A ESTO también se espanta mi corazón, y salta de su lugar.
At this also my heart trembleth, and is moved out of his place.
“Yes, at this my heart trembles, and is moved out of its place.
Escucha con atención la voz atronadora de Dios que retumba al hablar.
Oid atentamente su voz terrible, y el sonido que sale de su boca.
Hear attentively the noise of his voice, and the sound that goeth out of his mouth.
Hear, oh, hear the noise of his voice, the sound that goes out of his mouth.
Lo envía a través del cielo; sus relámpagos brillan hasta los confines de la tierra.
Debajo de todos los cielos lo dirige, y su luz hasta los fines de la tierra.
He directeth it under the whole heaven, and his lightning unto the ends of the earth.
He sends it out under the whole sky, and his lightning to the ends of the earth.
Luego viene el estruendo del trueno, su voz majestuosa no se contiene cuando habla.
Después de ella bramará el sonido, tronará él con la voz de su magnificencia; y aunque sea oída su voz, no los detiene.
After it a voice roareth: he thundereth with the voice of his excellency; and he will not stay them when his voice is heard.
After it a voice roars. He thunders with the voice of his majesty. He doesn’t hold back anything when his voice is heard.
¡La voz atronadora de Dios es maravillosa! No podemos comprender las grandes cosas que hace.
Tronará Dios maravillosamente con su voz; él hace grandes cosas, que nosotros no entendemos.
God thundereth marvellously with his voice; great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend.
God thunders marvelously with his voice. He does great things, which we can’t comprehend.
“Ordena que caiga la nieve y que llueva sobre la tierra.
Porque á la nieve dice: Desciende á la tierra; también á la llovizna, y á los aguaceros de su fortaleza.
For he saith to the snow, Be thou on the earth; likewise to the small rain, and to the great rain of his strength.
For he says to the snow, ‘Fall on the earth,’ likewise to the shower of rain, and to the showers of his mighty rain.
Con ello detiene el trabajo de la gente para que todos puedan entender lo que hace.
Así hace retirarse á todo hombre, para que los hombres todos reconozcan su obra.
He sealeth up the hand of every man; that all men may know his work.
He seals up the hand of every man, that all men whom he has made may know it.
Incluso los animales se refugian y permanecen en sus guaridas.
La bestia se entrará en su escondrijo, y estaráse en sus moradas.
Then the beasts go into dens, and remain in their places.
Then the animals take cover, and remain in their dens.
El viento del sur sopla en las tormentas, mientras que el viento del norte sopla cuando hace frío.
Del mediodía viene el torbellino, y el frío de los vientos del norte.
Out of the south cometh the whirlwind: and cold out of the north.
Out of its room comes the storm, and cold out of the north.
El aliento de Dios produce hielo, congelando la superficie del agua.
Por el soplo de Dios se da el hielo, y las anchas aguas son constreñidas.
By the breath of God frost is given: and the breadth of the waters is straitened.
By the breath of God, ice is given, and the width of the waters is frozen.
Llena las nubes de humedad y esparce desde ellas sus rayos.
Regando también llega á disipar la densa nube, y con su luz esparce la niebla.
Also by watering he wearieth the thick cloud: he scattereth his bright cloud:
Yes, he loads the thick cloud with moisture. He spreads abroad the cloud of his lightning.
Se arremolinan bajo su control; se mueven por toda la tierra según sus órdenes.
Asimismo por sus designios se revuelven las nubes en derredor, para hacer sobre la haz del mundo, en la tierra, lo que él les mandara.
And it is turned round about by his counsels: that they may do whatsoever he commandeth them upon the face of the world in the earth.
It is turned around by his guidance, that they may do whatever he commands them on the surface of the habitable world,
Lo hace para cumplir su voluntad, ya sea para disciplinar o para mostrar su bondad.
Unas veces por azote, otras por causa de su tierra, otras por misericordia las hará parecer.
