il charge d'humidité les nuages ; Il étend au loin ses nuées lumineuses.
Regando también llega á disipar la densa nube, y con su luz esparce la niebla.
Also by watering he wearieth the thick cloud: he scattereth his bright cloud:
Yes, he loads the thick cloud with moisture. He spreads abroad the cloud of his lightning.
Celles-ci se tournent de côté et d'autre selon ses desseins, Pour faire tout ce qu'il leur ordonne, En descendant sur la surface de la terre.
Asimismo por sus designios se revuelven las nubes en derredor, para hacer sobre la haz del mundo, en la tierra, lo que él les mandara.
And it is turned round about by his counsels: that they may do whatsoever he commandeth them upon the face of the world in the earth.
It is turned around by his guidance, that they may do whatever he commands them on the surface of the habitable world,
Il les envoie, soit pour châtier, si sa terre en a besoin, Soit en témoignage de bonté.
Unas veces por azote, otras por causa de su tierra, otras por misericordia las hará parecer.

Dost thou know when God disposed them, and caused the light of his cloud to shine?
Do you know how God controls them, and causes the lightning of his cloud to shine?
Comprends-tu le balancement des nuages, Les merveilles de celui qui est parfaitement sage ?
¿Has tú conocido las diferencias de las nubes, las maravillas del Perfecto en sabiduría?
Dost thou know the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him which is perfect in knowledge?
Do you know the workings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him who is perfect in knowledge?
Toi dont les habits deviennent brûlants Quand la terre est immobile sous le vent du midi,
¿Por qué están calientes tus vestidos cuando se fija el viento del mediodía sobre la tierra?
How thy garments are warm, when he quieteth the earth by the south wind?
You whose clothing is warm when the earth is still by reason of the south wind?
Peux-tu, comme lui, étendre les cieux ; Les rendre solides comme un miroir de fonte ?
¿Extendiste tú con él los cielos, firmes como un espejo sólido?
Hast thou with him spread out the sky, which is strong, and as a molten looking glass?
Can you, with him, spread out the sky, which is strong as a cast metal mirror?
Fais-nous savoir ce que nous devons lui dire. Nous ne pouvons rien avancer à cause de nos ténèbres.
Muéstranos qué le hemos de decir; porque nosotros no podemos componer las ideas á causa de las tinieblas.
Teach us what we shall say unto him; for we cannot order our speech by reason of darkness.
Teach us what we will tell him, for we can’t make our case by reason of darkness.
Lui annoncera-t-on que je veux parler ? Quelqu'un a-t-il jamais désiré être englouti ?

Shall it be told him that I speak? if a man speak, surely he shall be swallowed up.

Et maintenant on n'a jamais pu regarder la lumière, Quand elle brille entre les nuages Après qu'un vent a passé et les a dissipés.
He aquí aún: no se puede mirar la luz esplendente en los cielos, luego que pasa el viento y los limpia,
And now men see not the bright light which is in the clouds: but the wind passeth, and cleanseth them.
Now men don’t see the light which is bright in the skies, but the wind passes, and clears them.
L'or vient du septentrion ; Mais Dieu est entouré d'un éclat redoutable ;
Viniendo de la parte del norte la dorada claridad. En Dios hay una majestad terrible.
Fair weather cometh out of the north: with God is terrible majesty.
Out of the north comes golden splendor. With God is awesome majesty.
Le Puissant, nous ne saurions l'atteindre, Lui qui est grand en force et en jugement Et qui ne fait pas fléchir la pleine justice.
El es Todopoderoso, al cual no alcanzamos, grande en potencia; y en juicio y en multitud de justicia no afligirá.
Touching the Almighty, we cannot find him out: he is excellent in power, and in judgment, and in plenty of justice: he will not afflict.
We can’t reach the Almighty. He is exalted in power. In justice and great righteousness, he will not oppress.
Que les hommes donc le craignent ! Il ne prend point garde à ceux qui se croient sages.
Temerlo han por tanto los hombres: él no mira á los sabios de corazón.
Men do therefore fear him: he respecteth not any that are wise of heart.
Therefore men revere him. He doesn’t regard any who are wise of heart.”
