Gleich einem Sklaven, der nach Schatten lechzt, und wie ein Tagelöhner, der auf seinen Lohn harrt,

Como el siervo anhela la sombra, y como el jornalero espera el reposo de su trabajo:

As a servant earnestly desireth the shadow, and as an hireling looketh for the reward of his work:
