At this also my heart trembleth, and is moved out of his place.
“Yes, at this my heart trembles, and is moved out of its place.
¡Escuchen atentamente el trueno de su voz y el estruendo que sale de su boca!
Oid atentamente su voz terrible, y el sonido que sale de su boca.
Hear attentively the noise of his voice, and the sound that goeth out of his mouth.
Hear, oh, hear the noise of his voice, the sound that goes out of his mouth.
Suelta sus relámpagos por debajo de todo el cielo, que llegan hasta los confines de la tierra.
Debajo de todos los cielos lo dirige, y su luz hasta los fines de la tierra.
He directeth it under the whole heaven, and his lightning unto the ends of the earth.
He sends it out under the whole sky, and his lightning to the ends of the earth.
Tras ellos ruge su voz. Truena ʼEL con voz majestuosa, y aunque sea oída su voz, no los detiene.
Después de ella bramará el sonido, tronará él con la voz de su magnificencia; y aunque sea oída su voz, no los detiene.
After it a voice roareth: he thundereth with the voice of his excellency; and he will not stay them when his voice is heard.
After it a voice roars. He thunders with the voice of his majesty. He doesn’t hold back anything when his voice is heard.
ʼEL truena con voz maravillosa y hace cosas que no podemos comprender.
Tronará Dios maravillosamente con su voz; él hace grandes cosas, que nosotros no entendemos.
God thundereth marvellously with his voice; great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend.
God thunders marvelously with his voice. He does great things, which we can’t comprehend.
A la nieve dice: Cae a la tierra. También a la lluvia y al aguacero torrencial.
Porque á la nieve dice: Desciende á la tierra; también á la llovizna, y á los aguaceros de su fortaleza.
For he saith to the snow, Be thou on the earth; likewise to the small rain, and to the great rain of his strength.
For he says to the snow, ‘Fall on the earth,’ likewise to the shower of rain, and to the showers of his mighty rain.
Así hace que todo hombre se retire, para que todos los hombres reconozcan su obra.
Así hace retirarse á todo hombre, para que los hombres todos reconozcan su obra.
He sealeth up the hand of every man; that all men may know his work.
He seals up the hand of every man, that all men whom he has made may know it.
Las bestias se meten en lugar de descanso y permanecen en sus guaridas.
La bestia se entrará en su escondrijo, y estaráse en sus moradas.
Then the beasts go into dens, and remain in their places.
Then the animals take cover, and remain in their dens.
De su cámara viene la tormenta y el frío de los vientos del norte.
Del mediodía viene el torbellino, y el frío de los vientos del norte.
Out of the south cometh the whirlwind: and cold out of the north.
Out of its room comes the storm, and cold out of the north.
Por el soplo de ʼEL se forma el hielo y se congelan las amplias aguas.
Por el soplo de Dios se da el hielo, y las anchas aguas son constreñidas.
By the breath of God frost is given: and the breadth of the waters is straitened.
By the breath of God, ice is given, and the width of the waters is frozen.
Carga de humedad la densa nube. Dispersa las nubes con sus relámpagos,
Regando también llega á disipar la densa nube, y con su luz esparce la niebla.
Also by watering he wearieth the thick cloud: he scattereth his bright cloud:
Yes, he loads the thick cloud with moisture. He spreads abroad the cloud of his lightning.
que giran según su designio para cumplir sus órdenes sobre la superficie de la tierra habitada.
Asimismo por sus designios se revuelven las nubes en derredor, para hacer sobre la haz del mundo, en la tierra, lo que él les mandara.
And it is turned round about by his counsels: that they may do whatsoever he commandeth them upon the face of the world in the earth.
It is turned around by his guidance, that they may do whatever he commands them on the surface of the habitable world,
Las hace venir, unas veces como azote, otras, a favor de su tierra y otras por misericordia.
Unas veces por azote, otras por causa de su tierra, otras por misericordia las hará parecer.
