Então o SENHOR respondeu mais a Jó, dizendo:
ENTONCES respondió Jehová á Job desde la oscuridad, y dijo:
Moreover the LORD answered Job, and said,
Moreover the LORD answered Job,
Por acaso quem briga contra o Todo-Poderoso pode ensiná-lo? Quem quer repreender a Deus, responda a isto.
Cíñete ahora como varón tus lomos; yo te preguntaré, y explícame.
Shall he that contendeth with the Almighty instruct him? he that reproveth God, let him answer it.
“Shall he who argues contend with the Almighty? He who argues with God, let him answer it.”
Então Jó respondeu ao SENHOR, dizendo:
¿Invalidarás tú también mi juicio? ¿me condenarás á mí, para justificarte á ti?
Then Job answered the LORD, and said,
Then Job answered the LORD,
Eis que eu sou insignificante; o que eu te responderia? Ponho minha mão sobre minha boca.
¿Tienes tú brazo como Dios? ¿y tronarás tú con voz como él?
Behold, I am vile; what shall I answer thee? I will lay mine hand upon my mouth.
“Behold, I am of small account. What will I answer you? I lay my hand on my mouth.
Uma vez falei, porém não responderei; até duas vezes, porém não prosseguirei.
Atavíate ahora de majestad y de alteza: y vístete de honra y de hermosura.
Once have I spoken; but I will not answer: yea, twice; but I will proceed no further.
I have spoken once, and I will not answer; Yes, twice, but I will proceed no further.”
Então o SENHOR respondeu a Jó desde o redemoinho, dizendo:
Esparce furores de tu ira: y mira á todo soberbio, y abátelo.
Then answered the LORD unto Job out of the whirlwind, and said,
Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind:
Cinge-te agora os teus lombos como homem; eu te perguntarei, e tu me explica.
Mira á todo soberbio, y humíllalo, y quebranta á los impíos en su asiento.
Gird up thy loins now like a man: I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.
“Now brace yourself like a man. I will question you, and you will answer me.
Por acaso tu anularias o meu juízo? Tu me condenarias, para te justificares?
Encúbrelos á todos en el polvo, venda sus rostros en la oscuridad;
Wilt thou also disannul my judgment? wilt thou condemn me, that thou mayest be righteous?
Will you even annul my judgment? Will you condemn me, that you may be justified?
Tens tu braço como Deus? Ou podes tu trovejar com tua voz como ele?
Y yo también te confesaré que podrá salvarte tu diestra.
Hast thou an arm like God? or canst thou thunder with a voice like him?
Or do you have an arm like God? Can you thunder with a voice like him?
Orna-te, pois, de excelência e alteza; e veste-te de majestade e glória.
He aquí ahora behemoth, al cual yo hice contigo; hierba come como buey.
Deck thyself now with majesty and excellency; and array thyself with glory and beauty.
“Now deck yourself with excellency and dignity. Array yourself with honor and majesty.
Espalha os furores de tua ira; olha a todo soberbo, e abate-o.
He aquí ahora que su fuerza está en sus lomos, y su fortaleza en el ombligo de su vientre.
Cast abroad the rage of thy wrath: and behold every one that is proud, and abase him.
Pour out the fury of your anger. Look at everyone who is proud, and bring him low.
Olha a todo soberbo, e humilha-o; e esmaga aos perversos em seu lugar.
Su cola mueve como un cedro, y los nervios de sus genitales son entretejidos.
Look on every one that is proud, and bring him low; and tread down the wicked in their place.
Look at everyone who is proud, and humble him. Crush the wicked in their place.
Esconde-os juntamente no pó; ata seus rostos no oculto.
Sus huesos son fuertes como bronce, y sus miembros como barras de hierro.
Hide them in the dust together; and bind their faces in secret.

E eu também te reconhecerei; pois tua mão direita te terá livrado.
El es la cabeza de los caminos de Dios: el que lo hizo, puede hacer que su cuchillo á él se acerque.
Then will I also confess unto thee that thine own right hand can save thee.
Then I will also admit to you that your own right hand can save you.
Observa o beemote, ao qual eu fiz contigo; ele come erva come como o boi.
Ciertamente los montes producen hierba para él: y toda bestia del campo retoza allá.
Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox.
“See now behemoth, which I made as well as you. He eats grass as an ox.
Eis que sua força está em seus lombos, e seu poder na musculatura de seu ventre.
Echaráse debajo de las sombras, en lo oculto de las cañas, y de los lugares húmedos.
Lo now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the navel of his belly.
Look now, his strength is in his thighs. His force is in the muscles of his belly.
Ele torna sua cauda dura como o cedro, e os nervos de suas coxas são entretecidos.
Los árboles sombríos lo cubren con su sombra; los sauces del arroyo lo cercan.
He moveth his tail like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapped together.
He moves his tail like a cedar. The sinews of his thighs are knit together.
Seus ossos são como tubos de bronze; seus membros, como barras de ferro.
He aquí que él tomará el río sin inmutarse: y confíase que el Jordán pasará por su boca.
His bones are as strong pieces of brass; his bones are like bars of iron.
His bones are like tubes of bronze. His limbs are like bars of iron.
Ele é a obra-prima dos caminhos de Deus; aquele que o fez o proveu de sua espada.
¿Tomarálo alguno por sus ojos en armadijos, y horadará su nariz?
He is the chief of the ways of God: he that made him can make his sword to approach unto him.
He is the chief of the ways of God. He who made him gives him his sword.
Pois os montes lhe produzem pasto; por isso todos os animais do campo ali se alegram.

Surely the mountains bring him forth food, where all the beasts of the field play.

Ele se deita debaixo das árvores sombrias; no esconderijo das canas e da lama.

He lieth under the shady trees, in the covert of the reed, and fens.
He lies under the lotus trees, in the covert of the reed, and the marsh.
As árvores sombrias o cobrem, cada uma com sua sombra; os salgueiros do ribeiro o cercam.

The shady trees cover him with their shadow; the willows of the brook compass him about.
The lotuses cover him with their shade. The willows of the brook surround him.
Ainda que o rio se torne violento, ele não se apressa; confia ainda que o Jordão transborde até sua boca.

Behold, he drinketh up a river, and hasteth not: he trusteth that he can draw up Jordan into his mouth.
Behold, if a river overflows, he doesn’t tremble. He is confident, though the Jordan swells even to his mouth.
Poderiam, por acaso, capturá-lo à vista de seus olhos, ou com laços furar suas narinas?

He taketh it with his eyes: his nose pierceth through snares.
Shall any take him when he is on the watch, or pierce through his nose with a snare?
