Job 42

Da antwortete Hiob dem HERRN und sprach:

Y RESPONDIÓ Job á Jehová, y dijo:

Ich erkenne, daß du alles kannst und kein Plan dir unausführbar ist.

Yo conozco que todo lo puedes, y que no hay pensamiento que se esconda de ti.

I know that thou canst do every thing, and that no thought can be withholden from thee.

“I know that you can do all things, and that no purpose of yours can be restrained.

Wer ist's, der den Ratschluß †Gottes verdunkelt mit seinem Unverstand? Fürwahr, ich habe geredet, was ich nicht verstehe, was mir zu wunderbar ist und ich nicht begreifen kann!

¿Quién es el que oscurece el consejo sin ciencia? por tanto yo denunciaba lo que no entendía; cosas que me eran ocultas, y que no las sabía.

Who is he that hideth counsel without knowledge? therefore have I uttered that I understood not; things too wonderful for me, which I knew not.

You asked, ‘Who is this who hides counsel without knowledge?’ therefore I have uttered that which I didn’t understand, things too wonderful for me, which I didn’t know.

«Höre nun, ich will reden; ich will dich fragen, lehre mich!»

Oye, te ruego, y hablaré: te preguntaré, y tú me enseñarás.

Hear, I beseech thee, and I will speak: I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.

You said, ‘Listen, now, and I will speak; I will question you, and you will answer me.’

Vom Hörensagen hatte ich von dir gehört, aber nun sehe ich dich mit meinen Augen;

De oídas te había oído; mas ahora mis ojos te ven.

I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee.

I had heard of you by the hearing of the ear, but now my eye sees you.

darum widerrufe ich und will im Staube und in der Asche Buße tun.

Por tanto me aborrezco, y me arrepiento en el polvo y en la ceniza.

Als nun der HERR diese Reden an Hiob vollendet hatte, sprach der HERR zu Eliphas, dem Temaniter: Mein Zorn ist entbrannt über dich und deine beiden Freunde, denn ihr habt nicht recht von mir geredet, wie mein Knecht Hiob.

Y aconteció que después que habló Jehová estas palabras á Job, Jehová dijo á Eliphaz Temanita: Mi ira se encendió contra ti y tus dos compañeros: porque no habéis hablado por mí lo recto, como mi siervo Job.

And it was so, that after the LORD had spoken these words unto Job, the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite, My wrath is kindled against thee, and against thy two friends: for ye have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job hath.

So nehmt nun sieben Farren und sieben Widder und geht zu meinem Knecht Hiob und bringt sie als Brandopfer dar für euch selbst; mein Knecht Hiob aber soll für euch bitten; denn nur seine Person will ich ansehen, daß ich gegen euch nicht nach eurer Torheit handle; denn ihr habt nicht recht von mir geredet wie mein Knecht Hiob.

Ahora pues, tomaos siete becerros y siete carneros, y andad á mi siervo Job, y ofreced holocausto por vosotros, y mi siervo Job orará por vosotros; porque de cierto á él atenderé para no trataros afrentosamente, por cuanto no habéis hablado por mí con rectitud, como mi siervo Job.

Therefore take unto you now seven bullocks and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you: for him will I accept: lest I deal with you after your folly, in that ye have not spoken of me the thing which is right, like my servant Job.

Da gingen Eliphas, der Temaniter, und Bildad, der Schuchiter, und Zophar, der Naamatiter, und taten, wie der HERR ihnen befohlen hatte. Und der HERR sah Hiob an.

Fueron pues Eliphaz Temanita, y Bildad Suhita, y Sophar Naamatita, é hicieron como Jehová les dijo: y Jehová atendió á Job.

So Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite went, and did according as the LORD commanded them: the LORD also accepted Job.

Und der HERR wandte Hiobs Gefangenschaft, als er für seine Freunde bat; und der HERR erstattete Hiob alles doppelt wieder, was er gehabt.

Y mudó Jehová la aflicción de Job, orando él por sus amigos: y aumentó al doble todas las cosas que habían sido de Job.

And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.

Es kamen auch zu Hiob alle seine Brüder und alle seine Schwestern und alle seine frühern Bekannten und aßen mit ihm in seinem Hause und bezeugten ihm Teilnahme und trösteten ihn ob all dem Unglück, das der HERR über ihn gebracht hatte, und schenkten ihm ein jeder eine Münze und einen goldenen Ring.

Y vinieron á él todos sus hermanos, y todas sus hermanas, y todos los que antes le habían conocido, y comieron con él pan en su casa, y condoliéronse de él, y consoláronle de todo aquel mal que sobre él había Jehová traído; y cada uno de ellos le dió una pieza de moneda, y un zarcillo de oro.

Then came there unto him all his brethren, and all his sisters, and all they that had been of his acquaintance before, and did eat bread with him in his house: and they bemoaned him, and comforted him over all the evil that the LORD had brought upon him: every man also gave him a piece of money, and every one an earring of gold.

Und der HERR segnete das spätere Leben Hiobs mehr als sein früheres; er bekam 14000 Schafe, 6000 Kamele, 1000 Joch Rinder und 1000 Eselinnen.

Y bendijo Jehová la postrimería de Job más que su principio; porque tuvo catorce mil ovejas, y seis mil camellos, y mil yuntas de bueyes, y mil asnas.

Er bekam auch sieben Söhne und drei Töchter.

Und es wurden im ganzen Lande keine so schönen Weiber gefunden wie Hiobs Töchter; und ihr Vater gab ihnen ein Erbteil unter ihren Brüdern.

Hiob aber lebte darnach noch 140 Jahre und sah seine Kinder und Kindeskinder bis in das vierte Geschlecht.

Und Hiob starb alt und lebenssatt.
