Job 42

Da antwortete Hiob dem HERRN folgendermaßen:

Y RESPONDIÓ Job á Jehová, y dijo:

»Ich habe anerkannt, daß du alles vermagst und kein Vorhaben dir unausführbar ist.

Yo conozco que todo lo puedes, y que no hay pensamiento que se esconda de ti.

I know that thou canst do every thing, and that no thought can be withholden from thee.

“I know that you can do all things, and that no purpose of yours can be restrained.

†›Wer ist’s, der da den Ratschluß Gottes verdunkelt ohne Einsicht?‹ So habe ich denn in Unverstand geurteilt über Dinge, die zu wunderbar für mich waren und die ich nicht verstand.

¿Quién es el que oscurece el consejo sin ciencia? por tanto yo denunciaba lo que no entendía; cosas que me eran ocultas, y que no las sabía.

Who is he that hideth counsel without knowledge? therefore have I uttered that I understood not; things too wonderful for me, which I knew not.

You asked, ‘Who is this who hides counsel without knowledge?’ therefore I have uttered that which I didn’t understand, things too wonderful for me, which I didn’t know.

†›Höre doch und laß mich reden! Ich will dich fragen, und du belehre mich!‹

Oye, te ruego, y hablaré: te preguntaré, y tú me enseñarás.

Hear, I beseech thee, and I will speak: I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.

You said, ‘Listen, now, and I will speak; I will question you, and you will answer me.’

Nur durch Hörensagen hatte ich von dir vernommen, jetzt aber hat mein Auge dich geschaut.

De oídas te había oído; mas ahora mis ojos te ven.

I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee.

I had heard of you by the hearing of the ear, but now my eye sees you.

Darum bekenne ich mich schuldig und bereue in Staub und Asche.«

Por tanto me aborrezco, y me arrepiento en el polvo y en la ceniza.

Darauf, nachdem der HERR so zu Hiob gesprochen hatte, sagte der HERR zu Eliphas von Theman: »Entbrannt ist mein Zorn gegen dich und gegen deine beiden Freunde; denn ihr habt nicht richtig von mir geredet wie mein Knecht Hiob.

Y aconteció que después que habló Jehová estas palabras á Job, Jehová dijo á Eliphaz Temanita: Mi ira se encendió contra ti y tus dos compañeros: porque no habéis hablado por mí lo recto, como mi siervo Job.

And it was so, that after the LORD had spoken these words unto Job, the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite, My wrath is kindled against thee, and against thy two friends: for ye have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job hath.

Darum holt euch nun sieben junge Stiere und sieben Widder, begebt euch zu meinem Knecht Hiob und bringt ein Brandopfer für euch dar! Mein Knecht Hiob soll dann Fürbitte für euch einlegen; denn nur aus Rücksicht auf ihn will ich euch eure Torheit nicht entgelten lassen, weil ihr nicht richtig von mir geredet habt wie mein Knecht Hiob.«

Ahora pues, tomaos siete becerros y siete carneros, y andad á mi siervo Job, y ofreced holocausto por vosotros, y mi siervo Job orará por vosotros; porque de cierto á él atenderé para no trataros afrentosamente, por cuanto no habéis hablado por mí con rectitud, como mi siervo Job.

Therefore take unto you now seven bullocks and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you: for him will I accept: lest I deal with you after your folly, in that ye have not spoken of me the thing which is right, like my servant Job.

Da gingen Eliphas von Theman, Bildad von Suah und Zophar von Naama hin und taten, wie der HERR ihnen geboten hatte; und der HERR nahm Rücksicht auf Hiob.

Fueron pues Eliphaz Temanita, y Bildad Suhita, y Sophar Naamatita, é hicieron como Jehová les dijo: y Jehová atendió á Job.

So Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite went, and did according as the LORD commanded them: the LORD also accepted Job.

Der HERR stellte dann Hiobs Glücksstand wieder her, als er Fürbitte für seine Freunde eingelegt hatte; und der HERR vermehrte den ganzen Besitz Hiobs so, daß er doppelt so groß war als früher.

Y mudó Jehová la aflicción de Job, orando él por sus amigos: y aumentó al doble todas las cosas que habían sido de Job.

Da kamen alle seine Brüder und Schwestern und alle seine früheren Bekannten zu ihm; sie aßen mit ihm in seinem Hause, bezeigten ihm ihr Beileid und trösteten ihn wegen all des Unglücks, mit dem der HERR ihn heimgesucht hatte; auch schenkten sie ihm ein jeder ein wertvolles Geldstück und jeder einen goldenen Ring.

Y vinieron á él todos sus hermanos, y todas sus hermanas, y todos los que antes le habían conocido, y comieron con él pan en su casa, y condoliéronse de él, y consoláronle de todo aquel mal que sobre él había Jehová traído; y cada uno de ellos le dió una pieza de moneda, y un zarcillo de oro.

Then came there unto him all his brethren, and all his sisters, and all they that had been of his acquaintance before, and did eat bread with him in his house: and they bemoaned him, and comforted him over all the evil that the LORD had brought upon him: every man also gave him a piece of money, and every one an earring of gold.

Der HERR aber segnete die nachfolgende Lebenszeit Hiobs noch mehr als seine frühere, so daß er es auf 14000 Stück Kleinvieh, 6000 Kamele, 1000 Joch Rinder und 1000 Eselinnen brachte.

Auch wurden ihm wieder sieben Söhne und drei Töchter geboren;

und man fand im ganzen Lande keine so schönen Frauen wie die Töchter Hiobs; und ihr Vater gab ihnen ein Erbteil unter ihren Brüdern. –

Danach lebte Hiob noch hundertundvierzig Jahre und sah seine Kinder und Kindeskinder, vier Geschlechter;
