If we assay to commune with thee, wilt thou be grieved? but who can withhold himself from speaking?
“If someone ventures to talk with you, will you be grieved? But who can withhold himself from speaking?
He aquí, tú enseñabas a muchos, y las manos flacas corroborabas.
He aquí, tú enseñabas á muchos, y las manos flacas corroborabas;
Behold, thou hast instructed many, and thou hast strengthened the weak hands.
Behold, you have instructed many, you have strengthened the weak hands.
Al que vacilaba, enderezaban tus palabras, y las rodillas de los que arrodillaban esforzabas.

Thy words have upholden him that was falling, and thou hast strengthened the feeble knees.
Your words have supported him who was falling, you have made the feeble knees firm.
Mas ahora que a ti te ha venido, te es molesto; y cuando ha llegado hasta ti, te turbas.

But now it is come upon thee, and thou faintest; it toucheth thee, and thou art troubled.

Is not this thy fear, thy confidence, thy hope, and the uprightness of thy ways?
Isn’t your piety your confidence? Isn’t the integrity of your ways your hope?
Acuérdate ahora, ¿quién haya sido inocente que se perdiese? Y ¿adónde los rectos han sido cortados?
Recapacita ahora, ¿quién que fuera inocente se perdiera? y ¿en dónde los rectos fueron cortados?
Remember, I pray thee, who ever perished, being innocent? or where were the righteous cut off?

Como yo he visto que los que aran iniquidad y siembran injuria, la siegan.

Even as I have seen, they that plow iniquity, and sow wickedness, reap the same.

Shall mortal man be more just than God? shall a man be more pure than his maker?

Behold, he put no trust in his servants; and his angels he charged with folly:

De la mañana a la tarde son quebrantados, y se pierden para siempre, sin haber quien lo considere.
