»¡Ay! ¿Por qué dar luz y vida a quienes yacen en aflicción y amargura, que suspiran por la muerte, y no llega; que buscan la muerte como otros buscan alimento o dinero?

¿Por qué se da luz al trabajado, y vida á los de ánimo en amargura,

Wherefore is light given to him that is in misery, and life unto the bitter in soul;
