Il l’envoie sous tous les cieux, et son éclair va jusqu’aux extrémités de la terre.
Debajo de todos los cielos lo dirige, y su luz hasta los fines de la tierra.
He directeth it under the whole heaven, and his lightning unto the ends of the earth.
He sends it out under the whole sky, and his lightning to the ends of the earth.
Puis, sa voix rugit ; il tonne de sa voix magnifique, et il n’épargne pas ses éclairs, quand retentit sa voix.
Después de ella bramará el sonido, tronará él con la voz de su magnificencia; y aunque sea oída su voz, no los detiene.
After it a voice roareth: he thundereth with the voice of his excellency; and he will not stay them when his voice is heard.
After it a voice roars. He thunders with the voice of his majesty. He doesn’t hold back anything when his voice is heard.
Dieu tonne de sa voix merveilleusement ; il fait de grandes choses, que nous ne comprenons pas.
Tronará Dios maravillosamente con su voz; él hace grandes cosas, que nosotros no entendemos.
God thundereth marvellously with his voice; great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend.
God thunders marvelously with his voice. He does great things, which we can’t comprehend.
Il dit à la neige : Tombe sur la terre ; il le dit aux ondées, aux fortes ondées.
Porque á la nieve dice: Desciende á la tierra; también á la llovizna, y á los aguaceros de su fortaleza.
For he saith to the snow, Be thou on the earth; likewise to the small rain, and to the great rain of his strength.
For he says to the snow, ‘Fall on the earth,’ likewise to the shower of rain, and to the showers of his mighty rain.

He sealeth up the hand of every man; that all men may know his work.

Par son souffle, Dieu forme la glace, et l’eau qui s’étendait est resserrée.
Por el soplo de Dios se da el hielo, y las anchas aguas son constreñidas.
By the breath of God frost is given: and the breadth of the waters is straitened.
By the breath of God, ice is given, and the width of the waters is frozen.
Il charge d’humidité la nue ; il disperse les nuages, pleins de ses éclairs,
Regando también llega á disipar la densa nube, y con su luz esparce la niebla.
Also by watering he wearieth the thick cloud: he scattereth his bright cloud:
Yes, he loads the thick cloud with moisture. He spreads abroad the cloud of his lightning.
Et ceux-ci se promènent de tous côtés, selon ses directions, pour faire tout ce qu’il commande, sur la face de la terre habitée ;
Asimismo por sus designios se revuelven las nubes en derredor, para hacer sobre la haz del mundo, en la tierra, lo que él les mandara.
And it is turned round about by his counsels: that they may do whatsoever he commandeth them upon the face of the world in the earth.
It is turned around by his guidance, that they may do whatever he commands them on the surface of the habitable world,
Que ce soit pour châtier, ou pour rendre sa terre fertile, ou pour exercer sa bonté, il leur fait atteindre le but.
Unas veces por azote, otras por causa de su tierra, otras por misericordia las hará parecer.
He causeth it to come, whether for correction, or for his land, or for mercy.

Dost thou know when God disposed them, and caused the light of his cloud to shine?
Do you know how God controls them, and causes the lightning of his cloud to shine?
Sais-tu comment se balancent les nuages, cette merveille de celui dont la science est parfaite ?
¿Has tú conocido las diferencias de las nubes, las maravillas del Perfecto en sabiduría?
Dost thou know the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him which is perfect in knowledge?
Do you know the workings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him who is perfect in knowledge?
Comment tes vêtements sont chauds quand il endort la terre par le vent du Midi ?
¿Por qué están calientes tus vestidos cuando se fija el viento del mediodía sobre la tierra?
How thy garments are warm, when he quieteth the earth by the south wind?
You whose clothing is warm when the earth is still by reason of the south wind?
As-tu étendu avec lui les cieux, fermes comme un miroir de métal ?
¿Extendiste tú con él los cielos, firmes como un espejo sólido?
Hast thou with him spread out the sky, which is strong, and as a molten looking glass?
Can you, with him, spread out the sky, which is strong as a cast metal mirror?
Apprends-nous donc ce que nous devons dire de lui : car nous ne saurions préparer des discours du sein de nos ténèbres.
Muéstranos qué le hemos de decir; porque nosotros no podemos componer las ideas á causa de las tinieblas.
Teach us what we shall say unto him; for we cannot order our speech by reason of darkness.
Teach us what we will tell him, for we can’t make our case by reason of darkness.
Voudrais-je qu’on lui rapportât ce que je dis ? Jamais homme voulut-il être englouti ?

Shall it be told him that I speak? if a man speak, surely he shall be swallowed up.

Et maintenant on ne peut regarder le soleil brillant dans les cieux, quand un vent a passé et les a purifiés,
He aquí aún: no se puede mirar la luz esplendente en los cielos, luego que pasa el viento y los limpia,
And now men see not the bright light which is in the clouds: but the wind passeth, and cleanseth them.
Now men don’t see the light which is bright in the skies, but the wind passes, and clears them.
Quand une lueur d’or vient du septentrion. Il y a en Dieu une majesté redoutable.
Viniendo de la parte del norte la dorada claridad. En Dios hay una majestad terrible.
Fair weather cometh out of the north: with God is terrible majesty.
Out of the north comes golden splendor. With God is awesome majesty.
Le Tout-Puissant ! nous ne pouvons l’atteindre ; il est sublime en puissance, en droit, en justice ; il n’opprime personne.
El es Todopoderoso, al cual no alcanzamos, grande en potencia; y en juicio y en multitud de justicia no afligirá.
Touching the Almighty, we cannot find him out: he is excellent in power, and in judgment, and in plenty of justice: he will not afflict.
We can’t reach the Almighty. He is exalted in power. In justice and great righteousness, he will not oppress.
C’est pourquoi les hommes le craignent. Mais il ne regarde pas ceux qui sont sages en leur cœur.
Temerlo han por tanto los hombres: él no mira á los sabios de corazón.
Men do therefore fear him: he respecteth not any that are wise of heart.
Therefore men revere him. He doesn’t regard any who are wise of heart.”
