Ele manda a chuva cair sobre a terra e regar os campos.
Que da la lluvia sobre la haz de la tierra, y envía las aguas por los campos:
Who giveth rain upon the earth, and sendeth waters upon the fields:
who gives rain on the earth, and sends waters on the fields;
Ele exalta os humildes, e coloca em segurança os que choram.
Que pone los humildes en altura, y los enlutados son levantados á salud:
To set up on high those that be low; that those which mourn may be exalted to safety.
so that he sets up on high those who are low, those who mourn are exalted to safety.
“Ele acaba com os planos de homens perversos e não permite que façam as maldades que planejam.
Que frustra los pensamientos de los astutos, para que sus manos no hagan nada:
He disappointeth the devices of the crafty, so that their hands cannot perform their enterprise.
He frustrates the plans of the crafty, so that their hands can’t perform their enterprise.
Os perversos acabam sendo destruídos pela sua própria maldade; seus planos violentos são cortados por Deus.
Que prende á los sabios en la astucia de ellos, y el consejo de los perversos es entontecido;
He taketh the wise in their own craftiness: and the counsel of the froward is carried headlong.

Em pleno dia eles ficam no escuro, como cegos; a luz do dia será tão escura quanto a meia-noite!
De día se topan con tinieblas, y en mitad del día andan á tientas como de noche:

“Deus salva os órfãos e necessitados, salva-os das mãos dos poderosos.
Y libra de la espada al pobre, de la boca de los impíos, y de la mano violenta;
But he saveth the poor from the sword, from their mouth, and from the hand of the mighty.
But he saves from the sword of their mouth, even the needy from the hand of the mighty.
Por isso há esperança para os pobres, porque os perversos serão destruídos pela sua própria injustiça.
Pues es esperanza al menesteroso, y la iniquidad cerrará su boca.
So the poor hath hope, and iniquity stoppeth her mouth.
So the poor has hope, and injustice shuts her mouth.
“Feliz é o homem a quem Deus corrige! Portanto não despreze o castigo do Todo-poderoso.
He aquí, bienaventurado es el hombre á quien Dios castiga: por tanto no menosprecies la corrección del Todopoderoso.
Behold, happy is the man whom God correcteth: therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty:

Ele mesmo trata da ferida que ele fez. Ele machuca, mas suas mãos curam.
Porque él es el que hace la llaga, y él la vendará: él hiere, y sus manos curan.
For he maketh sore, and bindeth up: he woundeth, and his hands make whole.
For he wounds and binds up. He injures and his hands make whole.
Ele estará sempre ao seu lado para livrá-lo de todos os problemas que surgirem.
En seis tribulaciones te librará, y en la séptima no te tocará el mal.
He shall deliver thee in six troubles: yea, in seven there shall no evil touch thee.
He will deliver you in six troubles; yes, in seven no evil will touch you.
“Se houver fome na terra, ele lhe dará comida. Ele o protegerá do golpe da espada na guerra.
En el hambre te redimirá de la muerte, y en la guerra de las manos de la espada.
In famine he shall redeem thee from death: and in war from the power of the sword.
In famine he will redeem you from death; in war, from the power of the sword.
Ele cuidará para que você não seja destruído por palavras mentirosas. E mesmo no meio da destruição, você não precisará temer.
Del azote de la lengua serás encubierto; ni temerás de la destrucción cuando viniere.
Thou shalt be hid from the scourge of the tongue: neither shalt thou be afraid of destruction when it cometh.
You will be hidden from the scourge of the tongue, neither will you be afraid of destruction when it comes.
“Sim, você rirá da destruição e da fome, e não precisará ter medo dos animais ferozes.
De la destrucción y del hambre te reirás, y no temerás de las bestias del campo:
At destruction and famine thou shalt laugh: neither shalt thou be afraid of the beasts of the earth.
You will laugh at destruction and famine, neither will you be afraid of the animals of the earth.
Deus fará com que as pedras do campo sejam úteis para você, e os animais do campo serão seus amigos.
Pues aun con las piedras del campo tendrás tu concierto, y las bestias del campo te serán pacíficas.
For thou shalt be in league with the stones of the field: and the beasts of the field shall be at peace with thee.
For you will be allied with the stones of the field. The animals of the field will be at peace with you.
“Você pode ter certeza de que a paz guardará a sua casa, e você não achará falta de nada quando contar os bens da sua morada.
Y sabrás que hay paz en tu tienda; y visitarás tu morada, y no pecarás.
And thou shalt know that thy tabernacle shall be in peace; and thou shalt visit thy habitation, and shalt not sin.
You will know that your tent is in peace. You will visit your fold, and will miss nothing.
Sua família se tornará muito grande e poderosa na terra, e os seus descendentes serão como as folhas do pasto.
Asimismo echarás de ver que tu simiente es mucha, y tu prole como la hierba de la tierra.
Thou shalt know also that thy seed shall be great, and thine offspring as the grass of the earth.
You will know also that your offspring will be great, your offspring as the grass of the earth.
A morte chegará na hora certa, quando você já tiver vivido uma vida longa e feliz, como um feixe de trigo que se colhe quando está maduro.
Y vendrás en la vejez á la sepultura, como el montón de trigo que se coge á su tiempo.
Thou shalt come to thy grave in a full age, like as a shock of corn cometh in in his season.
You will come to your grave in a full age, like a shock of grain comes in its season.
“Eu venho observando a vida por muito tempo e sei que o que lhe disse é a verdade. Para seu próprio bem, ouça e aproveite o meu conselho”.
He aquí lo que hemos inquirido, lo cual es así: óyelo, y juzga tú para contigo.
Lo this, we have searched it, so it is; hear it, and know thou it for thy good.
Behold, we have researched it. It is so. Hear it, and know it for your good.”
