El está observando todo cuanto hay debajo del cielo, y su luz penetra y resplandece por todos los términos de la tierra.
Debajo de todos los cielos lo dirige, y su luz hasta los fines de la tierra.
He directeth it under the whole heaven, and his lightning unto the ends of the earth.

Detrás del relámpago seguirá un estruendo como de un rugido espantoso, y tronará con la voz de su majestad, y oída que sea no podrá comprenderse lo que es.
Después de ella bramará el sonido, tronará él con la voz de su magnificencia; y aunque sea oída su voz, no los detiene.
After it a voice roareth: he thundereth with the voice of his excellency; and he will not stay them when his voice is heard.
After it a voice roars. He thunders with the voice of his majesty. He doesn’t hold back anything when his voice is heard.
Retumbará maravillosamente el sonido de la voz de Dios; de Dios que hace cosas grandes e inescrutables.
Tronará Dios maravillosamente con su voz; él hace grandes cosas, que nosotros no entendemos.
God thundereth marvellously with his voice; great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend.
God thunders marvelously with his voice. He does great things, which we can’t comprehend.
El manda a la nieve que descienda sobre la tierra, y hace caer las lluvias abundantes del invierno, y los aguaceros del verano;
Porque á la nieve dice: Desciende á la tierra; también á la llovizna, y á los aguaceros de su fortaleza.
For he saith to the snow, Be thou on the earth; likewise to the small rain, and to the great rain of his strength.
For he says to the snow, ‘Fall on the earth,’ likewise to the shower of rain, and to the showers of his mighty rain.
él pone como un sello en las manos de todos los hombres, a fin de que reconozcan todos que sus obras penden de lo alto.
Así hace retirarse á todo hombre, para que los hombres todos reconozcan su obra.
He sealeth up the hand of every man; that all men may know his work.

La fiera se mete en su cueva, y estará queda en su guarida.

Levántese la tempestad de los recónditos lugares, y el frío viene del septentrión.
Del mediodía viene el torbellino, y el frío de los vientos del norte.
Out of the south cometh the whirlwind: and cold out of the north.

Al soplo de Dios se forma el hielo, y se derraman nuevamente las aguas por todas partes.
Por el soplo de Dios se da el hielo, y las anchas aguas son constreñidas.
By the breath of God frost is given: and the breadth of the waters is straitened.
By the breath of God, ice is given, and the width of the waters is frozen.
Apetecen los trigos el agua de las nubes; y las nubes al darla esparcen sus brillos o relámpagos.
Regando también llega á disipar la densa nube, y con su luz esparce la niebla.
Also by watering he wearieth the thick cloud: he scattereth his bright cloud:
Yes, he loads the thick cloud with moisture. He spreads abroad the cloud of his lightning.
Van las nubes girando por todas partes, doquiera que las guía la voluntad del que las gobierna, prontas a ejecutar sus órdenes en toda la tierra;
Asimismo por sus designios se revuelven las nubes en derredor, para hacer sobre la haz del mundo, en la tierra, lo que él les mandara.
And it is turned round about by his counsels: that they may do whatsoever he commandeth them upon the face of the world in the earth.
It is turned around by his guidance, that they may do whatever he commands them on the surface of the habitable world,
ya en una tribu extranjera, ya en tierra suya, ya sea en cualquier lugar que su misericordia disponga que se hallen.
Unas veces por azote, otras por causa de su tierra, otras por misericordia las hará parecer.
He causeth it to come, whether for correction, or for his land, or for mercy.

Escucha, oh Job, estas cosas; párate a reflexionar las maravillas de Dios.

¿Sabes tú por ventura cuándo ha mandado Dios a las lluvias que hiciesen aparecer la luz en sus nubes?
¿Supiste tú cuándo Dios las ponía en concierto, y hacía levantar la luz de su nube?
Dost thou know when God disposed them, and caused the light of his cloud to shine?
Do you know how God controls them, and causes the lightning of his cloud to shine?
¿Has tú averiguado los varios caminos de esas nubes, y aquella grande y perfecta ciencia del que las gobierna?
¿Has tú conocido las diferencias de las nubes, las maravillas del Perfecto en sabiduría?
Dost thou know the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him which is perfect in knowledge?
Do you know the workings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him who is perfect in knowledge?
¿No es así que se ponen calientes tus vestidos cuando sopla el mediodía sobre la tierra?
¿Por qué están calientes tus vestidos cuando se fija el viento del mediodía sobre la tierra?
How thy garments are warm, when he quieteth the earth by the south wind?
You whose clothing is warm when the earth is still by reason of the south wind?
¿Acaso tú fabricaste junto con él los cielos, que son tan sólidos y estables como si fueran vaciados de bronce?
¿Extendiste tú con él los cielos, firmes como un espejo sólido?
Hast thou with him spread out the sky, which is strong, and as a molten looking glass?
Can you, with him, spread out the sky, which is strong as a cast metal mirror?
Si es así, enséñanos qué es lo que le hemos de responder a quien nos pregunte, ya que nosotros estamos envueltos en tinieblas.
Muéstranos qué le hemos de decir; porque nosotros no podemos componer las ideas á causa de las tinieblas.
Teach us what we shall say unto him; for we cannot order our speech by reason of darkness.
Teach us what we will tell him, for we can’t make our case by reason of darkness.
¿Quién podrá darle razón de lo que yo digo? Por más que el hombre razone, quedará como abismado.
¿Será preciso contarle cuando yo hablaré? Por más que el hombre razone, quedará como abismado.
Shall it be told him that I speak? if a man speak, surely he shall be swallowed up.
Will it be told him that I would speak? Or should a man wish that he were swallowed up?
Ahora no ven los hombres la luz porque el aire se condensa repentinamente en nubes; mas un viento que atraviese, las ahuyentará y disipará.
He aquí aún: no se puede mirar la luz esplendente en los cielos, luego que pasa el viento y los limpia,
And now men see not the bright light which is in the clouds: but the wind passeth, and cleanseth them.
Now men don’t see the light which is bright in the skies, but the wind passes, and clears them.
Del septentrión viene el oro. Démosle, pues, a Dios respetuosa alabanza.
Viniendo de la parte del norte la dorada claridad. En Dios hay una majestad terrible.
Fair weather cometh out of the north: with God is terrible majesty.
Out of the north comes golden splendor. With God is awesome majesty.
Nosotros no somos dignos de alcanzarle. El es grande en su poder y en sus juicios, y en su justicia, y verdaderamente inefable.
El es Todopoderoso, al cual no alcanzamos, grande en potencia; y en juicio y en multitud de justicia no afligirá.
Touching the Almighty, we cannot find him out: he is excellent in power, and in judgment, and in plenty of justice: he will not afflict.
We can’t reach the Almighty. He is exalted in power. In justice and great righteousness, he will not oppress.
Por tanto los hombres le temerán y respetarán, y ninguno de los que se precian de sabios se atreverá a contemplarle con curiosidad.
Temerlo han por tanto los hombres: él no mira á los sabios de corazón.
Men do therefore fear him: he respecteth not any that are wise of heart.
Therefore men revere him. He doesn’t regard any who are wise of heart.”