He causeth it to come, whether for correction, or for his land, or for mercy.
whether it is for correction, or for his land, or for loving kindness, that he causes it to come.
Oh Job, escucha esto. Detente y considera las maravillas de ʼEL.
Escucha esto, Job; repósate, y considera las maravillas de Dios.
Hearken unto this, O Job: stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God.
“Listen to this, Job. Stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God.
¿Sabes cuándo ʼEloah las establece y hace fulgurar la luz de su nube?
¿Supiste tú cuándo Dios las ponía en concierto, y hacía levantar la luz de su nube?
Dost thou know when God disposed them, and caused the light of his cloud to shine?
Do you know how God controls them, and causes the lightning of his cloud to shine?
¿Conoces tú el equilibrio de las nubes, las obras prodigiosas de Aquél que es perfecto en conocimiento?
¿Has tú conocido las diferencias de las nubes, las maravillas del Perfecto en sabiduría?
Dost thou know the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him which is perfect in knowledge?
Do you know the workings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him who is perfect in knowledge?
¿Por qué están calientes tus ropas cuando la tierra está tranquila a causa del viento del sur?
¿Por qué están calientes tus vestidos cuando se fija el viento del mediodía sobre la tierra?
How thy garments are warm, when he quieteth the earth by the south wind?
You whose clothing is warm when the earth is still by reason of the south wind?
¿Extendiste con Él la bóveda celeste, sólida como un espejo fundido?
¿Extendiste tú con él los cielos, firmes como un espejo sólido?
Hast thou with him spread out the sky, which is strong, and as a molten looking glass?
Can you, with him, spread out the sky, which is strong as a cast metal mirror?
Muéstranos qué le diremos. Porque no podemos ordenar nuestras ideas a causa de las tinieblas.
Muéstranos qué le hemos de decir; porque nosotros no podemos componer las ideas á causa de las tinieblas.
Teach us what we shall say unto him; for we cannot order our speech by reason of darkness.
Teach us what we will tell him, for we can’t make our case by reason of darkness.
¿Será necesario informarle lo que yo digo? ¿O debe un hombre desear que sea tragado?
¿Será preciso contarle cuando yo hablaré? Por más que el hombre razone, quedará como abismado.
Shall it be told him that I speak? if a man speak, surely he shall be swallowed up.
Will it be told him that I would speak? Or should a man wish that he were swallowed up?
Ciertamente no es posible mirar la luz oscurecida por las nubes, pero un viento pasa, y la despeja.
He aquí aún: no se puede mirar la luz esplendente en los cielos, luego que pasa el viento y los limpia,
And now men see not the bright light which is in the clouds: but the wind passeth, and cleanseth them.
Now men don’t see the light which is bright in the skies, but the wind passes, and clears them.
Del norte asoma un dorado resplandor. ¡En ʼEloha hay una asombrosa majestad!
Viniendo de la parte del norte la dorada claridad. En Dios hay una majestad terrible.
Fair weather cometh out of the north: with God is terrible majesty.
Out of the north comes golden splendor. With God is awesome majesty.
¡ʼEL-Shadday, a Quien no alcanzamos! Exaltado en poder, Él no hará violencia a la equidad. Es abundante en justicia.
El es Todopoderoso, al cual no alcanzamos, grande en potencia; y en juicio y en multitud de justicia no afligirá.
Touching the Almighty, we cannot find him out: he is excellent in power, and in judgment, and in plenty of justice: he will not afflict.
We can’t reach the Almighty. He is exalted in power. In justice and great righteousness, he will not oppress.
Por tanto, los hombres le temen. Él no estima a alguno que cree en su corazón ser sabio.
Temerlo han por tanto los hombres: él no mira á los sabios de corazón.
Men do therefore fear him: he respecteth not any that are wise of heart.
Therefore men revere him. He doesn’t regard any who are wise of heart.”
