O Senhor continuou falando com Jó:
ENTONCES respondió Jehová á Job desde la oscuridad, y dijo:
Moreover the LORD answered Job, and said,
Moreover the LORD answered Job,
“Por acaso você ainda quer me criticar? Ainda quer desafiar o Deus Todo-poderoso? Que responda a Deus aquele que o acusa!”
Cíñete ahora como varón tus lomos; yo te preguntaré, y explícame.
Shall he that contendeth with the Almighty instruct him? he that reproveth God, let him answer it.
“Shall he who argues contend with the Almighty? He who argues with God, let him answer it.”
Então Jó respondeu ao Senhor:
¿Invalidarás tú también mi juicio? ¿me condenarás á mí, para justificarte á ti?
Then Job answered the LORD, and said,

“Eu sou indigno! Não mereço falar com o Senhor, ó Deus. Nunca poderia responder aos seus argumentos.
¿Tienes tú brazo como Dios? ¿y tronarás tú con voz como él?
Behold, I am vile; what shall I answer thee? I will lay mine hand upon my mouth.
“Behold, I am of small account. What will I answer you? I lay my hand on my mouth.
Já falei demais contra o Senhor; duas vezes até. Ficarei calado”.
Atavíate ahora de majestad y de alteza: y vístete de honra y de hermosura.
Once have I spoken; but I will not answer: yea, twice; but I will proceed no further.
I have spoken once, and I will not answer; Yes, twice, but I will proceed no further.”
De dentro da tempestade, o Senhor falou a Jó:
Esparce furores de tu ira: y mira á todo soberbio, y abátelo.
Then answered the LORD unto Job out of the whirlwind, and said,
Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind:
“Prepare-se como simples homem, pois ainda tenho outras perguntas a fazer, e quero que você me responda.
Mira á todo soberbio, y humíllalo, y quebranta á los impíos en su asiento.
Gird up thy loins now like a man: I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.
“Now brace yourself like a man. I will question you, and you will answer me.
“Você ainda vai querer colocar em dúvida a minha justiça, para demonstrar que você é justo?
Encúbrelos á todos en el polvo, venda sus rostros en la oscuridad;
Wilt thou also disannul my judgment? wilt thou condemn me, that thou mayest be righteous?
Will you even annul my judgment? Will you condemn me, that you may be justified?
Você ainda compara a sua força com a de Deus? E a sua voz pode trovejar como a dele?
Y yo también te confesaré que podrá salvarte tu diestra.
Hast thou an arm like God? or canst thou thunder with a voice like him?
Or do you have an arm like God? Can you thunder with a voice like him?
Então, vista-se de glória e grandeza e enfeite-se com majestade e honra.
He aquí ahora behemoth, al cual yo hice contigo; hierba come como buey.
Deck thyself now with majesty and excellency; and array thyself with glory and beauty.
“Now deck yourself with excellency and dignity. Array yourself with honor and majesty.
Use a sua grande ira e olhe para os pecadores orgulhosos e dê a eles o castigo merecido.
He aquí ahora que su fuerza está en sus lomos, y su fortaleza en el ombligo de su vientre.
Cast abroad the rage of thy wrath: and behold every one that is proud, and abase him.
Pour out the fury of your anger. Look at everyone who is proud, and bring him low.
Sim, humilhe os orgulhosos e destrua os perversos onde eles estiverem.
Su cola mueve como un cedro, y los nervios de sus genitales son entretejidos.
Look on every one that is proud, and bring him low; and tread down the wicked in their place.
Look at everyone who is proud, and humble him. Crush the wicked in their place.
Destrua e enterre juntos o orgulhoso e o perverso.
Sus huesos son fuertes como bronce, y sus miembros como barras de hierro.
Hide them in the dust together; and bind their faces in secret.
Hide them in the dust together. Bind their faces in the hidden place.
Então eu mesmo reconhecerei que você tem poder e justiça para salvar-se sozinho!
El es la cabeza de los caminos de Dios: el que lo hizo, puede hacer que su cuchillo á él se acerque.
Then will I also confess unto thee that thine own right hand can save thee.
Then I will also admit to you that your own right hand can save you.
“Observe bem o Beemote! Eu criei esse animal, quando criei você. Ele come ervas, como o boi.
Ciertamente los montes producen hierba para él: y toda bestia del campo retoza allá.
Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox.
“See now behemoth, which I made as well as you. He eats grass as an ox.
A força dele está nos seus lombos, nos músculos da sua barriga.
Echaráse debajo de las sombras, en lo oculto de las cañas, y de los lugares húmedos.
Lo now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the navel of his belly.
Look now, his strength is in his thighs. His force is in the muscles of his belly.
A sua cauda balança como o cedro; os tendões de suas pernas são duplamente trançados.
Los árboles sombríos lo cubren con su sombra; los sauces del arroyo lo cercan.
He moveth his tail like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapped together.
He moves his tail like a cedar. The sinews of his thighs are knit together.
Os seus ossos são duros como bronze, o seu esqueleto firme como se fosse feito de ferro.
He aquí que él tomará el río sin inmutarse: y confíase que el Jordán pasará por su boca.
His bones are as strong pieces of brass; his bones are like bars of iron.
His bones are like tubes of bronze. His limbs are like bars of iron.
Ele é minha obra-prima; só eu, seu Criador, sou capaz de vencê-lo.
¿Tomarálo alguno por sus ojos en armadijos, y horadará su nariz?
He is the chief of the ways of God: he that made him can make his sword to approach unto him.
He is the chief of the ways of God. He who made him gives him his sword.
Ele come o capim que nasce nos montes onde pastam felizes os animais selvagens.

Surely the mountains bring him forth food, where all the beasts of the field play.
Surely the mountains produce food for him, where all the animals of the field play.
Ele se deita debaixo das plantas que nascem nos rios e lagos e se esparrama no lodo e na lama.

He lieth under the shady trees, in the covert of the reed, and fens.
He lies under the lotus trees, in the covert of the reed, and the marsh.
Os lotos e juncos lhe dão sombra quando se deita,

The shady trees cover him with their shadow; the willows of the brook compass him about.
The lotuses cover him with their shade. The willows of the brook surround him.
e ele não fica em dificuldade quando os rios transbordam, nem mesmo quando há terríveis enchentes no rio Jordão.

Behold, he drinketh up a river, and hasteth not: he trusteth that he can draw up Jordan into his mouth.
Behold, if a river overflows, he doesn’t tremble. He is confident, though the Jordan swells even to his mouth.
Ninguém é capaz de prendê-lo quando ele está olhando, nem mesmo furar seu nariz com um anel de ferro e puxá-lo com uma corda”.

He taketh it with his eyes: his nose pierceth through snares.
Shall any take him when he is on the watch, or pierce through his nose with a snare?