He causeth it to come, whether for correction, or for his land, or for mercy.
whether it is for correction, or for his land, or for loving kindness, that he causes it to come.
“Escucha esto, Job. Detente un momento y considera las cosas maravillosas que hace Dios.
Escucha esto, Job; repósate, y considera las maravillas de Dios.
Hearken unto this, O Job: stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God.
“Listen to this, Job. Stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God.
¿Sabes cómo Dios controla las nubes, o cómo hace que sus relámpagos salgan de ellas?
¿Supiste tú cuándo Dios las ponía en concierto, y hacía levantar la luz de su nube?
Dost thou know when God disposed them, and caused the light of his cloud to shine?
Do you know how God controls them, and causes the lightning of his cloud to shine?
¿Sabes cómo flotan las nubes en el cielo: la maravillosa obra de quien lo sabe todo.
¿Has tú conocido las diferencias de las nubes, las maravillas del Perfecto en sabiduría?
Dost thou know the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him which is perfect in knowledge?
Do you know the workings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him who is perfect in knowledge?
Tú sabes que tu ropa gotea de sudor cuando el viento del sur trae un aire caliente y pesado.
¿Por qué están calientes tus vestidos cuando se fija el viento del mediodía sobre la tierra?
How thy garments are warm, when he quieteth the earth by the south wind?
You whose clothing is warm when the earth is still by reason of the south wind?
¿Puedes martillar el cielo para que sea como un espejo fundido, como hace él?
¿Extendiste tú con él los cielos, firmes como un espejo sólido?
Hast thou with him spread out the sky, which is strong, and as a molten looking glass?
Can you, with him, spread out the sky, which is strong as a cast metal mirror?
“Entonces, ¿por qué no nos enseñas lo que hay que decirle a Dios? No podemos exponer nuestro caso porque estamos a oscuras!
Muéstranos qué le hemos de decir; porque nosotros no podemos componer las ideas á causa de las tinieblas.
Teach us what we shall say unto him; for we cannot order our speech by reason of darkness.
Teach us what we will tell him, for we can’t make our case by reason of darkness.
¿Hay que decirle a Dios que quiero hablar? Cualquiera que lo quisiera sería destruido!
¿Será preciso contarle cuando yo hablaré? Por más que el hombre razone, quedará como abismado.
Shall it be told him that I speak? if a man speak, surely he shall be swallowed up.
Will it be told him that I would speak? Or should a man wish that he were swallowed up?
Al fin y al cabo, no podemos mirar al sol cuando brilla en el cielo, después de que el viento haya despejado las nubes.
He aquí aún: no se puede mirar la luz esplendente en los cielos, luego que pasa el viento y los limpia,
And now men see not the bright light which is in the clouds: but the wind passeth, and cleanseth them.
Now men don’t see the light which is bright in the skies, but the wind passes, and clears them.
Del norte sale Dios brillando como el oro, rodeado de una majestad impresionante.
Viniendo de la parte del norte la dorada claridad. En Dios hay una majestad terrible.
Fair weather cometh out of the north: with God is terrible majesty.
Out of the north comes golden splendor. With God is awesome majesty.
No podemos acercarnos al Todopoderoso, porque nos supera en poder y justicia, y en hacer el bien.
El es Todopoderoso, al cual no alcanzamos, grande en potencia; y en juicio y en multitud de justicia no afligirá.
Touching the Almighty, we cannot find him out: he is excellent in power, and in judgment, and in plenty of justice: he will not afflict.
We can’t reach the Almighty. He is exalted in power. In justice and great righteousness, he will not oppress.
No actúa como un tirano; no es de extrañar que la gente le tema, aunque no valora a los que se creen sabios”.
Temerlo han por tanto los hombres: él no mira á los sabios de corazón.
Men do therefore fear him: he respecteth not any that are wise of heart.
Therefore men revere him. He doesn’t regard any who are wise of heart.”
